Another amazing appointment! Krenare did an amazing job with the little nails I have and made them sparkle!

Ive called multiple times, emailed them, left voicemails, and im basically begging them to take my money and its impossible to get in touch with someone to answer a question before making my purchase. How did ghosting customers who are trying to spend money at your business become a smart business strategy?

First time I went there by myself it was fantastic- 5 stars. Great service and my nails looked nice.so I recommended them to my friend so we could go together. Second time, not so good at all unfortunately -1 star. We were 6 mins late (i tried calling when i knew we were running kate to notify them) and waited in line to talk to the concierge for 10 minutes which made us 16 minutes late. We apologized profusely to hear that because we were 16 minutes late only one person could get their mani pedi done, so I offered to get just a pedi as my friend couldn't get any service at all. They apparently were waiting for a 8 person party that was going to get services done so they couldn't spare anyone at all. I got my pedicure done and they then said they don't have any dryers in the store so I had to wait for 45 min to air dry my feet.

Whilst that was happening, the concierge came back slightly more polite (she had given us attitude for being 16 min late earlier) and said my friend could get her manicure as the important 8 person party did a no show and they were willing to finally help us. We politely declined and just left after my feet finally air dried. Fun times.

It's honestly a shame the service changed so dramatically from 5 to 1 star. I was rather embarrassed that I took my friend to a place I thought was fantastic only to get the worse service I have gotten from a nail spa ever.

I wouldn't give this place more than a three star rating. I expected much more considering how flashy their website and instagram is. I went in for a simple manicure, and asked for a chrome finish. I was then told by the front desk person that they can't accommodate that because it'll take too long and I should have requested it when I booked the appointment. I told them from previous experiences it takes about 5 minutes. She said they need at least 20. I didn't argue because I did arrive about 5 minutes late, but I am just sharing my experience. My nail tech was sweet and ended up using a sparkling clear nail polish on top of the colour which gives it a 'similar' effect. I wasn't offered any drinks, coffee, nothing. My coat was not hung up, but instead tossed beside me on the chair. I know it seems like these are minor things (which they are) but they do impact the overall experience when I compare it to other salons with much more affordable prices and better service. The manicure itself was average at best - I had to get it re-done less than two weeks later because it started peeling off. It was also VERY thick and looked kinda bumpy. Overall, was it worth the $86 dollars? Not really.

My new favourite salon! The interior is so so cute and aesthetic. The staff are all helpful, and the drinks look great. I got a haircut and blow out done with Lan, and I couldn’t have been happier with the results! Looking forward to my next appointment.

Her Majesty wouldn't be pleased! I am truly disappointed! I was expecting an above average experience given the price but I couldn't have been more wrong! First the polish choices were limited and then there was the most uncomfortable seating and they were diluting the polish with acetone as they were working on my manu-pedi. As soon as I saw that I knew the polish was old and the polish wouldn't last. Sure enough. Pedicure chipped after 2 days! That's just unacceptable! Especially given the prices! I could have had 4 mani-pedis for the same price elsewhere with much better results. I would not recommend!

Easy check in. Got a standard pedicure and the team had great service - gave me a pillow for my back/chair, checked in on how the pressure was during the massage. Great service. Highly recommend.

Very adorable place. Great for a group a ladies. I went with 2 other ladies celebrating a birthday. We were scheduled for a 45 min signature pedicure. Enjoyed a bottle of sparkling rose while we were being treated. I do not know if my technician was new? But my pedicure took and extra 30 mins vs my other 2 friends. I barely received any buffing, detox soak, exfoliation, heel refining, moisturizing foot and leg massage, because she spent 90% of the time cutting my nails and cuticle care. Technician was approached more then once, and told to speed up the process. We ended up having to leave for a dinner reservation, and my nails were not even dry yet. Unfortunately not very satisfied with my services.

It was amazing. The design was perfect! Beautiful, peaceful and chic. So I had the best time there. It’s wonderful for relaxing and enjoyment. The services and cocktails are a little expensive, but it worths.

This is my favourite place to come in Toronto! Always a great experience, my nails always look amazing & the drinks are so good!

My friend and I got naked pedis and champagne papi cocktails, it was a really awesome experience. The decor was great and the staff were very friendly. Would definitely recommend if you want a treat.

I had the pleasure of Brees services today for a pedicure. No complaining from me. She is polite and very conscientious! Knows what she is doing and it was a pleasure to meet her. My first time today here and what a treat it was. Very clean and organized as well, from beginning to end. Sunny and bright was an added pleasure. Thank you very much.

I’ve had the most amazing experience today. Alex is very professional and so nice, her expertise is really valuable. You can trust her and you’ll get exactly what you came for (and if you hesitate, don’t even worry, she’ll give you the best advices) You’ll spend a relaxing moment in a very good company. I’ll definitely book with her again!

Review on Yorkville location: I had high expectations on this location 'cos I frequently see it on IG all hyped up! But it was a big disappointment for me! The place is nice but staff were not that friendly to us from the time we walked in and walked out except Cindy, who did my Mom Rosita's pedi & mani. I watched Cindy do mani, pedi and massage on my Mom and I could see the professionalism. My Mom really enjoyed and was very happy with Cindy's excellent service and I appreciate her friendliness since she was the only person who smiled and talked to us. Even my Mom who is not usually observant said "The people at King West location are better! " They smiled as they walked by us and asked us if we are ok here and there. " At King location - I just mentioned that it's my Mom's bday and they handed/presented Mom a Birthday Card with our drinks which made Mom feel special. That extra effort/small thing touched Mom's heart. At Yorkville location - they just left the card on the table and did not even write her name on her bday card. I requested a card this time 'cos I saw how it made Mom happy last time at King location. I don't remember the bartender serving our drinks twice smiled at us.

As for my pedi, Martyna did not do a good job. She didn't even talk to me during the service except the initial hello. The one toe that I asked her to take care of hurt when I got home. I asked her about it 'cos I can still feel the ingrown nail and Martyna said that they don't have a tool for it. It's more like she probably doesn't have the ability to do it. I mean, I have my own/home nipper, their tool looks better than mine and I am able to do it (I make an effort to do my own mani/pedi as I can't afford nail salon all the time.) So, I would have to fix it myself today. The foot massage wasn't satisfactory. Then a different lady named Irem did my mani and it was worse than pedi. It was the quickest manicure I've ever had ever! She did very little effort and when I asked, she said I had little cuticle. That is soooo NOT the mani service I know! It just seem like they lack experience. This location is not desirable for me to go back to. We had much better experience in the King St. West location.

I was having quite a miserable evening last night, and booked myself a blowout at Majesty's Pleasure in Yorkville. This morning Kevin gave me a fantastic treatment. From the hair wash with luxurious scalp massage to the patience brushing/untangling my hair to the actual relaxing, almost meditative blow out - I literally had my eyes closer. I booked the blow out to be pampered and indeed from entrance to exit it was quite a treat. Thank you Kevin! If I could give you more stars I would.

Always a great experience here. I love the space and the fact that you can sip cocktails (the espresso martini is delicious!) during the appointment. Bree did a fantastic job both times; she’s super attentive and sweet. Despite the fact I live out of town, I won’t be going anywhere else!

Such an enjoyable experience! From the moment you walk in you feel relaxed. The customer service was amazing, I had Shin from the yorkville location. Had a bubbly and was really happy with my nails. Pricey but Ive had so many dissapointing nail experiences in the past at least I paid for something I was happy with. Would 10/10 recommend.

I am a bit disappointed by the place. The methods they use for shellac removal is very old, the color selection is limited, and their pedicure services is very much mediocre. It is a good place if you are in high school and want to have a fun night with your gals once but definitely not a regular nail salon to go to for working professionals. For this level of service, I believe they are over priced as well. I’m happy that I tried it once but wont go there again for sure and do not recommend it.

The place is very nice. I enjoyed the service and atmosphere. However, the work quality is not very good. My gel started to pill off after a week after the appointment.
I always wear gel for at least 2-2.5 weeks without any problems. When I called and asked how the situation can be fixed, the receptionist told me that 1,5-2 weeks is the max time for gel to stay on the nails. I mean it’s not bad, but I do not think the price worths it.

It was my first time at Her Majesty’s Pleasure. I loved the atmosphere, interior design, service and the espresso martini I ordered. However, I noticed some of the staff members don’t look very happy. One young girl in particular looked like she was crying. Yes they were all wearing masks but you can tell if someone is smiling through their eyes. Other than that, I will be back

This was probably the worst pedicure I have had to date. Paid $70 for essentially a cuticle clean up and polish change, they did not exfoliate, there was no heel “refining” and there was barely any massaging of my feet. Even my husband saw my feet the next day and asked “didn’t you get a pedicure yesterday? ” …that’s how bad it was. Do not recommend.

The moment I walked into here I felt like I was in another world! The service was absolutely amazing, the variety and product quality is HIGH, the cocktails are amazingly made, they cater to absolutely everyone, and it's a good time whether you go alone, as a date, or with friends/family. Thank you for making my Friday afternoon awesome!

I adored the interior design! However, I received awful service for the price I paid! I wasn't even allowed to use the nail dryer! Despite the fact that I requested it since I knew it wouldn't survive without it, she refused! Also, why would I go to a salon and not use a nail dryer as if i was doing it myself at home? I couldn't understand it! I did my hair the same day, but Kevin's olaplex treatment was fantastic. My sister had a similar problem with her nails.

Had a wonderful time there.everyone was very welcoming and warm.the massage I got was heavenly. 1000% will return!

As always I had a fabulous experience. Nooshin did an amazing signature manicure and pedicure. I would highly recommend getting your nails done here.

Wanted to come here with my bridesmaids so we called to make a booking.the following happened: 1) we put a date on hold for the group & were assured that our date would be on hold while we filled out some stuff via email (given that we weren’t allowed via telephone), turns out they gave our date away, and basically said “too bad” 2) we had to fill out a contract to get our nails done because we were a group (?) 3) we were told that there could only be one final bill and it had to be paid by the credit card on hold when we made the booking - when we went to pay at the end of the service we were told each girl could have paid individually. 4) we specifically indicated over the phone that I needed gel overlay + shellac and they said that was fine, when we got there, they didn’t have the tools to take of my shellac properly or to do overlay refill.

Frankly, this place is very much overpriced and delivers a disappointing experience. Wouldn’t recommend.

The place is beautiful, well kept and very clean! Staff walked around to ensure everyone had what they needed and that your services were being enjoyed! Would 100% recommend going here and will be back for sure!

Update: a friend I went with to this appointment actually reached out to Majesty's Pleasure without telling me and let them know of the situation, and Majesty's Pleasure issued a refund to me. I appreciate the customer service from the team and have changed my review from one star to three.

Got gel nails done for my wedding, chipped after two days. Terrible quality and now I have a chipped nail for my wedding (no time to get them re-done as it's a destination wedding).

Really unhappy I paid $100 to have chipped nails for my wedding day. Avoid.

I had pedicures at this place horrible I got infection on my big toe very bad still didn’t get better it’s been 2 months I cloud not walk for 2 weeks using antibiotics

I visited the Yorkville location of which there were signs everywhere to let me know where I was going (super helpful:) ). From the moment I came off the elevator the reception was friendly and warm. The space and atmosphere are beautiful and very luxurious. Like you know that you are about to have an amazing experience. My esthetician who did my mani and pedi was so sweet with the hands of angels when it came time for the massage. The bartender was very knowledgeable and kept the drinks flowing. Great experience and will definitely be coming again!

Absolute amazing! Beautiful place, comfortable, staff are SO nice and polite. My best friend and I went for massages. Both the ladies (I know my masseuse’s name was Nikki), they were both AMAZING! I was so relaxed, the pressure was just perfect, the heated beds and the hot towels felt GREAT! I would for sure recommend this spa to anyone and I will for sure be going back.

Every time I come here it is an amazing experience! Their staff is so welcoming and the nail artists do an amazing job. It’s a very comfortable and relaxing space and both locations are absolutely beautiful (I love their Yorkville location). I can’t wait to come back!

I Finally got the chance to go to her majestys, I’m always living though their Instagram and that’s where I found Shamara She’s such a talented hairstylist who actually takes the time to educate you on taking care of your hair and tells you what she’s doing and why and she pretty much had an answer for all my random questions. I had both my highlights and cut done with her, we had such a fun chat she really makes you feel like you have known her forever. I live in Barrie and normally only see my hairstylist here but I will be back just for her. I would also want to mention that yes, this place is as dreamy as it looks on Instagram.

The place is absolutely gorgeous & great view. Everyone is Friendly and accommodating. Christina is always amazing.

I do like the fact they are welcoming when you get there, lovely decor. But the appointment I had with the signature manicure was awful. I didn’t know they don’t use the drill so they use acetone for my gel nails which really destroy the nail condition, and the nail esthetician actually cut my skin and made it bleed.
They also don’t have a nature dryer so if you don’t do the gel nail you’re screwed for waiting there forever.
When I need to get a nail fixed because it didn’t dried completely, the stylist is up for another appt and didn’t want to work on mine. I did eventually have someone else to fill in but it was a stressful experience. I wish I could like it, but I can definitely get better quality and much much cheaper nails elsewhere. Never again.

Edit: my nails began chipping 3 days after the manicure and we used the 7 day without chipping polish.

I received a signature manicure and pedicure, it was fabulous! Please note, they do not have hand or foot driers so if you're looking for a quick and try shellac instead. Everyone was really nice and attentive.

One thing I did not like is their lack of sustainability practices. After each service, an esthetician handed me a piece of paper with their name, service and your name in order to give them gratuity when you can automatically tip them on the machine. 50 guests per day = 100 pieces of paper wasted. That's over 3000 pieces of paper wasted in a month! Since we are in a client crisis, I feel clients like myself would spend more money at places where sustainability is implemented. Also reusable slippers instead of disposable would be nice as well.

Other than that I had a splendid time! The space is every Instagram photographers dream

Always such great service, and the quality of the gel manicures are impeccable. Highly recommend a visit to kick back and relax with friends. Bartenders are also always hospitable.

Super pretentious atmosphere and a mediocre manicure at best. Not worth the $60 (PLUS having to pay $5 for a drink). My 2 girlfriends and I were seated but 1 of them waited over 10 minutes without a technician coming to start and no communication. We had to ask where the 3rd technician was and only then were we informed they were running late, along with a half hearted apology.

Just pay what you normally pay at your usual spot, where the technicians care way more and you get a way better mani. Considering the price, there was much left to be desired in terms of service and quality.

Highly recommend. Had a shellac manicure and while more expensive than many other places, the environment is stunning and the service attentive and detailed. Have already booked my next appointment! Go with girlfriends and enjoy some bubbles or coffees as well!

My friend and I won a manicure here. It was a lovely experience from booking to exiting. We were treated with a lot of care and the employees were very friendly. The space is also really fun and feminine. I would definitely come back and recommend it to other friends!

I've had my nails and hair done here and it's been an exceptional experience every time. Each staff person is welcoming and happy to help or answer any questions. The space is beautiful and comfortable to lounge in. Cocktails and other drinks are delicious. The attention to detail and customer service is outstanding. Special shout out to Kevin for amazing cut and colour work. Can't wait to come back!

My boyfriend treated me to two spa treatments at Majesty's Pleasure for Valentines Day. I was there Saturday, February 15th.

My appointment was for 10;30, and the lady on the phone told my boyfriend to get me there 15 minutes early. This was a good suggestion as the parking would be tight had i driven myself. It was easy to find the spa as the signage was very helpful! The extra 15 minutes also assures you have enough time to get upstairs comfortably and don't feel rushed.

When I got inside the spa I was a little overwhelmed. The elevator opens up into a large room. I was unsure where to go as it was my first time there, so unfortunately I walked around and looked a little lost for the first two minutes. This definitely spiked my anxiety. Finally, a woman appeared by the cash-out area and I told her I had an appointment for 10;30. She asked me to wait at the bar and my nail technician would be over shortly.

The bartender/barista was very kind and efficient, however, they seemed to be out of stock on quite a few items I was interested in, so that was disappointing. I settled for a matcha almond milk latte that was 'meh'. It kept settling (and once my appointment started I couldn't stir).

My nail tech came over soon after and led me to a bench seat with table. I found it comfortable and I wasn't crowded near anyone else, which was very nice. She was very quite, we didn't have conversation, which I personally enjoyed. She did a fabulous job on my manicure, an absolute 10/10. I only knew who name because it was left on the little sheet they gave me. Thank you, Snow, for the great manicure!

After my nail appointment I was scheduled for an express facial and shoulder massage. This was FANTASTIC. I was SO pleased that the esthetician was using Fresh facial cleanser and Herbivore oils. I used to work at Sephora and these are products I already knew and loved. Unfortunately, my esthetician didn't mention her name. Her massage was perfect and so was my facial. Thank you!

Overall, I had a very relaxing day. I was pleased with the decor, the environment, and most importantly the services. About half way through my nail appointment a lady who appeared to be a manager came in, and it seemed like things were flowing very well after that. She had dark shoulder length hair and an accent.she was very attentive and hardworking. I believe my confusion at the beginning was due to the spa not being fully staffed yet and it being my first time there. If you're confused, sit at the bar and someone will point you in the right direction!

Loved the yorkville location! So cozy and chic and totally different vibe than the king west location.

Super easy to book multiple appointments at the same time such as for a group. We had an appointment recently as a surprise for a friend’s birthday. The women who did our nails were super nice and welcome to conversation. Very friendly and fun vibe. The drinks were also amazing and intriguing. I had prickly in pink which was watermelon, tequila and had some sort of hot pepper incorporated in. Tasted fantastic! I ended up getting the naked manicure which helped to clean up my terrible nails. The woman doing my nails was super nice and didn’t judge the state of my bitten (yuck I know) nails. Everyone seemed very happy with the overall experience. Little pricy but such a fun and unique experience!

We had a surprise birthday party for a friend and the staff at majesty’s pleasure Yorkville were absolutely amazing and catered to our every need. The booth, drinks, snacks and service were all perfect and made the event super special for the birthday girl. Will definitely be back for more special occasions!

Grace made my nails look like they’re out of this world! Such mastery of delicate detailed finessed work, it’s exactly as I envisioned it.
Polish prevents me from picking at my nails when I’m tired/nervous so I figured if I cover my nails up then it may as well be with fun art. My nails are short but there was enough space (no pun intended). I Couldn’t be happier with this work of art?

This was my first time here. The staff were all welcoming and the decor and bar was a nice touch. I got my haircut from Shamara, and she did a fantastic job. I love it.

It was my first experience at Majesty’s Pleasure - and definitely my last. While it was a beautiful space and all the staff were pleasant the quality of the pedicure was definitely sub par.

In less than 3 days and my pedicure chipped. While the almond oil spray smells lovely, it definitely does not work in place of a top coat. I had to walk out of the spa in flip flops because there were no fans I could use to dry my polish. When I asked if there was plastic wrap and quick dry spray for me to use, I was advised by the concierge that it doesn’t work well and that they had a client call the day prior, stating that once they got home from the spa, her polish smudged, and that there was no quality guarantee for it by the spa.

My gel mani was amazing! The nail tech was such a perfectionist and my nails are stunning. Highly recommend!

LOVE LOVE LOVE! I can't say enough good things about Majesty's Pleasure and their new location in Yorkville. Such a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend it. Great location, friendly staff, wonderful services and great vibes. Can't wait to go back!

I went to visit Majesty's Pleasure in Yorkville this week & it is STUNNING to say the least. It is a beautiful space and I was greeted by such friendly staff from the moment I arrived. I had nail art by Mariko, she is so talented! (see photo attached) and sipped on a Mermaid Latte afterwards. It's a very cosy spot with a lovely atmosphere, great music & stunning services. It was my first time at the Majesty’s pleasure Yorkville and I loved it! The ones at reception gave a warm welcome with beautiful smiles. My manicurist took the time to ask me what I wanted. She was professional and she meticulously worked on each nails. At the end my manicure looked perfect. The utensils were clean (wrapped in an individual pack) and the place looks beautiful. There’s alot to choose from the drink menu and some music to complete the ambience. It’s definitely a great place for a mani / pedi with family and friends.

I really do enjoy coming here, I’ve tried both locations for this spa. I got a gel manicure and a pedicure and the service and accommodation was very good. Here is how I would break down my overall rating:

Service: 10/10
They are really accommodating with booking and scheduling and the front desk staff is super friendly.

Non-colour service (I.e. Cuticle work, etc) :
10/10 both times I’ve been to majesty’s pleasure my cuticles come out looking amazing. The technicians I’ve worked with have always been meticulous and very careful not to be too aggressive. The massages and additional features are also a nice addition that you don’t really get for a comparable price. The shaping and filing is also pretty good. No complaints there.

Colour application:
Variable, can range from 4-10: the first time I went to the King St location, I got a regular manicure and the application was ok in the sense that my cuticles weren’t flooded but the light colour made the green of the base coat and the purple of the top coat (they have tints to them) stand out and it made the manicure look really strange. The layers weren’t allowed to dry long enough so they also bubbled. I ended up taking the polish off and reapplying myself. This time at Yorkville I got a gel manicure and the application was much better. I would give it an 8/10 in this case. Small points deducted for a couple of bald patches near the tip of the nail and small hits of gel that got onto the skin. The polish wrapped around the tip of the nail is also a bit rough, which just makes me want to pick at it. There are also a couple of dimples in the polish on my index finger which is a tad visible in the photo. I did prefer this application to the first application that I got with regular polish. I can’t comment on how long the gel manicure will last as I have a lot of activities in my life that aren’t great for maintaining a manicure (pottery, bouldering, etc).

Aesthetic and overall ambience: 10/10
One of the greatest appeals of Majesty’s pleasure is the ambience they create and they really do a stellar job. I would much rather book an appointment at a salon knowing that I’m also enjoying the atmosphere they’ve created. Today was pretty snowy but I can imagine how great the patio must be in the summer.

Overall, I will keep coming back periodically. Right now I’ve been in the grove of coming about once a month which works for me. I’ve been to a number of salons in the downtown area who charge marginally less but the service is significantly worse there. I would rather pay a little more and have better service and be happier with my services more often

I expected similar atmosphere to their king street location but I was blown away by the design. But even more, the staff was welcoming, attentive and skilled. Hands down the best manicure I have ever had. If you need a little escape from conversation, book the fringe room.

Beautiful spa lounge. They offer a lot of different esthetic services, along with cocktails, coffee, tea and snacks. I recommend the Mermaid Latte! I haven’t been on their patio yet, but it looks like a great space. Overall, this place is very modern and chic. The staff are also very friendly and fun, patient and informative.

A beautiful place to get your hair and/or nails done. The customer service is excellent and their bar has great drinks on offer. A perfect place to spend an afternoon feeling luxurious!
