Worst customer service, they are rude at your face. It’s my second time here getting the same service, but this is the closest sushi place I have.

Worse service ever.rude Chinese waitress who seats you and serves you she must hate her job perfusly slamming things down in front of you.no your welcome after you thank her just a rude ugly person she must be a owner or doing favors for the boss in order to be miserable and disgusting and still allowed to be working there. Never again will O give that establishment my business

I used to love this place, and was hesitant to come back here with the dinner price being $39.99, but we decided to try it out for our anniversary. While everything was edible, it is the highest we’ve paid for AYCE sushi in Durham and it is our least favourite. Our #1 is Sushi Today in Whitby and #2 is Mito Sushi in Bowmanville. The maki lacked flavour in the rice and the cooked food was VERY pepper heavy. The highlight was the karage chicken. I also find it very cold in here, and we are not sitting near the door. The service is good. Friendly staff, but they need to come to finalize your order on the iPad before the kitchen gets it. We spent some time waiting, but nothing too terrible.

We love going to Makimono. It has something for everyone. If you are not a big fan of sushi, there are lots of other options available. They also have vegetarian options as well.

Had take-out from Makimono before and liked the sushi. However, feels like it's not the case for all-you-can-eat sushi, especially sushi felt to have way more rice on them than a-la-carte/take-out orders.

The one Asian server has a very weird energy there.she kept staring at us for no reason…she made us feel very uncomfortable

Makimono seems to be getting worse every time we order, coconut shrimp was so over cooked and the sushi was cheap with the rice. I won't be going back.

Totally underwhelming food experience. No comparison to Pickering location sad to say.

Food selection on the all you can eat menu is limited and poor quality. Sushi is tasteless and wet, Miso soup resembles dishwater, steamed dim sum has unidentified taste, dynamite and spicy salmon rolls were soggy inside.

I personally would not repeat.
