This is my go-to place for haircuts or styling. The staff is quite friendly. The ambience is good, and they use good quality products, affordable prices and an experienced team. I have been a regular here for two years.

Christian was very talented and confident. I was very pleased with the result (root touch up and trim) the blow drying was lovely. I went back the next week for a wash and blow dry because everyone commented how nice it was.

The people who work here are very talented and professional. The owner works hard to make sure your experience is pleasant.

I got my hair done by Christian, who is the owner and my hair turned out barely different. In the past, I got balayage and I felt like I got a new hairdo! This time, I got baby highlights which he suggested, paid $280 plus tip and there is barely a difference. People cant even tell I got my hair done. There is a contrast from the blonde and black. It’s not blended well. I called and they wanted to charge me $160 on top of the $280 so my hair could finally look like it was dyed.

They knew I traveled from Toronto as well. They just said there’s 10 people on the waiting list and to get it done by someone else in Toronto.

Maison fritz in Stoney Creek is much better.

My worst nightmare of paying so much money too look no difference came true. Mind you, I saved up this money with time and get so excited every time. Such a let down to waste so much money.

I'm completely satisfied with my new haircut. Angel did a commendable job. I truly appreciate it. I was struggling with my hair for a long time. My hair stylist Angel did exactly how I wanted. Thank you so much. Will visit again for sure. ️

I’ve been there twice now and seen Katharina. I’ve been really happy with the outcome both times, nice atmosphere and the staff is very professional.

I chopped off 11 inches of hair here last week. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish and Kate was such a lovely individual. She made me feel so comfortable and really beautiful after the cut. Thank you!

The owner should consider who he hires as staff, the receptionist is really rude and unprofessional, absolutely the most unpleasant experience ever dealing with her.

Brittany did my colour and cut and I am thrilled with the job she did. I have gone to the same hairstylist for years so having someone new was very scary. I can not say enough about her personality and talents as a hairstylist.

When I moved to Hamilton a coworker recommended Maison Fritz & to see Molly. I have to say I was impressed on appointment #1 and will never go anywhere else! Molly is honest about my hair, gives great suggestions and is just.the best! I love going & can't wait to get back to see the team very soon.

I tried my luck and called for a last minute appointment. Low and behold, Molly had a cancellation and would be able to take me. IM SO BEYOND GRATEFUL SHE DID. The whole time in her chair, she was lovely and attentive. I left her chair feeling like a million dollars. A brand new woman! It's no wonder she is booked until october! Highly recommend, just an absolute pleasure.

I was served by Kate Turner. She has two years experience. My hair was dyed and blow dried. She has a very light touch when working on your hair. Very pleasant woman.

This was my second time at this salon. I had Molly and I am very happy with the service. She is very talented. I had a colour with highlights and cut. My perm and previous colour makes it difficult to get what wanted but she made it perfectly. Cut and style right on. Love it! Thank you Molly!

Finally found a great hairdresser after moving to Hamilton a year and a half ago and getting 3 other bad haircuts at different places to Angel is my hairdresser there.and she is great

Christian is a very good listener to what I want with regards to hair colour and hair styles. I am fussy, and he tries very hard to meet my needs. I have gone to him for many years and will continue to do so.

I just had my hair cut here with Sarah. It was a great experience! Sarah was amazing and made my hair just like the picture I showed her. I've tried a lot of different hair salons in the past, trying to find a decently priced one that gives me the haircut I want. While Maison Fritz was a bit more expensive than I usually prefer for a haircut, I definitely got my money's worth with the high quality service here!

Maison Fritz has 2 locations. The one in University Plaza is fantastic, but since Molly Mayo moved over to the Main West location I've been even happier with getting a haircut. Molly does a fabulous job, but also the space is more open, brighter, cleaner and more efficient. The staff is polite and I've never had to wait for my haircut.

Claire is amazing. Wow. So amazing. 10/10 recommend to all friends and family. She makes my girlfriend so much prettier

Me and my daughter go to Maizon Fritz for more than 15 years and it's the best place to be. We both have a lot of hair and it's not easy to work with, but Christian always knows what to do with it) All other hair dressers are great too. If you want great quality, then it's a place to go!

I have been going to this hair salon for over 5 years. I have had two stylists within that time period. Both are amazing! I highly recommend

Took my 12 yr old son there. He was nervous because of past experience. Christian was his stylist. He was awesome. Did what wanted plus more. Now my son who lives in Richmond Hill won't let his father take him anywhere. He only lets christian cut it. Sarah cut once cuz christian couldn't he loved her to.
Either one is only ones can do.
Sarah put designs in my hair and was remarkable. Best designs.

Went in because of the high ratings and ended up having my hair fried by the colourist and hacked off. I brought in a picture of what I wanted, the colourist insisted my hair would not go that light and did not pay attention to my warning that my hair takes bleach easily and pulls yellow. She talked me down from platinum to caramel blonde and did not follow the picture or my instructions. After first hacking off 6 inches of damaged hair (I expected that part) she then proceeded to leave the bleach on too long for my hair without the right toner for going so light and burnt my hair and needed to cut off even more to save it. I went in with hair halfway down my back and came out with a dull bob, no swing or movement, with big yellow stripes. I looked like Taylor Swift playing Bride of Frankenstein mated with Pepe LePew and was charged nearly $180, $50 more than I was quoted based on the picture. I could have done a better job at home with a $15 box of Feria and kitchen scissors. In fact I have, and will go back to doing so.

Claire cut my hair, I showed her a picture of what I wanted and ended up leaving with what looks like a buzzcut because she cut off so much off the top. The sides were not even fully blended in and I had to get it fixed from a friend. I paid $30 for something I could have done myself at home. Now I have to wait for my hair to completely grow back to the original length. Will never be coming back here again, will call in to hopefully get a refund. Would not recommend this place.
