Found Mai online, and based on the reviews, took a chance and dropped off my wedding gown for alterations. I needed the bust, and waist taken in, the dress bustled and hem shortened, as well as some of the applique sewn on the front to make it a bit less revealing. My wedding dress had a long train and many layers. I only had two months before my wedding and Mai completed all the alterations beautifully, on time, and at a fraction of the quote I received from other wedding store seamstresses. I would trust Mai to alter anything with care, and am truly thankful I found her. Thank you Mai!

I had all my alterations done at Mai's Bridal. I brought in my wedding dress, 4 bridesmaid's dresses and 2 suits. Mai did a wonderful job at altering everything perfectly and my bridal party were very impressed with the work. She worked within the timeline needed and I could not ask for more. I stumbled upon Mai's bridal shop by total chance and I am so thankful I did! I was a minimalist bride and I was really looking for a place that wouldn't charge me more than what I paid for my dress (I needed it taken in at the bust and shortened a little). Her pricing was super fair and she worked very quickly.

I put off my dress alteration for a while and with only 3 weeks until my wedding she managed to finish my dress with time to spare! She gave me really awesome advise and she even gave my mom (and fellow sewing enthusiast) a free sewing pattern while they were waiting for me.

Mai recently helped me with alterations to my wedding dress. The original seamstress from the bridal shop unexpectedly wasn’t able to complete the alterations and Mai was able to step in and do everything in two weeks. She did a great job, was very friendly, and charged a very reasonable price. I will go back to Mai for any other alterations I need.

Mai saved my wedding dress. She is seriously an alterations god. I bought my wedding dress prepandemic for a wedding that was supposed to take place in 2020.

Fast forward 2 yrs post covid a lot has changed in 2yrs and i wanted something else for my wedding dress. I brought it to this other lady and she basically ruined my dress.

I contacted MAI's bridal and came in for a consult. Mai was very professional, kind and most importantly, very experienced in her field of work. Without even seeing the work, i left there confident that my dress was in good hands.

A week later i reunited with my dress.for the first time, i got that wow moment with my dress.

From little alterations that Mai did on my 2nd reception dress to big alterations on my wedding dress, Mai exicuted and provided me with products i was very very satisfied with.

Upon each visit, Mai greets you with a smile and is always ready to take on new clients - even though she always has several projects on the go. She is creative, smart, thoughtful, considerate, fast and fair. Whatever it may be, wedding dresses altered, pants taken in, skirts hemmed, clothing made. She does it all. 100% the best in Toronto. A hidden gem.

I recently went to Mai’s Bridal to get my bridesmaid dress altered as it didn’t fit. Mai was able to make the dress into a corset back and now it fits and looks beautiful! The turnaround time was very quick and the results were flawless. Thank you so much for fixing the dress so I didn’t have to buy a new one! Mai is a super talented seamstress. She puts so much care into the work she does. She made my prom dress years ago, and when I got married, she did a bunch of alternations on all my dresses (wedding, traditional cheongsam and formal evening) and bridesmaid dresses. I was so happy with everything. Mai only does excellent, quality work.

Mai is so talented and reminds me of my mom sometimes.
She did the alterations for my wedding dress and it fit beautifully on my special day. She has also saved me lots of $$$ in alterations because she truly does all the details to perfection.
