Maker Pizza Avenue

I used to have delicious food here however 2 days ago, I ordered a So mushroom pizza and it was awful. We are unsatisfied with that. Don't try it.

This was my first time there, but it certainly won’t be my last. Very impressive operation.

Pizza looks amazing! Too bad it's 2023, and they don't carry any gluten-free or cauliflower crust. Shameful

Staff were helpful and friendly. The pizza was so good my son ate with his eyes closed and kept eating more despite already being so full.

This was delivery. ALL PIZZA post pandemic is Terrible. First time for this place for me. I liked it enough that I will order again. Tasty and nice chewy crust. NO ONE has ever come close to Camarras though. Ever.

Great food, but for the price they charge, I should be able to switch out the disgusting blue cheese dip for ranch for my wings.

Visited the place on May 29,2021. Pizza was very good & their cold deli sandwich was also very good. Some people may find the pizza a little too salty especially the double pepperoni but the one I bought was totally fine. Size to price ratio & quality was amazing. Compared to other pizza chains in the city this place is easily one of the best

One of the best pizza spots I’ve been too. The dough was amazing, the cheese and pepperoni was amazing. Was made perfectly. The dipping sauce was great too adding a bit of spice.

The pizza is so delicious here. Every single one of them is amazing. And the covered patio is handy dandy.

UNREAL, fresh and delicious pizza. Wish I lived in Toronto for this reason alone. Will definitely be coming back for more!

Pizza was great.dough was slightly soggy with one of them but I attribute that to the long drive home

My partner and I just ordered the Maker Marinara via Uber Eats and were absolutely blown away. Each bite was bursting with garlic and the sauce was perfect! (not too salty at all). The crust also has the ideal texture to it, slightly firm but also chewy. Being vegan we gave this a shot, and SO glad we did. One of the best pizza's we've had hands down.

Authentic Italian style pizzas. The crust and the Cheese are juicy and delicious. Although it's a little pricey, I would recommend this place at least once.

The crust was nice and thin, but not so thin that the it would start falling apart when taking out a slice. It was literally the perfect thinness.

There was A LOT of pepperoni, but also not so much that it felt overwhelming. Overall it was fantastic pizza. Would 100 percent come back again.

Also, the creamy garlic dip was amazingly good. Like soooo good.

Their pizzas are definitely unique compared to other places. Overall the pizza is good, however the pepperoni we got was too salty, their garlic dipping sauce is also very nice and has a mild flavour and homemade texture. Looking forward to trying their specialty ones.

My experiences with it are definitely only particular to me, and while there's a funny running joke in the restaurants theme and the pizzas are usually pretty good, there is almost always while the store is open extremely loud and highly profane music playing out of the speakers there. Now, due to the pandemic, we order it in via ubereats, but those traumatic experiences definitely aren't winning them any awards.

The pizzas here may look simple but the flavors of the dough, cheese, sauce and toppings are so complex and flavourful. Great customer service as well. Yet another successful venture from Matty Matheson and team. The Dr.pepperoni pizza, so mushroom pizza, Frankie's best pizza and the bodge sandwich are a must-try! I can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

All the inputs are top notch high quality - you get what you pay for here. Loved the hot wheel but couldn’t fall in love with dr.pep at all and wouldn’t ever order again. Stoked they finally expanded the menu and have dipping sauces.

I just went, heard a lot about it. In my humble opinion, very over rated. I got the mushroom pizza and its just not all that great. Got a garlic dipping sauce as well and it tasted like butter. And on top of that I paid 35 for a small pizza, with a dip and coke. Maybe it was the pizza I got, because the sauce was white but even then the price was way too much and the dip was terrible. On a positive note, the girl behind the cash was very nice and helpful.

I've been coming to Maker Pizza for years- truly the best pizza i've had, nothing compares. I always order ahead a Dr. Pepperoni and drive an hour into the city to pick it up- worth the trip! Looking forward to trying the Wings and other offerings!

UPDATE: I don't know why people feel this place is that great IMO. My wife order a pepperoni pizza and it was way overcooked and too salty. Dumped it into the garbage. Over an hour wait for the delivery which was a mere 4km down the road. The lemon chicken wings weren't bad but will not justify the high cost of the meal. Dropped from 2/5 to 1 star. Won't return.

Delicious pizza. Service is inconsistent however. They advertise for "contact-less" pickup however the employee hand delivers your pizza right to your door which would be great and all if we weren't in the middle of a Covid-19 pandemic? Also somewhat overpriced - $45.00 for 2 small pizzas.

Can’t complain really damn good margarita pizza. Lemon pepp wings could have been better. Chili creamy garlic Parmesan dip is godly.

$42 for a small pizza, 10 wings and a dipping sauce is pricey, but the food is overall really good. Wings lacked in lemon pepper seasoning overall, very crispy otherwise.

Text comes in, pizza is ready, 10 minutes in line to pick-up and now cold by the time I get home. Poor logistics.pizza good, but not worth the long delays for tme to make it and long wait ince it is ready.this is pickup, not dining room!

Is it better than anywhere else, not really. In the Lawrence Park area there are several good places that charge much less. The pizza was average at best and I spent like 60 bucks. At that price you expect something, you know better than average.

Have tried several pizzas from here, but the stand out and only pizza I would say is a 5/5 here is the "Frank's Best". Personally I find the dough to be spongey in consistency, and it isn't bad, but is not my first choice. However, I think that consistency is what pairs well with the sweetness of the Franks Best pizza. Feels like dessert at times, but it's just so good. Would recommend grabbing a couple pies here.

A lot of hype and very high hopes. But, I can’t say it lived up to its name for the price point. Today I tried the Margarita and the So Mushroom. The Margarita was similar to a Newyork slice but leaves something to be desired. I’ve had very similar tasting pizza at blaze. The So Mushroom was almost perfect. A great unique flavour but similar to other reviews very salty and overpowering. Id like to try it again should they make the right changes. Over all 3/5 mostly because of the salt issue otherwise I’d give it a 4.

Great tasting pizza made with a proper stove. It's slightly pricey but is comparable to other restaurants of the same caliber, got the Dr pepperoni and it was delicious! Solid pizza for a solid price!

OMG. I'm bordering the decision of becoming an overweight person after eating this pizza. I would eat it 3 times a day 7 days a week 365 days a year. I'm convinced that God came down from the heavens created this place and took off. I'm also considering putting the continued success of makers pizza in my morning prayers to ensure they never go out of business. I have lived in New York and Florida I have dined at the best pizza places in both those states. This absolutely blows any pizza I have ever had away. This is the number 1 pizza in North America. Thank you makers. And thank you God for allowing makers to enter our planet.

I found many reviews about Makers and decided to give this a try! Unfortunately I wasn’t blown away by the pizzas, some videos and pictures make the pizza look a lot better than it is. I bought two large pizzas for $70.00. Thats pretty expensive for a pizza to not be anything special.

I found the pizza to be mediocre, maybe if I bought a smaller size and ate it right away it may have tasted better.

Their covid protocol & online order system is very easy and quick pick up.

First time ordering and it definitely will not be our last this pizza is amazing the Franks best was my favourite. It’s a little pricey compared to other pizza places but you get what you pay for. The crust is probably the best I’ve ever had and you can tell the ingredients great quality. A must try if you haven’t already

You definitely get what you pay for here, super high quality brick oven crust, amazing ingredients and an overall exceptional pizza. I thought the contactless pick up was easy and hassle free, a well run operation. The team here was great and very helpful, obviously interested in ensuring you get a high quality meal. Would highly recommend, look forward to trying all the different pizzas.

Maker Pizza is quite possibly the best pizza I have ever had in my life. The quality of their toppings, the flavour of the sauce, and the crispy texture of the base is unmatched.

If the pan pizza is available, make sure you order it. The pizza is so heavy, don’t try to carry it with one hand.

They tend to sell out of items earlier in the evening. So if you are thinking about ordering it tonight, place an order for the evening now!

I always had this place on my food places to go list and it was well worth it! I ordered Frank’s Best and every bite was delicious. Literally one of the best pizzas I have ever had! Will definitely be coming back, no doubt about that!

This place has some of the tastiest pizzas you will find in the city. I've had the chance to try most of their pizzas now and none of them have disappointed. The topping and flavour combinations are unique, and the crust itself is light but still chewy.

The service here has always been good as my pizzas are ready in the specified amount of time after my call, and when picking up my order, the staff are always friendly. My only complaint so far with this place is that the prices are a bit high. A large was $24 which is almost double the price of a large pizza from your typical chains. Having said that, the pizzas here are definitely unique and have a taste not found elsewhere.

Overall, this is a fantastic pizza joint and my new go-to.

Tip: call ahead to order if you're picking up as they are usually always busy and there can be a bit of a wait.

Amazing place to get pizza. A little bit pricey but worth it for good quality pizza. I really enjoyed the Franks best pizza. The dough is above average might be the best dough in Toronto. The cheese and topping and sauce were above avenge making the pizza very very good. If you are debiting getting the pizza because of the price it is well worth it for great quality pizza.

Top notch pizza. I have to say, not the biggest fan of their contactless pickup experience - but it’s best if you follow their guides as it appears that the people who don’t are the ones who mess up the system. Regardless, really great pizza! If only it wasn’t so pricey, but hey, you get what you pay for, and it appears that they do not compromise when it comes to quality and consistency. Keep up the great work Maker!

I appreciate that the style of pizza they do is of a certain kind, but I just didn’t find it very good. Granted, they use excellent quality ingredients and cook it very well, but the end product for the price was not something I would go back for.

My friend introduced me to Maker a few months ago and I was instantly in love with the flavor. I know that taste is a very personal thing, but I love the crust here. It's fairly thin but still has a bit of chew to it and the taste is awesome! All of the ingredients I have tried so far are top notch. There are a decent choice of different toppings or you can create your own. Really the only downside I could say is the price, but I still think it's worth it and will continue to keep going back here for a treat. Don't forget to pick up one of the Le Gourmand cookies while you are there! Best in Toronto!

Absolutely delicious! Franks Best and Tropical Thunder are my go to's! I have been testing out pizza places around town and this place still comes up as the winner so far for the best pie in town! Highly recommend!
