Makimono Sushi Bar Restaurant

I was very impressed with the quality of food (especially the sushi/torched sushi/sashimi). Usually when dining, I find decent fish with one or two very good tasting quality fish. Every bite was delicious. I LOVED the ginger ice cream (and ordered a second one as it was that amazing). Go for the fish, stay and enjoy everything else, including the cute robot servers. Added bonus if u have 10% off coupon and pay in cash (coupon on takeout menu).

Service was very slow although we went at 3 pm to avoid the crowd. The restaurant was almost empty yet food took forever.rolls were good, some oversized
calamari was like rubber and the pepper beef was tough.among the AYCE Sushi places I would place at 4 behind K&B, Spoon and Fork, and Robot Sushi.
No pop free refills like the ones mentioned above and smaller selection. Most desert, beside ice cream, were not available.

Food was fantastic. Slooowwww service. Our server lady was named, Ling. Totally no personality at all. Miserable and awful customer service. She ruined what could have been a great experience.

Horrible customer service. If you like waiting forever this is the place to go to. Also, they take pride in giving out reheated stale food.

Great experience with our last time out.
We had a party of six and service was great with a variety of food options for lunch.

Price was a bit on the high side but this might be the new norm.

I have always loved coming here. Its my favourite place to get all you can eat sushi. My family and I always go, and I take all my friends when I can.

I ordered all you can eat at dinner time. They use a tablet for placing your order, which was very convenient. The pictures and descriptions on the tablet made it easy if your unfamiliar with the Japanese words. The food came fast and was pretty tasty.

Call during business hours, and they refused to take my pick up order saying theyre closing …9: 30 pm
Quality has suffered, and servers are not very pleasant

Went there on a Friday evening. The place was hot and uncomfortable. They must have turned off the air conditioning. They used robots to serve and when you needed to ask for something, the servers were impolite. They never smiled and seemed to always be in a rush.

The food quality was not good at all and service horrible. We ordered butterfish and it was really dry and tiny pieces. We mentioned it to our waitress she gave us a dirty look and walked away (Zheng was her name our waitress) We got our rolls first which we ordered after our salads and we got our rolls then our salads. Crab pizza was over fried and served cold. Terrible service will never return this is now my second time and both times horrible service and food quality not good at all. It showed we were the only ones in your establishment.

Used to be a fan of mandarin till I found MAKIMONO
Their sushi rolls, soups, even the deserts were fabulous

All you can eat is a bit pricey for the options provided. Sushi combinations are limited. Not of the greatest quality. But for all you can eat it's decent. Service is the worst quality of this place. They drop everything and run and never ask if you need anything.

I order from here occasionally, and for the most part, the food is usually pretty good. Today, not so much. I found the rice in my rolls to be quite bland. The miso soup also had way too much miso paste in it, so it tasted too strong and too salty.
When I came in, the restaurant was almost empty (aside from two or three other takeout orders), yet it took a long time to prepare my order. They even forgot to let me know it was ready, so I was probably sitting there much longer than I needed to be. I saw bag on the counter at one point, but I didn't know it was mine.
I might have to find a new sushi place. I liked ordering from here because it's close to me, but my food was a let down.
