Man Vs Meats

This is top notch food. I've yet to be disappointed by something on the menu. Highly recommend this joint.

Chicken parm is next level.

I gave 2 stars because about a month prior I had a hamburger and fries. Fries were nice and crispy and burger was excellent. I decided to try the chicken wings this time and don't think I received what was advertised as "tossed in seasoned flour and deep fried" I beleive what I received was regular cheap store bought frozen breaded chicken wings which I would never buy. After eating a few I fed the rest to my dog as I had to fight to get the meat off the bones and the half cooked soggy fries went in the garbage. Won't be doing that again.

Like meat? Go! Great food at reasonable prices. BIG portions. Friendly staff. Had the 3 little pigs sandwich and really enjoyed it.

Fantastic! The cheesesteak is amazing. Loaded with juicy beef, tons of peppers, onions and mushrooms. Can't wait to go back!

Great place! ! Great service, clean and the food was FANTASTIC! The Butter Milk Club was outstanding. The best restaurant on the South Side.

Absolutely amazing food every single time i come here. Its not only savoury and delicious, the portions are great for the price. When you have all this beauty on a plate any price is good. If i could over rate i would. Good job you guys!

Great food! The special "3 little pigs" was one of the yummiest sandwiches I've had recently. The Philly Cheese Steak Dip was really good too.

Good sandwiches. I like their chicken Parm and another time I had their prime rib philly which is a beef dip and philly combined.

Delicious food and good prices.

My husband has ate his fair share of ribs all over the place. He thought these were some of the best. The chef came out to see how we liked our food which was neat. Our waitress was very sweet. Great experience.

If you haven't eaten here yet, you need to.

For starters, there's been a recent influx of 'burger joints' in town. Well they WISH their burgers were on the same level as the vaunted Carnivore burger. The hamburger is flavourful and juicy on its own (so many places fail at this), and the toppings are on point.

To put it plainly: this is meat done RIGHT. The braised beef is out of this world, with a perfect pairing of BBQ sauce that doesn't fall into the 'too sweet' category that so many do.

The chicken was juicy and delicate, and the fries were crispy, and delicious.

I absolutely recommend this place to anyone with even a passing fancy to meat. It's simple, honest food, done right - with a focus on flavour, instead of fancy ingredients and 'flavour of the month' trends.

Let's start out that I had it delivered to my hotel.

Had the philly cheese steak which was completely flavourless. If it wasn't for the "pork flavored" gravy (didn't taste like beef either) there would have been no flavour at all.
The fries were absolutely horrible. Maybe it was just the takeout that made it so bad.
The bacon cheeseburgers were ok, however there wasn't any flavour in the beef patty either.
Ordered chicken strips and got some sort of a chicken caesar sandwich instead. Called in about the mistake and it was another hour before we got it and we ended up paying $4 more for the terrible fries that were supposed to have been included with the chicken fingers. The chicken fingers were good when they did finally arrive, but with the rest of the order so dismal it kind of left a bad taste on the whole meal experience.

Literally the best sandwiches you could ever and for. Huge portions, and so much flavour. It's pretty hard to turn down lunch at this place.

Great food! Better service! What a nice little surprise for us on our way to the airport flying back home to Toronto. Thank you so much for a great barbecue experience with fresh ingredients and Great Taste! See you back in June!

First time here. On a reccomendation from a friend. Service was great. Food was fast and great. Flavours very distinct and wonderful. Portions were huge. Lunch is also going to be my supper

The prices are listed with the tax included (which is something more places should start doing). The prices tend to lean heavily on the pricey end, but it is easily justified after seeing the quality and quantity of the food.

I travel for work, stay in dozens of different city's and eat hundreds of burgers, I try to make an effort to try the "best burger" in every city I go to, but hands down. This is without question the Best damn burger place I've ever went to, best burgers I've ever had in my life. Poutine here is amazing too, would recommend this place to anybody looking for some real killer food in thunder bay.

Writing this review 1600km away wondering when I'm going to get another chance to rock my taste buds the way yall did.

From out of town, I like to try the local favorites. Business meeting and they suggested going to Montanas, but again to my first statement I searched travel advisor to find best ribs in town. Scrolled down the list a bit and this place stood out to me. Suggested it, and even our local business partner never heard of it. We figured we would try it. Best place I've ate in Thunder Bay! Ever! I've been visiting Thunder Bay for 30 years. Best ribs in town for sure! My asked for the rib sauce to be spicy please and they did a bang on job. Ribs were falling apart Awesome homemade cheesecakes too. Must try!
