Mango Sushi Japanese Food Restaurant

Was out for a walk along the Danforth. I always drive past this joint and see people inside. Today I tried a few items and sushi. It’s just not the quality or flavour for me. Maybe someone else

Would recommend for take out only. Dont be fooled by the tables there, they make you take away your trash and have very poor customer service from the younger employee. For that reason I can’t recommend this place

Been open a few months now, food quality went down, prices went up. It was good while it lasted.

Grabbed the meal deal just now and you get proper meal for $13.50 after tax. (The big flat containers, not those narrow ones). Chicken fried rice as the default, two items and a drink. Chicken balls are a bit doughy but the sweet and sour pork was spot on. Looking forward to the rest of the menu

I really love this sushi and could eat it all the time, the quality and price are top notch.

Ordered from Uber at 10.11pm May 9th. Total after free delivery is 21.50$. Combination for one that comes with chicken fried rice and a few options to pick 2 from. I choose sesame chicken and cheese wonton. Buy one get one free spring rolls. Drink is included. First of all everything is bitter from old oil. Sesame chicken has no sesame seeds on it and has a drizzle of sauce? Wontons are in fact chicken wings! Spring rolls are under cooked. They also tasted bitter from the oil. I took a few bites considering I worked all day and was starving but instantly regretted it. Never heard my stomach so loud and bloated. This “wonderful” meal included: 2 complementary, crushed fortune cookies, one packet of soy sauce, 2 packs of plum sauce. There was no note included for missing ingredients or items nor did the restaurant contact me to ask if I would still like my order with their choice of replacements. I only ever write reviews if I really like a place or really dislike it. This one was a no brainer. Disastrous. Nail in the coffin from a first bite. Cheers.

I stopped in here for a quick meal to take home. Food is cooked fresh and the manager seems to take service quite seriously. He was meticulous with his preparation and made sure it was packed well. I had the special 1 meat and rice, and I can't say it was the best value, but at least it wasn't covered in sauce and overly battered. I don't understand the name, mango sushi? Is it a Chinese restaurant or Japanese sushi place? I find the line is blurred and the food leans more towards it being an interpretation of authentic "Chinese" food. Regardless, it is nice to see a small independent food service make its way to this neck of the woods. It's clean, and food is cooked at the time of order. It's better for take out rather than dining in. Overall it's good for a quick meal on the go.

It's very tasty and fresh sushi and rolls. Good and fast service:) We ordered for the first time, and we were satisfied.

Super cozy and the food is very very yummy, and good quality (which was very surprising considering how affordable it is)! Will most definitely be back soon

Richard and his team do a great job! Sushi was fresh, delicious and a feast for the eyes as well as our stomachs. We'll definitely be back!

I have already been here twice this month! Delicious cheap sushi! Their fried rice was okay but it's also BOGO free. I will be back many more times for the sushi. The avocado in the rolls was the most perfect ripeness. All the ingredients were really fresh. They can prepare the order pretty quickly and service was really friendly too when I went to pickup.

I recommend calling the restaurant to order so that they don't lose money to Uber fees (and you won't either for pickup).

Good food, great price, good experience. I have never had a bad experience and nothing bad to say about this restaurant.
