I ordered the cumin lamb and chili crisp pizza. It was the best pizza I have had in my life. It was just bursting with flavors! Even the crust is delicious! It heavenly!

I am always looking for good pizza in different areas, to avoid big chains pizza. This is quite a decent pizza with tasty dough.

I get something from them about twice a month and it's always fantastic. Order the Frank's Best.

Pickup and delivery always on time. One of the only places I order from where delivery is occasionally early.

One the best pizza shops in Toronto.

There’s nothing like it. I’ve tried the location on Queen West but I prefer this shop more. For some reason, the pizza I ate here the other day doesn’t taste as greasy.

Love the dough to topping ratio - slices aren’t too thick, and the crust is also delicious (crunchy and moist). 4 stars because it was extremely oily!

If you’re hungry, choose somewhere else.
If you like being able to choose your dinner, order from somewhere else.
I have liked the pizza from here in the past.
Tonight, at 8pm, I ordered. After a delay, the app told me I would get my order at 9: 21, already a long time. My order arrived at 9: 50pm. Strike that, AN order arrived at 9: 50. I got two pizzas, neither or which I ordered.
When I called to complain, the person said she was sorry. Asked how this would be made right, I was told I would get a credit on my NEXT order. That was not adequate.
I was hungry and ate a slice of what I got. Unsurprisingly, it was cold.

I am grateful every day that I live near a Maker pizza. This location has its quirks due to the old warehouse style building it's in, but I get high-quality pizza and other foods from here multiple times a week. Highly recommend.

Elevated standardized (aka street) Toronto Pizza.

Ordered once through Uber (it was fair but arrived cold…) and then ordered a second time but picked up directly through their site. The order was ready shortly after they had mentioned it was ready. Pizza’s were uniform, crunchy and soft crust, and the toppings were of high quality. Cookies were a hit with the kids too.

Daughter mentioned there was still a bit of flop on the cheese slice. Can’t win them all!

Quality pizza. Will order again.

We visited Maker Pizza and while it wasn't the best I've ever had, we still had a very enjoyable experience. One of the things that stood out to me was the friendly and fast service. The staff was attentive, accommodating, and eager to please, which made the whole experience all the more pleasant.

I was also impressed with the quality of the ingredients used in the pizza. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and you could tell that care had been taken in choosing only the best ingredients.

While it may not have been the best pizza I've ever had, I still think they are a great option for anyone looking for a quick, satisfying meal.

Also make sure to get the spicy garlic dip, it's really unique.

Pies are still good, but customer service is slipping. Very late on the last 3 pickups…waiting for 20 minutes+ each. Will be taking a break from Maker for a while. Hope they turn things around.

I like this place for consistency in good dough. Chewy-soft in a good way that speaks to the carb lover. Important bcs it provides enough body to hold up to a tasty combo of ingredients, especially a quality layer of non-processed tasting cheese on all their pies. Some would generalize it as American style bcs its more substantial. Don't eat this if you like Italian style thin crust. Sadly, this is why Dave Portnoy gave Maker a lowish score. I’d give Maker 8.3 if we had more granular scoring.

Closest comparable maybe Blondies (also east end TO), but I had a couple of misses there on dough being tough.perhaps they rush the kneading. I originally liked Blondies for same reason above.

Would of got a better rating.but I drove right by and missed the small signe. 3 is all I can give without really tasting it?

Worst pizza store in the city, waiting time 15 to 20 minutes for no reason. They don’t respect people time.

This review is based on my experience trying to order online. I realize it was Halloween night so I ordered early at 5: 30 PM online for two large pizzas. Total with tax, tip and delivery was going to be $90. An hour and a half later no pizza had delivered and when I called they said it’s busy but my order is out for delivery and I should see it in 20 minutes. 30 minutes later I called back and they said they were just finishing my order and it was going to be delivered in 15 minutes. At this point it was late at night and our friends had to leave so I asked him to please cancel the order. He placed me on hold and then eventually hung up. I called back and finally got through and he assured me the order was canceled. Well then I checked my credit card a few days later and they had still charged me. Very poor customer service.

Love this place.fresh pie's that have the perfectly chewy crust.our favourite is 100% Frank's best, with the sesame coated crust and honey drizzle and just bubbling with cheese. The pepperoni one is also delicious along with the napoli dynamite.they get busy so make sure you order well in advance.

Best takeout pizza we've had in Toronto! And we've tried many but keep coming back here. The base, the sauce and the quality and combination of toppings- all perfection!
Tropic thunder and Frank's best are our go to's. De-LISH!

Great pizza! Had the pepperoni and margarita pizza, dough was super soft and crispy on the inside which was amazing since it’s hard to master this perfection. We also had their Buffalo wings which surpassed the quality of other wing shops. Cookies to top it off for dessert which blew my mind on how good they were! Lastly, garlic and dill sauces for the pizzas were phenomenal, they make it in house which you can tell. Non of that pre packaged stuff. You pay for the quality! Highly recommend this place!

I’ve heard a lot about this place and had to try it out. Pizza is really good. Toppings (pepperoni) is quite salty though. The dough and crust were a perfect 10/10. Made for great leftovers as well.

I don’t like the fact that on UnerEats they only serve small pizza’s? Do they think only kids are ordering from UberEats?

Amazing pizza. Would put this on my list for my next Toronto visit. Sesame and honey your crust, you won’t regret it.

Soooo good! This is our new go to place for pizza night. Someone highly recommended this place to us and we foolishly put off trying it for awhile. Don't make the same mistake. Just try it and you won't be disappointed.

Pizza has a nice crunch on the outside of the crust but chewy texture on the inside. Ingredient ratios are good. Delicious pizza! Highly recommend.

Great pizzas, a little too greasy buttttt that adds to the flavour ‍️. An easy go to for a za if you’re in the neighbourhood.

Me and my partner called in for 2 small pizzas and 4 garlic sauces. Woman over the phone said it will be 25 minutes. We were like perfect. Its a 30 minutes drive.we arrived on time. Waited extra 15 minutes to get the usual text. We went in. Still.pizza isnt ready even thou we got the text.we waited an additional 20 minutes to get one of the pizzas only. Order 1411869. My partners order. My order number 1411874 wasnt ready still! I walked in and i asked for a refund but they never were able to issue a refund. On top the pizza was cold. Nothing like the avenue location. And the staff memeber was rude also. He was like dont worry ill.give you your 6 dollars back. I said its 24.30 plus 6.30. Horrible experience.what they do is they keep 5 or 6 customers pizzas up and wont give them out.to.waiting customers as per the que. Instead they wait til 6 of the orders are all complete and then they bring them down and call out customers names like its starbucks. Without no regard to the pizzas temperature.avenue location doesnt do that at all. They are amazing.

May 2022 update - 4.5 stars. The Frank's is worth the hype! Satisfies savoury and sweet. The favours didn't overpower each other but instead creates a delightful smooth blend. Needs no dip. The sesame crust with hints of honey is unexpected genius. Would love to come back for more!

From Oct 2021 - read as 3.5 stars. Pictured: mushroom and margherita. Enjoyed that it was loaded with mushrooms with a unique texture. Margherita was nothing special. Both are very thin. Recommended to me by a foodie friend but it did not meet expectations considering the price.

I thought I'd eaten good pizza before. Then I tried Maker Pizza! I wish they had more locations so I could have it every week! They have some kind of Magical oven or something! Wish I worked in the area more often.

Their pizza is always fresh and so delicious! Their creamy garlic dipping sauce has a sweet taste to it, it's a must! My fav are The Spicy Pep God & The Hot Wheel.

So Mushroom is my favourite from Maker Pizza! They probably used an entire carton of mushrooms on this one 16" pizza. All the ingredients come together so well in this one. Love the flavour of the dough and dill dipping sauce as well. It's a bit more expensive than other pizza places but worth it IMO.

It was so hot and fresh, Iv been going to Makers since they just started on Queen St, I have never been disappointed!

Excited to finally try Maker Pizza - love that they've come East! The mushroom pizza is mind-blowing! The flavour just pops and the lemon zest adds incredible freshness. Also tried the pepperoni which is fantastic and the cheese pizza. Switched the crust on the cheese pizza to sesame seed which has some honey. Our household was split on the sesame honey crust. Also tried the creamy garlic dipping sauce and it's unreal! Definitely worry the price when you're looking for good quality pizza!

Never disappoints and now it’s in Leslieville! The sesame crust is unique and delicious. I get it every time. Best pizza in the city, if you ask me.
