Mahogany Salon & Spa (Stittsville)

I had a fantastic hour relaxation massage with Paige. She is very kind and has excellent client focus. I feel great today and highly recommend going to Mahogany.

I've been there a few times and since the first time I now refuse to go anywhere else for my hair.

The first time I went, I had a horrible job done in my hair from another salon and the staff at mahogany have completely revived it. The same thing happened with my mother and she left looking like a new person.

I am moving next year but I will surely come back to Ottawa to get my hair done at mahogany. The staff are friendly and from what I have seen, if there are any issues with the finished product they take complete responsibility and fix anything that you didn't love.

I highly recommend Rhythm and Trinity. They have been truly a pleasure to have as a hairdresser.

I had an amazing experience for my hair cut today. Thanks to Dana for giving perfect haircut, exactly as I needed. It’s one of the best hair cuts I have got so far.

Although staff are generally friendly and passionate about what they do, I feel like the quality of services has gone down in the past few years. It's very hit or miss.

Unfortunately, my last visit was very dissapointing and I am unsure if I even want to go back to Mahogany. I got my makeup done for my best friend's wedding and I told the esthetician that i wanted a look to match my pink, white, and gold dress. Its summer and I was thinking she would give me something romantic or summery (natural), but instead she gave me a very dark, brown smoky eye with heavy highlighting, thick eyeliner (which was messy and uneven), extremely long, fake lashes (which she had a hard time sticking on my eyelids and made my eyes stuck together) ; bright lipstick, and my eyebrow pencil was not blended. It took her 1 hour 12 minutes to complete my makeup which made us late to the wedding as I had to go home and get my makeup bag to fix my makeup. Its my fault I didnt say anything, but there was no time to redo or fix what had been done. It was a hard pill to swallow to pay for the service. Its not just that I didn't like it, but it was very poorly done and looked very messy.

With prices going up everywhere, i cant take any more chances with mahogany. Very sad.

I love this spa! Holly is the absolute best RMT, I only ever book appointments with her. Everything about the massage is perfect, she is great!

I had Ambreen and I was looking for grey coverage and man did I get that and more. I love our chats, her scalp massages are to die for and I look gorgeous. She is amazing at what she does.

I had booked a 1 hour signature massage therapy with Holly. It was the absolute worst massage I've ever received. I'd rate her massage as a light relaxation massage at best. It was also more expensive than elsewhere as even though the signature massage is described as using essential oils and hot towels they charge you an extra $10 for that. I actually booked here based on the description. I love hot towels so I agreed to pay the extra $10. What I didn't expect was having to ask hee to remove them as my arms, neck and face were getting steady stream of cold water off them. She didn't get a single knot out. I've wasted half of my yearly insurance allowance and yet will still need to book a massage elsewhere to get much needed knots out. I asked for more pressure without response. In fact I clarified the exact shoulder that needed extra attention twice during the massage and yet she spend the least amount of time on that side at all. I actually wanted to get up and leave not even half way through but didn't have the nerve. She most certainly wasn't a warm and fuzzy person. I tried to lighten her mood a couple of times but it wasn't happening. I'll certainly never return and in fact feel ripped off and extremely disappointed.

I love going to Mahogany - it is my regular treat to myself - especially since I discovered Kaitlin. She is a miracle worker - she resolved a very painful ingrown toenail. It is such a relief.
She is very professional and does a terrific job.

Ambreen did a wonderful job cutting and styling my hair. I will definitely be going back! The whole experience was quite enjoyable.

Wonderful experience! Ambreen did such a fantastic cut and was lovely to talk to the entire time! The boutique has some seriously cute gifts too!

Wanted to give some feedback as normally my experience with Mahogany Salons are great.

I went to get my hair cut today as an early birthday present to myself but I was quite disappointed by the service. They offered me water but it never came. I completely understand that those mistakes can happen. However, during my appointment, my stylist barely talked to me. The entire service took less than 25mins despite it saying online that it was to be 45mins to an hour. I felt like she was rushing to finish with me. Despite the extra time, there was no offer to curl my hair or anything. On top of that, the stylist was listed as an Elite Master Stylist and the service came out to 82$ after tax. I don't mind paying that much for a good service but to get a 25min hair cut, not have my hair curled and receive poor customer service just left me feeling disappointed. My hair itself looks fine but fell flat as soon as I left the building.

Very friendly and professional staff. I was very happy to see how they clean and sanitize after each customer.

Beautiful relaxing atmosphere. Everyone was extremely friendly. It was very clean and fresh. My hair was exactly what I wanted. Experienced of the stylist showed and it made me less nervous coming to a new place for my hair. Military discount as well. What a gem.

I got a pedicure done today and Ryan was so wonderful. I currently have a broken ankle but she was so careful and took very good care of me. All of the staff are very friendly. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back!

I went to get my highlights & cut with my 15 yrs old daughter for the first time and we really enjoyed our date!
Amanzing salon/spa, for the moment we went to the front desk, we had a complimentary drink (ice tea) while sitting in quite waiting area, and the hairstylists did a wonderful work on our hair!
I will definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking to get pampered and have a relaxed time.

The atmosphere was great and the service was wonderful. I had haircut and full foil service with Dana and the result was amazing.

I have “I’m a gardener! ” feet and Meg was amazing. Just the calf and foot massage alone made my day. On top of that, I left with pretty polished toes and a wonderful “bounce” in my now very smooth and presentable feet.

I highly recommend this salon! Today I had my first facial and it was relaxing and informative. They make sure you feel welcome, comfortable and relaxed the whole time you are in their care. This salon is high quality and is extremely clean and professional. I can’t wait until my next visit!

I thought I would try out Mahogany’s new “threading” service with Amreen. I have received this service at another spa for many years. Amreen is professional and very thorough, extremely knowledgeable and fastidious. I would recommend this service as it surpassed all previous experiences. I received a facial from Becca the other day. It was amazing. She was friendly, gentle, and knew what she was doing. By far the best estitician i have ever. I would highly recommend seeing her. She also does a great foot massage. Thank you becca:)

I had a Spa pedicure with paraffin wax today and it was the best pedi I have had. Jayna was outstanding and I’ve already booked my next appointment with her.

Very good customer service. The staff is very friendly and kind. I never been so satisfied with m haircut and waxing. If I could give them more then 5 stars I would.

Rebeka Hall is the most unprofessional customer service representative I run in to in last 20 years.i strongly recommend you to change carrier ASAP. Mahagany Spa will bankrupt in no time with customer service like yours.

Went there today for the first time to get a makeup and hairstyle trial for my wedding and I’m speechless with the service. The receptionists were very friendly and welcoming. My makeup and hair were done flawlessly according to what I wanted. The place is absolutely beautiful, tidy and clean. I’m getting even more excited for my big day!

I was reading the reviews here and saw the receptionist “Rebeka Hall” mention in a very poor manner. First of all she is extremely professional, friendly and does a very good job, why would that person who wrote the review try to ruin someone’s reputation not to mention career! I’ve had nothing but great experiences while going here! I hope management understands a bad review from someone doesn’t mean they do a terrible job and shame in that person for trying to make her look bad. I don’t normally write reviews but felt it was very important to mention here the staff is fabulous

I recently had an opulent body treatment with Lisa and didn't want it to end! It was wonderful from start to finish - it included exfoliating, effleurage, wonderfully scented products with essential oils, head massage. I highly recommend this treatment for anyone who needs to some serious relaxing (not to mention silky skin!).

COVID hair! Coming out of the 3rd lockdown my husband desperately needed a haircut, I spoke with front staff Sharon who was fantastic getting him an appointment and recommended Ambrein who did a fantastic job, he was impressed with the price too! Thank you Mahogany!

I have recently moved to Ottawa and was looking for a place to cut my hair. I have been growing my hair since 2011 and really nervous about who touches my hair because my hair means a lot to me. I heard about Mahogany thru a family friend and I was EXTREMELY happy with my overall experience! Not only was my hair stylist amazing but she really listened to what I wanted! The front desk was also so warm and friendly with offering me a drink and a snack! Thank you Mahogany will be returning for sure!

Over a period of three years I tried various salons in the city before finding Mahogany Stittsville - I have now been going there for seven years and have never looked back! Mahogany Salon and Spa is where you go for exceptional service. From the greeting at the front door to the lovely waiting area, to the incredible treatment. I felt pampered from beginning to end. The staff is extremely professional and lovely. The spa is immaculate. I’ve been for a pedicure, manicure, Indian head massage, facial – all services are incredible as they hold themselves to very high standards. I would definitely recommend this spa to anyone who is looking for excellent service.

I’ve had a few massages previous to my 1st time at Mahogany Salon and Spa I would have to give it a 6/10. Firstly the table was cold and extremely hard, no cushioning at all just 1 thin sheet extremely uncomfortable, was not even close to relaxing from the get go. Then only a thin cotton sheet over me which left me extremely cold the entire time. Every time my masseuse moved her feet hit the table. I had a 60 minute session but my front legs were not touched only the back of my legs and so once I turned over the only thing that she massaged was my shoulders, neck and upper chest area. There was no head massage. I’d have to say sadly the best part of my massage was when she did my hands. I felt like my masseuse was really only doing it to fill in the scheduled appointment not because she enjoyed providing a service. I felt perhaps she was tired.

I have never posted a complaint on a website before but the price for a hair cut was very expensive, particularly considering I had an apprentice. That would not be a problem, except I should have been told beforehand. The hair cut was not good, some long straggly pieces that I had to trim when I got home and the bangs are uneven. I won’t be back.

I visited Mahogany tonight for the first time in a while and had the most incredible experience. I mixed up my appointment but Rebecca and the staff on duty squeezed me in to get my eyebrows done. I like a natural, thick brow and Rebecca not only delivered but she was incredible kind and personable throughout the service.

10/10 experience. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back!

Had a wonderful pedicure today at the Stittsville location - the first in 4 months! They have gone beyond the covid protocols required and I felt very safe and comfortable getting my service. And my toes look wonderful again! Thanks for the relaxing morning.

Manager agreed that my 75 mins facial was not up to par yet didn't take any steps to rectify it, paid for 75 mins only received 60 mins and no foot rub which was to be included.manager acknowledged that they person giving my treatment was in training.great atmosphere, but unfortunately I won't be back

I have been to Mahogany many times to get my hair done, & it has always been a great experience. I've more recently this year been visiting the Stittsville location as it is closer for me, & I always leave feeling great. Dana has done a fantastic job with my hair, she always works hard to give me what I want & is very nice. I have been to see her a few times now, I can't wait for my next appointment!:)

Have had numerous bad experiences with this salon from the poor quality of service, to the unfortunate customer service. Would not recommend.
