This is nice place, a family can isolate there and enjoy their dinner! Yes, it is busy place, but people were polite, when someone did not line up, or just appear at the front of other person.
Service personnel was doing its job not disturbing us. They were fast with payments, offering to take birthday pics.
That was a lunch time, and we were there few times.
Parking was available, greeting at the entrance was on time.
One can take food out, and they doing delivery I think.
Yes, me and the family recommend this place.

My family and I came here to celebrate my daughters 2nd birthday, and the food, atmosphere, cleanliness and especially the service was fantastic! The staff was amazing towards us, very attentative, didn't rush us whatsoever! We are very happy! Thank you!

It’s always a pleasant atmosphere at the flagship location on Biscayne Crescent in Brampton. If you’ve never visited this location, put it on your bucket list. One room has an enormous fish tank, another has lorikeets. Today was seniors day and we always come in the evening. There were many birthdays being celebrated tonight. Our server was Fiona C. She was very pleasant and attentive, anticipating our request for more hot water for our oolong tea. Thanks always for the best Chinese Buffet.

The food was all excellent, with a huge variety of selections. The staff is all on their A-game, friendly, quick, and professional. If you bring an appetite, you will absolutely get your money's worth!

I like the food. It’s excellent. The place is clean and has friendly atmosphere. Been here twice a month. It’s one of my fave Chinese restaurant. Thumbs up to happy, fast & friendly David was our server during our recent dine in.

Overall, the restaurant is pretty good. Variety of food and main entree options have gone down. I had a slice of lamb and it was incredibly tough and dry. Not the best. Also the way the front of the house is handled should be improved. Everyone is bundled up in the lobby and there isn't really an order. Other than that, service and waiters were excellent; I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Stopped in for Mandarin in a Post Pandemic World. Small plates is an absolute no-go. The orders come through so slowly that they forget parts of your order. Service has not been to the same quality scale as pre-pandemic. The food was the same quality as before but the service really took a hit. Before there would be someone ready to fill your water cup before it was emptied. Now no one cares. I can only imagine the weekend buffet will be better as they likely have more staff but I haven't tried it out yet - and not sure if I will return yet.

Customers must be masked and gloved at buffet when handling utensils. Staff very cordial and helpful. Food excellent. Reservations help to avoid waiting for a table. Fabulous evening with family and friends

I genuinely have nothing bad to say about this location. Staff are incredibly friendly no matter what part of the store you’re in, everything is clean and Covid safe, and of course their food is delicious! 10/10

I love this Restaurant and my kids they love it is their best favourite restaurants because it has all the kind of food sweets ice cream’s and so organized clean the food taste great hi recommend it because even the price is reasonable

Only the presence of a black maitre d earned this rating. She was patient and understanding and offered suggestions/alternatives whereas the Asian she had to consult thought a draconian approach would alter our requests for minute variances to our order due to personal preferences. Worked out in the end.

Have been to the Mandarin many times and this is the first time I was disappointed. Roast was overdone and singapore noodles were very dry and not up to usual standard, just a couple examples. Service was excellent as usual

The best buffet experience I had. The best ever. Definitely loved their food they have so many vegetarian options and so much variety in anything and everything. It's back to normal All U Can Eat Buffet! Thank goodness, we're able to resume enjoying a wide selection of wonderful foods.
Proof of Covid vaccination required, masks on only when not at your table, sanitizing stations throughout, most everyone being cautious, and table spacing is very generous. I'm enjoying the Mandarin again!

JT took my order which I placed on Thursday of this past week. He was so helpful and so courteous that it really was refreshing.

When I got my order home, there was a very nice little personal message thanking me for my order which was just really sweet.

The food was fresh and delicious.

Mandarin has always been a family favourite and after the COVID lockdowns, I was very concerned we might not be able to return. Not only did Mandarin return, but returned with a vengeance! They have pivoted in a very unique and delicious way. We have eaten both the small plates and buffet and the quality and thoughtfulness I remember pre-Covid still shines in their dishes. Happy to be back!

We had the small eats lunch.
What we received did not match the diagrams. The caesar salad was drowning in cheap dressing. I couldn't eat it. The garlic shrimp was in the shell then covered in garlic from a jar so it had to be scraped off to get the shell off.
The server hardly spoke English and brought us 3x coffee cups and saucers and when she started putting them on our table, I said we hadn't ordered coffee. She glared at me and said, You ordered dessert.
We had ordered crème brûlé but what we received crème caramel with the sugar crust from the brûlé.
Will never go for small eats again.
I will wait until the West Brampton location is open again.

The food took nearly two hours to arrive (an hour to make before it was picked up by uber) and they forgot utensils. The food wasn't even good. It was some weird version of cantonese chow mein. The flavour wasn't right and not what I'd expect from a Chinese restaurant.

This was our second time at this Mandarin location, and we just loved it. The servers were super friendly and attentive. The eating areas are very clean, spacious and atmosphere is lovely. There are so much variety of food and everything is so fresh.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you dear Mandarin staff. You made my son's baptism reception a wonderful success. Ben, Emily, Deogo and the staff were excellent hosts that made everything about the event easy in every way. The food was excellent as always and the atmosphere was perfect. I want to say we were impressed by the services that were provided by this Mandarin Restaurant! We have been going as a family since 2013. Every time their location is clean, has beautiful decorations oh not to forget those Parrots? , fishes and Pandas, food is fresh, delicious and amazing and last but not the least everyone is caring. We came last night and was assisted by manager Bessie G and was served by Sam Y. They both made sure we all enjoyed our meal. We were all in love with their caring nature and courtesy. 100% recommended to all the food lovers since they have many options to choose from, food that everyone can enjoy. See you soon Mandarin especially because of Bessie and Sam.

It's been a long 10 months since the last dine in. Have been itching to eat out with friends to catch up and enjoy good food. Remembering the wonderful experience we had at Mandarin's "small plates" from last year, we've decided to head out to Brampton to check out the flagship restaurant as our friends live in Brampton. Never a disappointment at Mandarin, no matter which branch we choose, it's always superb customer service. Their standard "MUST HAVE" warm towels before eating and at the end to clean up. Clean paper bags for customers to put mask in. Small details usually tells me the careful planning Mandarin puts behind the scene, without needing to explore the commitment of fresh ingredients, I know that I AM in good hands and ready for a delectable and enjoyable evening. Prices are SO reasonable, nothing over $5.99, my favorite "Rib Eye Beef", "Short Ribs", their new "Orange Beef" and the many sushi dishes are so hard to choose. Wish I have 2 stomachs:) I am so glad Mandarin is still there as I've seen lots of restaurants gone out of business. Support your favorite local Mandarin restaurants if you are reading this and keep them going so that customers (me and many others) can enjoy good food. Thanks for the good work *MANDARIN* and thanks for keeping things going during difficult times!

Staff was great well polite. The service was good. Relaxing. Food was still great even they served you buffet. Still hot quick.

I think I've grown taller by a couple of inches as I've been stretching my neck waiting for stage 3 to open so that I can go and enjoy the YUMMY "Small Eats" dishes from Mandarin 10 months ago. Have been salivating every time I thought of the "melt in your mouth" Grilled Rib Eye Steak, "Finger Licking" Honey Garlic Spareribs as well as Black Pepper Steak. Finally, Stage 3 comes around last week, I was able to satisfy my craving. Went with a group of 6. The usual standard of warm towels to clean before our food arrived. Paper bags to put our masks. With all tables in the room taken, we don't feel crowded as tables were far apart and we felt very safe. Start with Fancy Healthy Drinks to set the tone. The many varieties of Sushi made me realized how indecisive I actually am:) I ordered all of them plus many other dishes too long to list. At the end even when we were full, there's always room for desserts, so we "FORCED" ourselves to eat my favorite Creme Brulee, Cream Caramel, Banana Split, Cherry Cheesecake and my husband's "HEALTHY" Chocolate Dream. Another round of warm towels to clean up before we leave. And we had 8 take out boxes to bring home. Excellent service by all servers. We had a FANTASTIC evening, caught up with all the latest with friends. We were in the Fish Room where a wall to wall aquarium filled with exotics fish. We saw colorful birds in another room. And lots of huge Koi fish swimming in the front pond. What a scene!

Your small eats allows us to order a variety of food to enjoy. The sushi was so fresh and filling, truly restaurant quality. The lemon chicken and kung pao chicken were very delicious, we ordered double of each. The outer coating was crispy and inside the meat was tender and juicy. For dessert, the banana split could feed the whole table and the creme brulee was the best I've had in years.

Went Aug 2021. Covid protocol is temp check and scan a GS1 barcode on door that prompts you to answer Covid related questions then show confirmation. The set up is pretty much the same. A few less items but nothing significant missing. Because of the reduced capacity lots of room where the food is. No big crowds of people. I have been to Mandarin Brampton probably 40 times and it's still pretty much the same. You do serve yourself on both large stations. Meat and Sushi stations the same thing. Only real difference is that if you want ice cream they will scoop it. And deserts are now already plated so you just take a plate. All around its very much like what you were accustomed too prior to Covid but alot more room. I suggest you reserve right when it opens 11: 30 for best results. Great to see Mandarin Buffett return to "normal". Always worth the 25.99. Welcome back to the GTA's best known Buffet! I missed you much.

Love the place. The servers/staff are very nice. Overall, good food, great quality. I love the creme brulee, it's delicious and my main reason to actually visit the location! To the staff: Please don't let creme brulee disappear from the platter! Last time, it was still 20-22mins.left to 3pm and platter was empty already.

I was regularly going to Mandarin at this branch for weekly take out since the start of the pandemic lock down in March to around mid-May. I stopped going regularly in May and started coming once every one-two months for takeout again because of the increase in prices.

The food is your typical Americanized Asian food. However, it is very delicious, cooked consistently always, and the servings are always close to the same. I am very happy with the delicious food. 5/5

The staff is all very friendly and very kind. The food is served quickly and I am always greeted by staff with strong customer service skills. I was really impressed with the precautions that were taken at the start of the pandemic - Mandarin seemed to be ahead of all of the other restaurants in the GTA. Great job! 5/5

The prices are quite high. You are paying for premium, however I do not think that the prices are worth it given what is available at other restaurants. The prices were great before mid-May at the start of the lock down, but after the increase in mid-May, I decided it was no longer worth coming back regularly. 3/5

Best buffet and trained staff around. Food is always fresh and plentiful. Great Canadian Chinese buffet with Canadian taste palate in mind. The dessert bar is so beautiful our out of town friends take tourist pics. Not for those seeking authentic mainland or Cantonese dishes.

Place, environment, cleanliness and staff response are excellent. Variety of food available which covers continental food with good quality and perfect taste. Never experienced indigestion or bad effect after dinner. Fully satisfied and enjoyed every time with family.

4 Stars because it's a beautiful location! The BBQ Rib eye steak was AMAZING the Indian guy and tall Asian guy are really nice friendly guys and very good with the grill! The only thing I didn't like was the servers after a while they don't care about their guests instead looks like they just want to get rid of you by not taping water up and taking forever to take the plates. The manager should train them better and not be greedy to get more people out so they can make more tips to me that's disgusting and makes me not want to come back after a while even though I loved the BBQ.

Tremendous selection of dishes (Chinese and several others) in the buffet Easily the biggest Chinese buffet I've ever been to. Absolutely no one should go home hungry.

In addition to buffet, they have made to order sushi and decent selection of mixed drinks.

Decor is good (middle class) and the place is decent at accommodating big parties.

The place is not cheap but the buffet is huge and service (drinks, clearing used plates, etc) is much better than the average restaurant.

IMO this is the best Mandarin location in the GTA. You get that sense of just a little bit extra effort from all the staff, plus the location is much better aesthetically compared to the rest. Would highly recommend checking out this location if you’ve never been before.

Short wait time even on a Friday night at 6pm with no reservation. Walked in was top 30-45 mins and it was only 10! Very polite staff, good food! What more can you ask.

This is my favorite location. Sweet and sour chicken balls, honey garlic chicken wings, and soft noodles:) my favs and only they make it the way I like it.

My favourite! We do our work Christmas party here every year. Always have a good time, the buffet is great, hot and sour soup is the best here you have to try it, very good service and reasonable prices!

Definitely a 5 star experience! I came today with my parents and it was already busy at 1PM which is always a good sign. The food was great, fresh and hot. The one thing I definitely wanted to note was the service! I don’t think I’ve ever had service that good before. My waitress was Emile and the helper Ben were both incredible. Both so friendly, kind, efficient, quick, and accommodating. The refills were so quick, the plate take away was quick but not too quick like some places. Emile especially brought out a shrimp salad dish for me that is in the evening menu, only because I love it so much! I really appreciate the service; if you’re paying that much for a plate, it’s nice that the food and service is great. As for the place itself, definitely the nicest Mandarin I’ve been to, not one staff member didn’t say hi or welcome to me, and the bathrooms were so clean. This location is way better than others, especially better than the one near where I live (Oshawa).

The staff was all over the place, they ran out of coca cola, the staff was always in a hurry and kept forgetting to bring spoons, straws etc. We were a party of 20 people which I had booked 4 weeks in advance and we arrive there and had to sit on separate tables because they had not prepared the table for our party. It was a disaster. Never again!

This is the Mandarin Restaurant chain's head office and show piece. It is literally the best Chinese buffet restaurant I have ever been to.

The food is good and brought out constantly so it's never in the tray too long. The variety and choices are amazing. You can have a great meal and never even eat Chinese food if you choose. The restaurant setting is as though someone dropped a restaurant in the middle of a Chinese garden.

If you have given up on Chinese buffet restaurants because of poor quality or selection you owe it to yourself to try this particular Mandarin location before you make it final, I don't think you will be disappointed.

I particularly enjoyed talking with the employee stationed behind the counter at the area where you can load up on steak and other meats. He was enthusiastic, helpful and showed real pride in his job and restaurant.

Always go here for Birthday Celebrations for the past 10 years. Always a good experience

Going there this weekend for a family member who is visiting Canada for the first time. He’s going to love it.

Delicious food, excellent service each time I've gone. This most recent time they added a sushi ordering option via tablet for some torched and specialty rolls not previously available, and they're delivered right to your table. Go hungry - you won't regret it!

Absolutely horrid experience. We waited for a full hour to be seated even though we had made resevations. While waiting we ordered drinks at the bar and the bartender made our drinks with coke in one glass and rum in the other because the coke was flat. $40 per person for below average food and then we had to wait half an hour for our bill! Do not host events here it will ruin your special night!

Can be very crowded at busy times, with waiting area full. Food was very good - a high volume buffet like this ensures the food is fresh and plentiful, and the staff are very active replenishing the trays and keeping things clean and tidy. Reasonable value for the money (though lighter eaters might not get their money's worth.

Good selection, decent food, average prices. If your hungry and not looking for a 5 star meal it is definitely the place to go. 4 stars all a round, worth the price for an all you can eat buffet.

A couple of days ago my family and I attended the Mandarin Restaurant located at 238 Biscayne Cres in the city of Brampton. We were there to celebrate my Mothers birthday. What a mistake. I had asked for them to put us in such an area that would accommodate my mother who has mobility issues and requires a walker. They screwed up and placed us in an area that does not allow for a walker or wheelchair. Then we had to wait to be seated. The table that they put us at was right in the way of traffic. It didn't matter where we put her, she was getting hit by people walking by. The food did not have the typical freshness that use to be their norm where the flavour and substance was just amazing. It was more bland and some items tasted burnt. The mussels were dried right out. There was a mix up with my mother and the celebration. Forgot the ID. The waiter tried arguing the fact with me about proof of ID and I totally get it. And I just told him that I would pay for the meal and not to worry. And that it was my error. Well I paid. Not even a seniors / or child discount. The service wasn't as it use to be as well. $220.00 paid for 6 people (no alcohol) and a lousy time had by all.

When you have first time visitors from out of town and they are famish, this is a good place to dine. They have a wide variety of food option to choose from so regardless of your dietary needs I think you will find something to satisfy your needs. A mixture of the butternut squash and clam chowder soup was delicious. Overall, our party was happy with the dining experience. I gave this a four because it's very pricey.

I absolutely loved a visit to this restaurant with my family. The food was quite good; I took a little bit of everything. The labels seem to overestimate the intensity of spice however, as supposedly spicy dishes like their chicken turned out to be nearly mild for me. Great sushi, great moon cakes (although I'm no expert with those) and a great time overall!
