Mamajoun

Finally got a chance to try this place. The owner was SO welcoming and good in helping us decide what to get. We ended up with an Armenian version 2 and it hit the spot! The soujouk was the perfect blend of spices and the experience was great. Will return!

Unfortunately since I don't live in the area I've only been able to come here twice so far, but it will always be in the back of my mind moving forward whenever I'm in Scarborough. The food tastes excellent and is freshly made, at a reasonable price given the quality and care that goes into it. The owner is also very friendly and helpful which goes a long way with any small business. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody in the area who needs something quick to eat but wants something better than your typical fast food garbage.

Authentic, amazing food. Very warm staff. This is the type of place you look for but rarely find.

It was delicious and the staff was lovely and kind. Very small. We called ahead to make sure they had a seating area. Not really a fully dine in option but it worked for the small lunch break we needed. The price was also very good.

First try to take the Armenian flatbread wrap and drinks. The owner was friendly to recommend the base and protein in the wraps. We liked them! Also picked up a jar of melburry jam. Will definitely go back.

Owner is very chill, funny and kind. Bought a Large “The Armenian” pizza, it was on a thin crust baked perfectly. The beef topping leaves a savoury taste, definitely would come back for this pizza again. Oh and the “Yan apple juice” is something I’d recommend as well. It’s not the same as store bought juice. Definitely recommend.

The mouth watering aromas of freshly baked flatbreads hit you when you walk in, instantly sparking your appetite!

Delicious food. Special options you can’t find anywhere else in the city. Tons of options for vegans and vegetarians. I enjoyed it so much that I took their catering menu. The staff are all so caring. Very good people. Worth driving to all the way from the west end. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Mamajoun is always good. I'd take their wraps over their pizza. And when they have it in stock, the tarragon soda is a favourite.

Had a Mish Mash (Zaatar + olives), topped with the everything + garlic sauce. The mint leaves were super refreshing, and every bite popped with flavour from the pickled turnips and seasonings. Pressed and grilled make it nice and crispy, so much fun texture contrast.

The owner is super friendly and chatty. I found out they carry vegan soujuk as a topping, you'll have to ask for it!

Consistent quality homemade food with loving family oriented owners and staff. Best pizza sandwiches ever! We have been going to them for many years for their delicious Armenian foods and other international tasty food. A true gem of Toronto! A must try again and again.

Our family came for late lunch on a Saturday. The staff was very helpful and pleasant, as it was our first time there, answering our questions, giving us pointers on what's popular and the types of toppings that would go well with the different types of protein. Had a Papajoun base with sujuk, and braised beef with cheese base. No photos because it was too delicious to wait!

Got the joun with zaatar, soujouk, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes and WOW was it DELICIOUS! The mango papaya drink was also great. Didn’t get pickled veggies on ours, but highly recommend

Wow. Always drove by this place. Decided to try today. The mamajoun is serious! Had a spinach and mish mash. Perfect lunch

Fast, delicious, and hearty portions. Lahmajoun with house made sausage is easily one of the best lunches you can get for under ten bucks.

The service is good. I gave 4 starts for that. I will taste the pizza and update the rating accordingly.

We tried Italian and peppers and it is so darn good. Thin crust, made in house, sauce tastes delicious, all the toppings are fresh.

The cost is a little high, but it is absolutely worth every $. If you plan to eat pizza, you might as well eat a good one.

Honestly, it doesn’t matter what you order from here EVERYTHING is a 10/10 and the owner is a gem!

I was about to order the Italian sausage for my Papajoun wrap and my guy says “no don’t do that”. I’m glad I took his advice because the Soujouk recommendation was delicious. We also tried the pizza, no complaints it was great. Really good service too. It’s a shame I live about 45 minutes away because I’d come here weekly.

They just have the most delicious food here. All the ingredients are so fresh you really taste everything it's such a great place to eat. And the bread is truly the best quality it's so light and flavorful

Amazing sandwiches. This place does the best sandwiches and flatbreads in scarborough. I can't tell you how much I love coming here to buy preserves and frozens for those lazy sundays

We called today and ordered a medium Armenian pizza, which was a perfect size for 2 people plus leftovers. We arrived within 20 minutes of placing our order and it was already prepped. The staff member was warm and friendly, and the space is lovely. There are a range of prepackaged items you can purchase. They even had bags of specialty coffee and an Armenian vegan cookbook available for purchase. The pizza itself was *so good* - I love the flavours in the soujouk and beef. I can't wait to go back.

Best kept secret in Scarborough. Small selection of home made Armenian food, every one of them is really good. Great customer service as well.

One of the best pizzas I ever had! There garlic sauce is also real (possibly homemade). Polite employees. Would recommend over any chain stores.

The meals and service were beyond my expectations. We truly enjoyed the ambience of this place. Wonderful place to take my family out for lunch.

This place is famous for his lahamajoon which is good, but their pizza and sandwiches are even better, highly recommend this place

Mieran has a knack for being the perfect host and friend all in one while you eat delicious food no matter what you try. I've catered from here for many occasions and eaten in countless times. The quality and taste is impeccable and consistent beyond belief. I have always wished I lived closer but that has never stopped me from driving up from downtown. This is a must have.

Amazing pizza and amazing pies! I cannot recommend this place enough to my friends! I speak with the owner whose a stand up guy while he makes my order - such a lovely gem of a pizzeria!

Tried a variety of pizzas and other Armenian specialties with a group exploring the food opportunities in Scarborough. All delicious, fresh and reasonably priced. The owner/host extremely friendly and helpful. Seating is limited, but the atmosphere is welcoming. A box of mini-pizzas was sitting on the counter ready for shipment to Philadelphia! Impressive.

Based on Auston Spademan review I tried the papajouhn with sausage and also tried a vegetarian wrap (Zaatar with extra cheese) and both were delicious. Even my kids who are picky eaters liked it! I will definitely go back and try some of their other menu items. I called and ordered it 10 minutes before I went and it was ready. Very friendly owner who is always smiling

If I could give 10 stars I would. What a find! Simple menu but excellent quality and value. We are regulars now. Catering is next level as well.

First time having an "Armenian pizza". The flatbread wrap was really tasty and cheap too! Will definitely come back to try other toppings.

Where else are you going to get Armenian pizza? The owner is great, as is the food. The pizzas are solid and I love the ready-to-go bean, pasta and couscous salads. The house made pita chips and hummus are also excellent. You must check it out if you're in the area.

Went there today for the first time. Amazing mante and lahmajoun, Just like grandma used to make. Also had the papajoun with soujouk, with pickles and olives, mint and garlic sauce, absolutely delicious. Keep up the great work!

Simple and fresh ingredients bring out the best out of each other. It's a celebration big taste, you feel like you have travelled a 1000 year in history and are eating what middle Easterners ate back then.

Tastes really really good.the place is relatively small, best for take outs or quick bite.
The pizza was expensive, but worth the taste. I will definitely go back again for more.

A fantastic Armenian pizza place! The lamajoun is made fresh when you order and the extra toppings are great (tip: try the sojuk). The Mante are delicious and a must try.

Hell yes! Perfectly spiced, crispy, savoury goodness. Everything is made super fresh to order. The pizzas themselves are delicious and then you get to throw fresh toppings on them to take it to another level. He also offers dumplings called mante served in a tomato sauce with yogurt that are out of this world. There are also some traditional Armanian drinks to sample which you can't find anywhere else. The owner is very welcoming, super nice, and helpful. Come hungry, bring friends, this place rocks.

What a great place and amazing food! Top up the experience with such a cordial staff. A must go if you want to try fresh and delicious Armenian food.

You have to place the order, they will make it for you. You will be waiting while it is getting ready. But it will be worth. The guy said you can call and place an order. That way you don’t have to wait. It is a small place. Very delicious pizza. I haven’t tried their other items. May be next time.

Great quality, friendly staff, very reasonable prices. Also they have some delicious all natural jams from Armenia. Highly recommend.
