Went here for years and had no issues. Sometimes it took a long time to get an appointment but whatever, that's the state of our healthcare system.

However my family doctor suddenly retired last fall and both I and my sister never received any communication from the clinic that our family doctor of over a decade left the practice.

To make matters worse, I called in January to make an appointment (not knowing she retired) and was told my doctor was on medical leave and to call back in a month or two, no mention of her having retired.

I called back in March and successfully made an appointment with my doctor. I called back a few days later just to ask a question for clarification and when they went to look up my appointment it didn't exist and I was finally told she retired last year.

I was absolutely dumbfounded and the person on the phone sounded just as confused as I was and when I asked how I was able to make an appointment or why I never got any notice that she retired she just said "you should've gotten an email that notified you she retired" and that was it. Then they told me they no longer accept walk-ins.

If I didn't call back I would've wasted my time waking up early just to go to the clinic and been told my appointment didn't exist, so thank god I did.

The absolute incompetence and ineptitude required for all of these things to happen, especially in the order that it happened, is staggering.

NOT A WALK IN CLINIC! Would be nice if it didn’t say walk in clinic right on the name board for them to say they no longer take walk ins. Only family doctor patients are accepted. Update please.

TERRIBLE SERVICE, waited for 1 hour no help at all, I feel this clinic is racist as they cater to their own cultural people. Seen people come in and go out. Be aware, it's better to go to another walk in clinic. What a shame! If I could put a minus sign it would definitely be.

I'd give it a 0 if I could. Waited 2.5 hours to see a Doctor. It's a shorter wait at hospitals.

Just checked in for my appointment and the reception had to announce out loud the reason for my visit. To be clear it was not for anything flu related. What is up with the medical places just blurting out sensitive information.

As a walk in I just waited more than 2.30 hrs. They don’t follow any order or any respect for kids

Will try never to go there again even though my family doctor is there. It was fine 9 years ago but but lately they have been rude and disorganized. Hoping to find a new family doctor.

I don’t understand how this place can be called a walk in clinic but is always booked with appointments.

The staff at reception were helpful and friendly.

Dr Manjeet Prewal was truly wonderful. He took time to talk to my son patiently, he answered all our questions, and was very personable. He was efficient but did not rush us at all. I wish he was accepting patients but I will happily return on days he is working. If you want to see a walk in doctor I'd advise coming early.

The pharmacy next door was great as well.

Had a really good experience with this clinic. Went in the morning during the week and my son was seen pretty quickly as there were only 2 people in front of us. Dr. Chowdhury is such a kind and caring doctor, she even called and followed up to see how he was doing. The nurse was also very good and helpful.

I don't know how they get 3 stars. Shud have been negative rating. Went to receptionist n she simply said no doctor available. Well if no doctor available why are u even open just shut it & go home atleast save people's time. Come on weekdays no doctor available come on weekends no appointment available. Why are they called walk ins when nobody takes a walk in patient!

I just went in today and when I asked to see the doctor, the receptionist made me feel dumb about asking in the first place. So customer service is definitely not good and I’m not sure why it’s called a walk in clinic if there’s no doctor when we walk in…. There’s another clinic across that has nice a receptionist and takes patients in so I recommend to go to that one instead.

I went to this walk in clinic but they have no doctors. Apparently they are working from home? How exactly does that work?

The service here has significantly declined over the last 5 years - pre pandemic and current review:

1. The reception hold times exceed 5 minutes.
2. They do not sound helpful and rush you while trying to book an appointment or ask questions.
3. The visits by phone are not completed at the agreed upon time.
4. The doctor is condescending and rude. I brought this to her attention and instead of apologizing or discussing it, I was advised to find a new doctor.
** I have been a patient of this clinic and this doctor for over 15 years and my entire family is treated here.
I expected better from them and am sorely disappointed to be asked to find a new doctor when I have an extensive medical history and am uncomfortable finding a new doctor in the midst of a pandemic.

My doctor is great but unfortunately when you call to make an appointment the staff at the reception is horrible and very impolite. They talk to you like they are some sort of superior authority and you are beneath them.

Very clean office, professional staff, the dentist and the assistant are a great team. The hygienist is very kind and so amazing. Highly recommended.

I will say I am a little surprised by the reviews. It's a walk-in clinic, you must anticipate a significant wait, just like going to the hospital!
I found everyone to be awesome, from reception to the nurses to the doctors. Everything I needed was done ON site which is awesome as well. I asked when i arrived how many people were ahead of me and they told me so i could gauge the time properly. I was probably in and out in an hour maybe and hour & a half. I was very pleased, I will definitely be back!

Very Inefficient staff.was there yesterday jan26,2020. I was there at 2: 05. There hours r upto 3. I Was waiting to talk to receptionist holding my 19 months old child. After few mins she looked up nd without saying hello. She said we are closed. I asked her 3 times what time u take your last patient. She didnt reply on that nd kept on doin her work

I contacted them 1hr 30min before closing on a Sunday to confirm that I could still come in and they told me as long as I get there 1hr to 45 min before closing that it's fine. So drove 30 min to get there and once I got there, got told that doctor closed and not taking any more patients.
I told her that I called and told me it was fine to come.
After complaining that it was unacceptable and to ask doctor as I was already in on friday, she said she will ask doctor. Waited 30 min to be told that no doctor cannot see me.

Receptionists always on their cell phones, wait times are super long and the doctors either try to rush you out of there as quickly as possible (and make you practically beg for a requisition) or are young and inexperienced. Better for you to go to a hospital ER than this place. You've been warned!

I have seen Dr. Periwal for walk in many times and have the utmost respect for him. He cares and sees his patients with purity and guides them with the wellness needed. I can't express how thankful I am that Main Street Medical Centre has a Doctor that takes care of his patients with the utmost respect! Thank you Dr. Periwal!

My doctor is great, but the office staff is absolutely horrible. They have zero willingness to help patients, if someone is having an urgent medical need, their attitude is pretty much "meh.oh well.who cares? " You can call 4 times for something urgent, you'll still get nowhere. I can't stress enough how little these people care. I deal with a veterinary clinic for my pets with staff who show 100 times more concern for patient welfare.
Disgusting.and no matter how much I like my doctor, I think I'll need to find another clinic. I don't trust my health to people who are so lacking in empathy and willingness to help.

Dr. Prewal is a very good doctor. He is knowledgeable, honest and has a very thoughtful disposition. As his patient I feel safe, informed, and in the hands of a caring proactive MD. Equally, I find his staff to be courteous, professional and diligent when interacting with me.

I've been with Dr prewal for a while now I was desperate I had developed some very hard issues to deal with and felt lost I moved and the Dr I had I felt misdiagnosed me or just didn't take the time to understand. Dr prewal is absolutely the best Dr I have had and I am very very lucky to have found him thanks to my fiance.who has been with him a few years and I watched him how he chanhed her life and now mine. I don't mind the wait it is well worth it because he cares enough to spend time with you. I don't feel rushed I know he's truly listening.thank u for your amazing care Dr prewal u are appreciated

Avoid at all cost if u can if u really have no other choice call ahead and make sure they are open they open and close at their own discretion they have zero respect for people’s time i went by today at 11am and online it says they close at 3pm and they were closed at 11am not the first time. This place is a joke and if someone runs a clinic like this than do ur self a huge favour and don’t let them diagnose u medically they clearly are not qualified.

First, people are complaining about the receptionist. It is not the receptionist fault that the wait times are too long. I also saw somebody say that they just tap all day. They don't. They do there jobs like they are supposed to. So you can stop complaining.
I never have to wait over 10 minutes to see a doctor, even as a walk in patient. Anyways, this is a great clinic! Don't take any of these negative reviews.

I’ve just contacted them via phone and inquired for TB testing due to my employment requirement. Medical office assistant quotes incorrect pricing and there was a 5 dollar discrepancy when I tried to clarify their supposed pricing. Kept increasing the price when none of her numbers added up to the final price as she attempted to breakdown their costs when “they do not add taxes or hidden costs”

The doctors are nice and wait time is ridiculous. And staff are the rudest I have ever seen. All the doctors are professional.

I wish I could've given a 0 for the service. We got blood work done and to get a copy of the reports for own documentation, they charged us 1.50$ for EACH PAGE. Each sheet had literally nothing on it and charged us for 4 pages. I feel like this is the ONE clinic that charges a patient to get a copy of their own record, we are not asking for someother's records.

Called around for female doctors in Brampton open on a Sunday. Its rare and thankfully we found this clinic. Waiting area has high ceilings and seemed pretty clean. Waited about 45 mins to see a doctor. Dr. Saly Makeal was super friendly and made an understably awkward visit into an informative comfortable experience. Was able to obtain medication right next door. Straightforward. So grateful we went here!

Just to see the Doctor for my mothers medication, We waited for 3 hours. So annoying especially when you have other things to do.
They need to improve

I've only been here twice, once on a Wednesday afternoon where I waited an hour and a half, and once on a Saturday morning where I hardly waited 5 minutes. Regardless of the wait times, it was a great experience (as great as one can be at a clinic anyways). Dr. Chowdhury was quick, efficient, and very kind. I would 100% recommend her as well as the clinic overall.

Dumb receptionist have no clue at all.they just sit there to yap around all day. Stay away from this place unless you have whole day to visit doctor who will spend 2 mins to tell you to get off the counter medicine.
