Wonderful experience. Our son thrived at their camp - amazing staff and program. Highly recommend

My son had the best time at the MakerKids Minecraft camp this summer. We have done other coding programs, but this has been the best by far. The staff are highly qualified and extremely caring and accommodating. My son was so proud of what he accomplished during his time at camp and can’t wait to go back!

I was not satisfied with the Maker Kids program that I registered my son for one week of Summer as a Test which could help me to decide whether we wanted to continue. After hecstated his Summer camp classes here, whenever I asked my little son what did you learn today, he only showed me a drawing! Moreover, whatever they made as a small robot in class stayed in class, so apparently the Output was always invisible to both kids and parents. There was also an incident caused by one of the coaches who hit the ball on my 5 year old son's face while No Report was given! I followed up and then the coach opened up and apologized! Shockingly, the same coach kicked the ball to my son's head and this time, the front desk man laughed and said something like no serious hit this time! I did not actually understand what he meant. In the car, my son told me quietly that he was hit by the ball when the coach kicked it! But mommy don't worry, it didn't heart much this time! Woww! How heartbroken I felt but I wad glad that his one week program was Over! Then I realized that I should have protected my kid against the coaches who were too young to know how to teach, supervise and monitor younger kids. I completely regret the money I paid for no learning outcome and the risks they put my son at!

My daughter loves working with Viviane! Over the many months working together on coding, she has taught her so much with such amazing support and cheerfulness. She is my daughter''s highlight on the week ends!

We had a great experience. My son started with virtual classes in 2021 but really enjoyed the in person classes once things opened up again. I liked the mix of coding, robotics and Minecraft. Teachers were very flexible and I appreciated the post-class updates. Highly recommend!

Education for the 21st century. Kids love their classes and learn useful skills in the process! Win-win!

My children (10y daughter, 8y son) love their Maker Kids classes. The staff are patient, professional, and keep them engaged with fun and challenging activities. My kids have learned a lot in their classes and we really appreciate the virtual format. I highly recommend Maker Kids!

Makerkids offers a great range of programs. My 11 year old son really enjoys his advanced coding class. He feels challenged and engaged with the materials and gets a real sense of pride when he completed his work. The staff is professional and helpful.

The staff are incredible and so accommodating. The kids absolutely LOVE coming here! They are engaged throughout and leave proud of what they accomplished. Such a great and much needed space for kids!

My daughter absolutely loved her Advanced Robotics class led by Ariel. It was interesting, challenging, and very educational.

As a parent I felt she was learning the skills to be at the forefront of 21st century economy.

My boys have been learning coding programs with Makerkids for almost 2 years. They really enjoyed the program. Zaka, the first online instructor for my boys did a fantastic job! The boys love him so much! Emily, another instructor did a great job as well. I have to say that Makerkids have an awesome team. Always encouraging the kids to learn with passion. I am very happy to find a company like this. Highly recommend to my friends! Keep up the excellent work Makerkids!

Aiden is truly the best instructor. He's incredibly patient and takes his time to thoroughly explain the process of both coding and creating in Minecraft. Both my 6 year old and my 9 year have learned so much and continue to with confidence.

We had a great experience at this school. My son learned a lot of coding. The teachers are great and the management was flexible and helpful. Thanks for the great lessons!

My 7 year old son loves his beginner class with MakerKids. The instructors is fun, engaging and patient and my son is always so proud of what he accomplishes in class and can’t wait to show me!

My 10 year old son has been taking a semi-private MineCraft class with MakerKids Leaside since March/April and has loved it. In fact, he would run all they way home from school to get ready for it. The class has engaged him and allowed him to broaden his playing AND coding skills. I appreciate the prompt feedback I get from the instructor at the end of each class and the support we have gotten when there have been issues with the computer. My son also had his tenth birthday party through MakerKids which he and his friends thoroughly enjoyed. It was wonderful for the kids to celebrate together albeit virtually. One of the party goers got disconnected and MakerKids called the family and helped them reconnect. I would strongly recommend MakerKids Leaside. We certainly will be joining again after the summer break.

Two of my kids have been taking the Minecraft classes with MakerKids Leaside and they have had a wonderful time. It is interactive and informative. They have learned a lot and really enjoy themselves. Highly recommend!

My family has had an incredible experience with MakerKids Leaside. After attending a virtual birthday party, we signed my son and a friend up for Saturday classes in Minecraft, Coding and Robotics. Their teacher has been an incredible resource for them and it has been a ton of fun! My son has learned so much. I'd highly recommend them!

For anybody looking for a quality time for their kids, I strongly recommend MakerKids Leaside as a great opportunity for your kids to learn, have fun and for you as a parent to have some free time, too! I have had direct observations from my son's instructor Aiden B.who is extremely organized, patient, knowledgeable and professional with the kids! Also, I have been extremely impressed by the manager of the location- Zaka, who has been very kind, co- operative, understanding, responding right away and easy to have business with! I strongly recommend this location for your kids fun and advancement!

My 9-yo son has been doing a coding and robotics class at MakerKids Leaside with 4 of his school friends. They started during COVID restrictions so it's been virtual.
I cannot overstate how much he loves it! He has had two instructors so far, as when they moved past the beginner level they were assigned a new instructor. Both have been excellent, and relate very well to the kids. I am a developer myself, and am amazed at how much my son has learned. The only thing is, robotics is not as fun when done virtually, so I'll be purchasing some equipment and building robots with him to extend the lessons.

I only have good things to say about MakerKids Leaside! My son learned a lot and had fun doing it each week. It was easy to get started and before long he was confidently coding. The instructors were good at building rapport with the kids.

We started with MakerKids Leaside coding and Minecraft virtual classes in September to ensure our boys stayed up to date with the curriculum and for some added fun with Minecraft.

The kids are in class 3 times per week as the instruction has been fantastic and keeps the boys engaged even after their class has ended. They just love it and are constantly asking for more time.
All of the instructors are fantastic. I am so happy to have discovered MakerKids and couldn’t speak more highly of them.

My son has an IEP for dyslexia and previously would cry with frustration when he had to read. He took the Minecraft virtual camps with MakerKids during covid and it's been an incredible experience for him!

His mastery of Minecraft has given him so much confidence, he's so excited and now he's doing great in school. Thank you MakerKids for the exceptional service and fantastic teachers! We love the coding camps and virtual birthday parties too!

My son enrolled with MakerKids Coding and really enjoyed it. During this past covid year, we had to discontinue all of his classes but decided we would try coding (virtually) for the first time. So glad we did because he has now created so many new games on his own and has developed a certain confidence because of this skill. Thanks MakerKids!

My kids have been attending MakerKids Leaside for the last year and have loved it! Instructors, Emily and Aidan, are very knowledgeable and patient teachers. My kids learned lots and had tons of fun.
