Garbage place that have no clue about their orders
Got charged for the food and they were telling me that they didn’t receive any order the other location has it. Turns out the order was nowhere and they were just pushing responsibility around.
Not a good place to go

The food was so delicious and the service was very fast the people who work there are polite and helpful.

Food was good and done to perfection.food came out fast also. Ate here twice, had shish. And mix grill. Good every time and still juicy and full of flavor.

So bland. Nothing was fresh. Rice were microwaved.chicken was dried out n sauces had no taste. A complete disappointment.

Rice was warmed up in the microwave and was hard and old.the rice portion is so small compare to the other kabob shops. Plus since when does each skewer have four pieces of meat on it.

So yummy and delicious. Really loved the service and the food is the peak of all mid-eastern cuisine. Would recommend to all. Love that David guy too. My friend Nadine loves her wrap! And tharmaa loved the succulent kabob that he destroyed. My friend Jeffrey absolutely munched on a naan and Darcy demolished his chutney. Zuhaib said he was back in his homeland and divya especially slurped down every last drop of water. Alexis tore the Sikh kabob to shreds and Yasin ate his kabob like he was in the jungle.would recommend, felt like my mothers cooking.

The staff and Management are very welcoming and provide a warm atmosphere as well as excellent food which I always end up INHALING

It’s was enjoyable however for the price point of $24 for a similar dish at other kebab places the quality can be better. There was a mistake with giving more rice instead of more salad. However they kindly gave me a salad to make up for this. Can’t say I will be coming back soon.

Order wasn't quite ready when we got there so they gave us soup free of charge! Excellent meals! Will be back for sure

Waiss is fantastic and everyone should try his food. I had Lamb shank and it was yummy. Great atmosphere, clean and great service over all. It is my new favorite restaurant. Highly recommended A+

Loved the food. The portion size is also generous. We ordered tandoori chicken wrap & meal. Chicken was tender and delicious. Also, I tried the Pherni dessert. Perfect amount of sweetness.

or the kabob is too stiff,
the mantoo is lousy - it's as if they warmed up someone's left overs for you - not enough sauces and not presentable at all. And really pricey for 6mantoos.
The chaplee kabob is better I find more moist.

The food was very delicious, marination of the meat was flavorful, Salad and naan can be better. Overall I will purchase again! Definitely also recommend the wraps for Takeout.

Food was good but. But bad service. Found hair on food but instead of changing it they blamed the hair could be from our hair. We left without finishing the food.

This place is so delicious. It's family run and everything tastes fresh and home made. Their naan is excellent.

Not sure if it’s new owners but this place has gone waaay downhill. My family has been ordering from here since it opened years ago. Last few orders have been very disappointing. Chicken breast dinner was tough to chew and clearly reheated NOT fresh. The naan was cold and hard as a rock. My husbands burger bun was also very hard. Very disappointing for the money spent! A 10$ burger should taste like one. Never ordering from here again.

The girl at the counter is really stupid I paid 24 dollars for a mixed grill she forgets to pack the sauce. She almost forgot the nan too I will not return there are better deals out there for this price I’m not trying to be ripped off twice

Hanestly the food was not delicious the rice was not cooked properly the meat was so hard to chew it. And they charge us for serve 53$ the other maimana restaurants is totally deferent they cheaper and they Have more delicious foods and very good service. But not at this location
They had not a good service. I recomed to not eat at this location.

The receptionist was very rude to us. I think she doesn't like Indian's when someone else came inside she was very nice to that person and start talking in her language she needs to treat everyone same.

Naan are made fresh in house. Food are made to order. We enjoy dine in and take out. Clean place. Order ahead of time if you get take out so you dont have to wait

Food was totally dry especially the rice. It was as if they re-heated previously cooked rice. To make matters worse the price is on the steeper side especially given the very small portion sizes. Definitely not going back.

We just been to this restaurant wrost food I have ever had.small portions instead of chicken breast it was dark meat undercook told them they replaced chicken tandoori but still terrible taste and smell. Naan was not crisp but hard like stone.only went there after reading reviews all FAKE.please dont waste your hard earn money in this restaurant because I just did and I feel really bad.waste of time money and gas.

This place is too expensive for what they serve. Their kabobs are so tiny and give you leas rice. The dressings were horrible. They charge over $18 for place of rice and chicken and has such less portions. Original Naan & Kabob is much better. Very disappointing never going here again

Food was bit dry. But different ppl has different test. They served us complimentary soup which was very delicious.

It has vastly improved since the last many times I had dinner there (a new chef?)
Meat is tender and perfectly juicy and delicious. Rice is very well cooked.

The owners are very good people and manage the restaurant very well but when the owners arent there everything is a mess.

Last 3 times i came here i asked for a wrap and they didnt listen to my instructions

Second time going there, hoping food would be better then the last time. Unfortunately the same. Tika very chewy and the portion of the food is very little. We ordered 2 dinner over $40 and yet not full had to grab a sandwich after. If you like Afghan food I highly recommend Bamiyan Kabob, kandar kabob or even Afghan cuisine across the street from them is much better and you will get a much better meal dont waist your money there. Trust me

The food here is beautiful, very well made with lots of flavor! I had the shish kebab with rice and salad plus a side of dumplings for lunch which was very good. Definitely will be returning thanks again Weiss and Sultana!

Found plastic in my food bit right into it. Was pretty disgusting, had to throw away all the item I bought. Upon reading other reviews here I realized multiple people found suprises in there food.

The lady working here told my boyfriend she should charge him and everyone else who doesn’t wear a mask an a extra 10%. Disgusting. Never heard of such blatant discrimination in my life. Shame on you.

Absolutely delicious! All the food was so tasty, well seasoned, and so fresh. We ordered the burger which was scrumptious. The lamb shank with the rice with the carrots and raisins. The lamb shank was so soft and tender and falls right off the bone, you can tell it was marinated for a long time and cooked with so much love, and cooked to perfection. We also ordered the mixed grill, which came with the chicken, the beef tikka and sheesh kabab, all of which were seasoned so well and full of flavour and again, cooked to perfection. The naan was soft and you can tell it was made fresh when I ordered, best I’ve had in a very very long time. Even the salad that comes with the meals was so fresh the lettuce, tomatoes, onions and cucumbers all beautiful colours and perfect! Honestly I’m so happy I decided to go here to grab food for my family. We will definitely be eating from here again. The restaurant was very clean when I walked in, I ordered our food to go, which was prepared by very nice and down to earth people. The wait was not long at all but ample enough that I knew all our food was being prepared and made to order. Hands down one of the best restaurants in the Durham Region.

For the price they charge, the quantity they give is very less. It takes 20 dollars to get your stomach filled, but to make a fairer point, the quality of the food is good when compared to the other economic options around.

My chicken burger Patty was raw and I asked if it could be "well done" and the male owner literally told me.that it's not the "patty" but it was "me". Even asked for forks when I knew he had some but declined to give it.
There's no reason to be defensive of the food - I'm not coming here again as we expected better and polite service.

MAIMANA in WHITBY has better customer service and food quality! I recommend going there!:)

Food is tasty and moist. Sauces are delicious. Had the tandoori kebab meal and the grilled chicken meal. Love the naan.

My family had such a wonderful meal at Maimana. The young fellow at the counter was so welcoming - it was a lovely start to our experience. Everything we ordered was full of delicious flavour. The presentation was gorgeous! Our food stayed hot to the last bites, and we left perfectly full. Thank you!

Much better price and quantity compared to other restaurants.

Stopped in for a quick lunch this past weekend and had a great meal.

I had heard about this place from a coworker so I juat had to try as he highly recommended it.

My girlfriend and I ordered the kebab meal with salad, rice and naan as well as an appetizer. Came out to just over $20 and was more than enough food to feed two at lunch.

Staff were very pleasant and friendly. Restaurant had a very nice aesthetic and the background music was very nice. I enjoy being in a dine in setting that doesn't force you to listen to awful pop music.

Was absolutely delicious. The staff was also very friendly. I had the chicken wrap and one of the meals, both amazing. Was happy I found this place on my driving shift and didn't eat some garbage like Wendy's.

Ordered the Chicken Tandoori meal. The meal will fill you and that’s all I’ll say. Unfortunately I found in my meal a small object that feels like a rock/pebble. I crunched down on it and it hurt like heck and now have an appointment with a dentist for what feels like a chipped molar. This was a Wednesday evening meal and orders seemed light that night. Obviously the rock wasn’t intentional but for a quiet night to have this get into the food, the kitchen staff was also obviously not focused on prepping the food.

I have tired Chicken Tikka wrap and it was one of the best wrap I have tasted. Everything from wrap, chicken and contents were fresh and soft. On the top of that the attitude of staff were very polite. I would definitely coming here to try other stuff.

I have been eating here since they opened and an sad to say that the service is now quite disappointing. The last two times we've ordered there have been mix ups, reduction in quantity and sheer confusion at the Ajax location. We have placed orders hours in advance only to be questioned upon arrival on whether we actually ordered, which location and finally told they they ran out of food at some point. If you're willing to wait hours and experience disarray go for it.

Had my first kid 1 year old birthday in an Ajax venue and maimana Resturant provided us with a catering menu that fed 60-70 people and everyone was happy and said the food was very delicious! I go eat there with my family sometimes and food is amazing! Service is amazing! WAIS is the owner I believe and he was super nice and the service was excellent! Thank you for providing us with the excellent food and service! Will definitely use them for another event or even go there for great food and service!

Food was delicious! It has a bit more of a Pakistani flare in terms of spices and sauces compared to places like Bamiyan and Naan & Kabob, but I loved that! So flavourful and unique! The bread is also the best from all the afghan kabob stores in the GTA. Fluffy and lots of sesame seeds. Will definitely come back!

Very friendly staff and the food was good. Lost 1 star because there are slim options for vegetarians. Lost another star because I ordered one of the two veg options as an entree from the online menu along with another meat entree. The veg entree did not show different sizes. The person on the phone did not ask which size I wanted but when I picked it up, I received the appetizer size. So I had an appetizer for dinner and had to make myself more food which defeated the purpose of take out.

I tried their wrap yesterday, and I must say that it was one of the best wraps I've ever tried! The employees are very welcoming, I highly recommend this place.

Don’t visit this Restaurent worst customer service. We order a Lamp chops and Tikka & ask for well done Tikka was all pink/red inside and lamp chops was 80% fat and when I ask for manager I was told this is how we serve there was no apology I would suggest all customers to stay away from Maimana in Ajax.

Really great place to eat. Food is one of the best around here. Additionally they made one simple error (which anyone can make) and went above and beyond the receipt amount to ensure that my other meal covered everything I ordered (and much more than that).

We knew this place a year ago when we were living in Ajax and now we come here from Vaughan. It has delicious meat, chicken and nan. Also, we never feel worried about the quality of the food as the staff care a lot about it. Highly recommended, great food, kind staff and super clean

This place used to be ABSOLUTELY superb and I used to love eating their food BUT lately their good quality has been going downhill recently. Ever since they started doing SkipTheDishes they have always messed up our order in some way. (Note: the order is usually for 3 people minimum) If I were to order 2 chicken tandoor wrap combos and a chicken tandoori burger combo + an extra wrap they would forget the burger and one of the fries for the combo. Also the wraps lately have either been too dry or too salty and haven't been great since (also the meat would be overcooked AND I noticed the wraps have gotten smaller). Major improvements need to be made.

Wow, so glad I stopped by. Incredible flavors and fresh food. We had the Mixed grill. Great sample of different meats if you find it hard to choose. Definitely will be back.

Excellent Afghan food. Freshly prepared, good quality meat and the bread is a notch up from most other afghan places. The people are nice and welcoming as well. The ambiance is fairly spartan, it could use a little spit and polish. Overall, however, it's a worthy place to stop.

I have been here before many times. Always enjoyed their food. Experience today was amazing. The Cook asked me how I would like the meat and made suggestions. Second he asked if I have tried the Kabuli pilau here, when I said no, ask if I would like to. At no extra charge made my plate half regular rice and half Kabuli. Finally came during the meal to ask if everything was ok. Really impress with service here. Food is delicious. Some people say portion size are small. I think they are adequate. Would highly recommend eating here. Picture attached of Sultani (meal name). That carrots and raisins is the Kabuli pilao addition.

This Afghan restaurant had a nice flavor to it's kabob and the sauces were really good. Overall it was a good place to eat and the food was tasty. But compared to other Afghan restaurants like Bamiyan, the food wasn't that tasty and the price was rather very high for portion size.

I was in the area and me and my wife got hungry. We looked up online for a close by restaurant and maimana came up. We had the beef kabab meal, waziri meal which is chicken and beef kabab and we ordered manto as a side dish. The meal tasted delicious yet honestly the rice I hope they work on it since it was left over mixed with new one. The restaurant is clean and the service was great.

We found the place on a list off restaurants in Ajax I had the beef kabob it was very nice and tasty. We had the manto as a side dish it was freshly made I liked ther bread alot.

The food wasn't tasty and the qabeli palaw's raisins were not fresh either, there were many rotten raisins in them. I went there because I had been there and the food was tasty but not anymore.

Everything is fresh and meeting my expectations.the only thing i didn t like is that they offer tea in bags and all tea was flavoured while I prefer plain black tea after bbq.

Seasoned really well, the rice with carrots is a must try! If you can't decide what to get, the mixed grill has three different types
