Terrific food. Excellent service from Van and Reiggie and Gaby. Van went the extra mile and treated for our tea. Made us feel very welcome.

Good food and comfortable environment, definitely should try it if you haven't, Dwight and Tom helped us and almost knew what we wanted before we asked, they are just too good

The food was fresh and delicious and the service was superb as usual with any Mandarin location I've been to.

I only gave 4 s for atmosphere because there was no, "Welcome to the Mandarin" as we walked in and I couldn't hear any music playing.

Overall though this location deserves 5 's.

I have ordered dinner for 5 people over the phone at 7.30 pm and went to pickup at 8.05 pm, but the restaurant was closed already and the website says it closes at 9.30pm. No one informed. Felt so bad

Actually really good pricey but was nice and fresh and shrimp fried rice was loaded with shrimp. Chicken wings were really good.

The variety and quantity is hard to beat. Combine that with your free birthday meal by registering online and you can't beat it.

We haven’t been in Mandarin Kingston for more than 2 years and we had a great experience tonight. The food is always great with high quality but we’re writing tonight to thank Samantha and Vaan for the great service and attention they gave us.we hope to come back soon!

It was a relaxing lunch. Buffet not open but very good prices for what we ordered off menu to feed 3 people

Currently serving what they call small eats on weekdays. I honestly would say they are better than the buffet. The folks in the kitchen know their stuff and the food and the service is fantastic. Bonus, there are no crowds.

First time going to the buffet since covid started. (Did take out though).
Felt very safe eatting there. Wear your mask and gloves while up at the buffet. Mask off to eat, and new gloves every time you go back up.

Parfait le meilleur buffet de ma vie délicieux. The best. Félicitations divers variétés en légumes, en soupes, sushis, des desserts forêt noir.gâteau fromage, tarte et gâteau au citron bœuf, porc, des variétés salades, croissants, rôtisseur sur place, bar, smoothies, frites? Impossible de goûter à tout car beaucoup de variétés. Les toilettes super propres belles de luxes.propre partout même des gants pour nous chaque fois qu’on va se servir.tapis propre.la serveuse vient au quelques minutes enlever les assiettes vides. Une lave les chaises et table après utilisation. Un bel accueil en arrivant. Il n’y a pas de crabe pour le buffet mais de délicieuses crevettes. Je vais offrir à notre fils pour son anniversaire de mariage d’y aller.on espère que tout vos Mandarin seront à la même qualité partout. Le propriétaire m’a dit qu’il y a 3 à Ottawa avec d’autres propriétaires la bas. Ce Mandarin n’est pas du tout associé au Mandarin de Mtl. Oui ce restaurant est un peu dispendieux pour nous mais oh ce faire gâter on le mérite de temps en temps. Félicitations vendredi 2 sept 2021 Nous y retournerons Aurevoir.

À chaque fois qu'on visite l'Ontario pour des vacances on doit planifier un arrêt à Kingston spécialement pour aller manger au Mandarin, aujourd'hui on a passé en après midi, l'accueil est toujours spécial et chaleureux, à cause de la Covid ils ont inventé un concept "manger à la carte" et le buffet traditionnel est disponible du vendredi au dimanche, ce nouveau concept est génial, le tout est frais et chaud et délicieux, je les félicite d'avoir pensé à ce concept et j'espère revenir une autre fois, je le recommande fortement.

Coming to Mandarin is always an amazing experience and I never leave without a smile on my face! The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming and really do a good job at ensuring everyones satisfaction. Not to mention they also enforce great Covid protocols that help make sure everyone is enjoying their food in a safe environment. I also love the addition of small eats, I believe its great for people who like to eat in calmer atmospheres. Overall the food quality remains as exceptional as always and I enjoy every visit!

The food and staff are very nice, they keep the place very clean and its great for birthdays or anniversary's.

The food was very good and the staff are really welcoming, they do a great job with keeping the place clean and following covid protocols from the temperature check when you come in and making sure we follow the sighs on the floor around the buffet also using every other table makes you feel a lot better during this time, i do also like that they have added small eats Monday to Thursday

Great buffet, felt safe with the covid protocols. Only problem was getting pants to fit properly afterwards.

Both the food and staffs here are supper nice! I do really enjoy the prime ribs and salmon here. And I celebrated my friend's birthday last night, staff here prepared the birthday meal and took picture for us.

We absolutely love the small eats, this was a perfect addition to an already excellent restaurant. We love going here the staff are all super friendly.

If you order takeout make sure to open it all up while there or in your car so you can run back inside to get it fixed right away. They messed ours up, they said they would look into it. Weeks then months went on and we heard nothing ever again.

During Covid, we have opted to order takeout. The Mandarin has always had wonderful food, but we've been hesitant to go in.

The food is still great for the quality and quantity you get. We usually really enjoy it. However we are disappointed that they do not offer delivery to many parts of Kingston within the city limits. We would be willing to pay a slightly higher delivery fee as we realize mileage/time is money, however they do not offer this either. When looking online, you can order through UberEats, but the Mandarin is not available on other platforms such as Skipthedishes, doordash, etc.making options somewhat limited to those of us who don't drive. Hopefully their outreach will increase soon because they have great food!

I just got such an amazing feast from the Mandarin, it's currently dumpling festival for the Lunar New Year and they are all so delicious. I can't wait until the eat-in restaurant is back so I can have their crab legs again.

Really impressed by the service here! I was running late from work and arrived there 45 minutes late for my pickup. My food was out already but the manager said he's willing to re-cook it for me so it'd be fresh! Got home with hot, fresh, yummy food! Thank you for your awesome service and terrific food! Will definitely order again!

Had a wonderful experience of Chinese food at mandarin restaurant Kingston. We enjoyed our new year with their delicious and good quality food. I would like to taste their all other dishes in future.

I usually order take out since i dont do cooking much and when i want to eat chinese food, i always choose Mandarin. I love their black pepper steak, lemon chicken, shanghai noodles and their hot and sour soup. Furthermore, if i have friends coming over, i do order in mandarin always because they have huge selection of menu items which means, i have more food varieties to offer my friends. And guess what? You can order online already.that means no more waiting in the line on busy days. Very convenient.anyway, Can’t wait when your buffet will open again.

We love Chinese food for New Years and have had takeout in the past from Mandarin, today was a disappointment as the complete order was cold and it was apparent made earlier in the day as the fried items had time to soak the box even though we picked up at the appointed time. Our meal came more as a put together yourself meal except for the broccoli and beef which was the only dish with flavour. We understand New Years is a busy time however would have expected food that had taste and perhaps not prepared earlier in the day. Not a way to keep customers coming back.

I ordered food on christmas eve and it came kinda late, but I understand because I think it is busy that time. It is good that Mandarin is open in holiday and that’s what I love in that restaurant. Also the food I ordered were fresh and taste really good. I will give five stars in it and Im really a fan of it!

Ordered take-out online on new years eve. Showed up and as expected, they were super busy (about 45 people lined up). The staff did an excellent job expediting completed orders and because I had ordered mine earlier in the day, I didn't have to wait more than a few minutes. The quality of food was excellent especially with how busy they were. My wife and I were very impressed overall with the price, staff and quality. Well done.

I would like to appreciate kingston Mandarin kitchen staff who make tasty and good quality Chinese food. Our family is enjoying their food from years.

We ordered Chinese food from the Mandarin Kingston. From the pleasant voice on the other end of the phone to the wonderful delivery driver.all was a great experience! Will definitely order again

I've been to the Mandarin Restaurant on many occasions, and have had nothing but positive experiences. The staff is very friendly and professional. The food is always delicious at the buffet and on the menu. I had to order from the menu because of the covid restrictions, and it was delicious. The restaurant is always clean and welcoming. I absolutely love this restaurant!

First, they do not deliver everywhere in the city. And if you order through Uber eats, they will not provide ANY support. All you get is, I'm sorry, we can't do anything, you have to go through the App. No customer service at all. And frankly not the best value for the price.

Had a wonderful experince enjoying the chinese cusine from mandarin restaurent at kingston location. Enjoyed our christmas with the dishes from mandarin. The food delivered was hot and Delicious. I would like to explore more from the mandarin menu

Standard bad chinese food. Food was cold. Chicken fried rice was such a disappointment. It looks like they threw chicken in some premade rice and called it a day. The sweet and sour pork was so breaded I'm not sure if there was pork in it. They dumped the sauce on the top, no veggies. Wontons in the wonton soup were undercooked. They gave us some 'free' sweet treats and I actually gagged.

The delivery was a little bit late but the service and the food was great. It was a busy time and there are less restaurants open in Kingston right now so it is understandable. Would highly recommend!

Have loved Mandarin since it came to Kingston. Went there frequently. I want to help businesses thru this difficult time, and have ordered take-out occasionally thru pandemic. At least one dish has been inedible every time, (watery soup, overcooked leftover dumplings numerous times, watered down gravy, etc.) but always have given them another chance. Ordered takeout 2020-12-12, and NEVER again! Watered down wonton soup, no steak in the black pepper steak, terrible fishy taste in the torpedo shrimp, chicken fried rice was not fresh and bbq ribs chewy. So disappointed. Prices have went up substantially since Covid, which is to be expected.but will not tolerate such poor quality food.

We ordered takeout this evening and the meal was fresh and all of the dishes tasted great. I would have given 5 stars but the food was cool when I got it home, about a 15 minute drive.

Not liking the new menu plan. I'd rather have a reduced price for the buffet and have to pay for each plate delivery since covid-19 is a risk.

Love this place. Service is top notch. Food has amazing flavors. Lots to choose from. Buffet is the best. Good for quick dinner or family get togethers.

Great service and atmosphere but both times I have been there I have been sick afterwards. Not sure if they cook the bean sprouts long enough. Unfortunately we will not be returning to this restaurant for Chinese food in the future.

Got our food deliver and very impressed with the fast delivery service. The food was hot and very good. Plenty of food and lots for next nights supper. Very impressed and will be ordering again. ️
