I've been a patient at Main Street Dental since around 1973, and Dr. Magder has been my dedicated dentist throughout my 54 years. I can't express enough how pleased I am with the excellent care and professionalism of the entire staff at Main Street Dental. Highly recommend!

They gave me same day service when I needed them most, and I will never forget that. Absolutely fantastic people here that genuinely do sympathize with whatever dental problem you may suffer from

I've been using this dentistry office for 20 years, they try to save you money by giving a percentage off of your bill if you dont have insurance. They dont anything that's not necessary, they have the patients best interest AT heart. Very caring and considerate dentist towards your feelings of nervousness or anxiety when having dental work done. Awesome beside manners.

Everyone was very friendly and professional. The dentist was very informative and everyone overall made me feel comfortable!

I hate going to the dentist, but all the people at this dental office made me feel comfortable and safe. The dentist explained options, and even how the process worked - which I truly appreciated. They went above and beyond in so many ways, I was pleasantly surprised.

All the staff we’ve seen so far are awesome. I called with a question and the receptionist got my daughter in the same day just to make sure she was ok and have her seen. Awesome staff!

The loveliest dental clinic! The girls in reception are wonderful and the entire experience is a breeze. Never thought I would look forward to going to the dentist but here we are! Thank you:)

I was not even a patient and I called at 9am, in tears, with terrible pain and a couple loose teeth. They were so nice and immediately got me in for 1130am. (After I called multiple dentists in my area and got talked to like I was garbage by them or couldn't get an appointment for weeks or months)
When I arrived they were very helpful and I barely had to wait at all. The dentist saw me and pulled my teeth and that was that. Easy peasy. I highly recommend them and I will be going here from now on, at least until I move too far away lol

The Staff at this office were very friendly and welcoming! Dr. Jake was great talked to me face to face with eye contact not looking down at his desk and was very patient with me explaining things clearly not.pressuring me to book with his office. I needed anethesia which he is currently training for but i have a strict time line and therefore needed to go elsewhere. I am new to this dental clinic which I selected based on the positive reviews. Dr. Carriere and team definitely did not disappoint. Everyone was very friendly and professional especially Dr. Carriere. He took his time to explain everything to me and make sure I was comfortable. Dr. Jake is an amazing dentist as well as a caring human being. I can’t recommend Main Street Dental enough. My husband had a difficult tooth removed today and Dr. Jake checked up on him later tonight. You don’t find those kinds of caring medical professionals very often. I’m so glad we found him last year when I had a dental emergency, I recommend Main Street dental to everyone. All the staff are fantastic to deal with.

My husband and I finally decided to choose to attend a dentist closer to our new home, having moved from Caledon where we lived for 27 years. We chose Main Street due to the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I had not seen a dentist in many years and suffered a broken tooth so I knew I had to do something. I was happily surprised at Dr Magders informative and experienced advice and he offered to extract the tooth and fill a couple of cavities during this appointment. I was grateful for the immediate service and very happy with Dr Magders work. He explained exactly what he was doing moment but moment. His assistant, Rachel was equally friendly, efficient and open to my questions. The experience was fantastic and I would highly recommend this team.

This was my first visit to this Dental Office, and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The first time I called trying to book an appointment they were able to get me in the same day, and my son the following day. Such friendly staff, I definitely found a great new dental office:)

Quick turn around for an appointment considering I messed up and was was a no show for my original appointment (I should have checked my calendar and mistakenly thought my appointment was Wednesday when it was actually Monday) I called to apologize and was not penalized in any way and was given another appointment with a chance at the next cancellation. The next day I was called for an opening on Wednesday of the same week. Temperature taken upon entering and Less than a 5 minute wait in the waiting room. Friendly staff from the desk to the treatment and back to the desk. No complaints here! (And that is a pleasure because I am experiencing many people a Little on the rude/abrupt side lately since all the COVID restrictions.)

Dr. Jake Carriere certainly knows his trade. I had a tooth implant procedure from extraction to installation of the new tooth. It was flawless. It could not have gone any better. He is very knowledgeable and his assistants are also very knowledgeable and kind.

Hands down the best dental experience! Great staff and service, state of the art technology and actually looking forward to going back!

Edit: so I was back again for another appointment and met with some different staff I hadn’t encountered in previous visits and they too share the same welcome and professionalism as the rest. Dr sing was so gentle and very nice felt no pain when she drilled my teeth and the lady that cleaned my teeth was excellent

I'm not a regular patient but when I had an emergency situation I was taken in within 24 hours for treatment. Dr. Singh spoke in a comforting manner as she explained every step of treatment she was taking throughout the appointment. I highly recommend her and this Dental office.

I recently visited Main Street Dental in Shelbourne. The team was very helpful and accommodating to my situation. I would recommend this clinic for anyone looking for a friendly atmosphere combined with a professional knowledge staff. I drove 2hrs for my appointment and I will definitely make the trip over and over for the excellent service I received while I was there.

We love this dental office. All the hygienists and staff are so friendly and nice. They do an excellent job especially with kids. They give text reminders for appointments so you never forget. They direct bill our insurance. They are very clean and professional. A true family friendly practice. My 3 year old son went for his first visit and had so much fun he can’t wait to brush his teeth now and go back and see Dr. Jake and the team.

New to area, and was looking for a new dentist. Im 57 years old and brush twice daily, and have to admit I don’t floss nearly enough. But due to the pandemic my regular visits to the dentist have obviously been delayed. My goal was to go in for a long overdue cleaning and checkup. But I never made it to the cleaning unfortunately. I told the dental hygienists that I have sensitive gums and I am anxious about nerve pain. Well 20 minutes of measuring every tooth in my head 6 times by digging around my gums. I said stop. Let’s just do the cleaning. She explained that I was not feeling pain in my nerves as nerves are not exposed and that if she did not dig under my gums she would be derelict in her duties. Listed a long list of health reasons she needed to continue the “proper intensive process”. Well I said no we are done. In 57 years I’ve had many cleaning procedures and NO pain and discomfort and anxiety are real and the patient should be able to dictate his or her level of comfort. Without getting lectured and talked down to.
I’m sure I’m not alone in not enjoying the dentist, and I know I’m not alone with the anxiety of that feeling of “ hitting that nerve “.
I’m hoping to find a new dentist in the area that understands this and has compassion and not make a trip to the dentist painful or degrading.
To the hygienist I’m sure you are very thoroughly trained. But you should really listen to your patient, not dismiss their pain or their level of comfort.

I got a root canal done earlier this year at a different Dentist, unfortunately he retired so i came over to Main Street Family Dental, they have been the most helpful throughout the whole process, i got my tooth extracted and am doing way better now. I give them a 10/10, thanks to Dr. Singh and her staff.

We have been going here for years due to the great care from this clinic. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, with no unnecessary procedures pushed. Our visits always seem to be done efficiently and quickly. Excellent and patient with kids, which is a huge plus. My daughter loved her last visit here.

Once again, just last week, I urgently needed help for my aching jaw!
From the moment they took my call, they could not have been more helpful, empathetic and friendly!
The team prescribed antibiotics and booked me in for first thing Monday morning. The antibiotics helped tremendously with tolerating the severe pain.
On Monday, Dr Carrier had xrays done, showed me the problem and proceeded to expertly fix it with a root canal.
Each member of the team does their job with friendliness and precision.what more could i ask for?

Broke my Crown Monday night and was in pain I called first thing in the morning and they saw me by noon. I drive over an hour to come to main Street dental for the last 38 years because they actually care. I can't think of one staff member that isn't wonderful from the time you reach the front desk on. My entire family drives to Shelburne pass probably 100 different dental offices because you just can't beat mainstream dental.

First experience with this dentist. Used web page to request an appointment ASAP due to some tooth pain. I got a phone call shortly after submitting, and they were able to get me in the next day. Quick and easy appointment, and have a follow-up scheduled already.
