The receptionist is rude, and there never seems to be anyone in there to be honest. They great customer service when they first opened but I don't know what is happening with them now.
They said they accept walk-in but finally we have to call to register.we arrived at 9: 50am on Sunday. Waited until 10: 10am. The business hours sign was still off. And then we called, and I was told that I must call to register, no walk-in available. And no doctor inside. After I left my info, no one called back.
My experience with Dr. Raveendran over the years has been as polarized as the reviews here.
He became my family doctor shortly after he opened his practice. For a while, he was kind, attentive, and caring. However, that changed after he started to squeeze in as many patients as possible, leading to overbooking and unfulfilled appointments (e.g, empty promises of “the doctor will call you”).
Nowadays, more often than not, Dr. Raveendran is interruptive, impatient, and otherwise disrespectful. He also gets very defensive very fast, especially when you mention that other clinics have been able to do things that he says are not doable (such as referrals).
In short: go elsewhere. I’m genuinely disappointed that my family doctor of many years is now just a shadow of who he used to be.
The receptionist told me they have a female doctor over the phone but when I went in she said "only male doctors in this clinic". All this could have been avoided if she was less rude and would actually listen instead of rushing me and sighing during the phone call!
Dr. Raveendran has been our family doctor for 3 years. His questions during consultation are inquisitive enough to answer our questions regarding the illness, but so far, the front desk calls back when we have further inquiries post-consultations. During pandemic he still sees patients virtually. So call when thinking to see him, the front desk will take down patient’s name and Dr. Raveendran will call back, but he uses a cell phone not ID-ed as his clinic name. So do pick up if you see an unknown number calling after making an appointment, it might just be Dr. Raveendran:)
Bad experience with Dr Raveendran. He does not listen to your concerns and constantly interrupts. He does not have the patience to let someone talk through their symptoms and conditions. Rushes to finish the appointment.
Also, I specifically asked for a tablet-type medication, but he gave me a prescription for capsule form which I specifically said I cannot do. Again, he does not listen and does not care.
The Manhattan clinic was open for phone consultation when so many others wouldn't take my call, wouldn't take new patients or were closed. Dr. Raveendran helped me and was very easy to talk with.
Terrible experience, booked an appointment for the very first.the doctor was yelling because I told him I’m going to be late for 5 minutes? As I was having hard time locating his office. Very terrible pls don’t come here just to get yelled at.
Dr. Raveendran is an incredibly friendly and welcoming doctor. My wife and I have been with him about 7 years, and we have reason to go anywhere else. Thank you doctor!
Dr. Ranveedran is very rude and is not practicing with beneficence. I mispronounced one medication I was taking and he said “and you say you are in a professional School. ” He also told me to just go back to my family doctor next time. Well, there definitely will be no next time, even when my family doctor is closed. When you go to the doctors you would expect someone who cares and wants to help you instead of someone who patronizes you.
Me and my friend went here for a basic checkup And they refused to do anything other walk in clinics or ANY walk in clinic is supposed to do. The Indian man working has no interest in his job or my health what so ever. I highly suggest not going here for your own sake, he told my friend he was giving her a prescription (without doing any check up) because “she waited to so long” When I told him other walk ins had no problem doing the check up his reply was “ must have been a better walk in” They just need to shut down at this point.
The receptionist told me they have a female doctor over the phone but when I went the receptionist said "only doctors male in this clinic". All this could have been avoided if the receptionist was less rude and would actually listen instead of rushing and sighinh during the phone call!
The doctor was very nice and actually spent some time with me. I appreciated the fact that he recommended simple solutions for me to do - in order to reduce the overall medication.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst doctor experience of my life. Sexist, unprofessional, uncomfortable. Three words that characterized my interaction with Dr. Ranveedran. Would not let me speak, constantly interrupted, wrote down symptoms I explicitly stated I did not possess. Tried to explain previous medical history to provide context for my visit, and he repeatedly stated that my previous doctors were not "above him". Not sure such an insecure man should be practicing medicine.
Dr Raveendran is a sincere doctor, always listens to us (family), and try to find out how he could help us. He gives referral to other expert efficiently, so the wait time to expert doctors are not painfully long. I'm happy we find him to look after us.
The whole experience with this doctor was unprofessional. From waiting until you see him. I think their is only one doctor and he want to be finished quickly also he seems like don't care about your pain or sickness. He is in the professional for money not for service.
He doesnt know what he's doing. Stay away. He's always in rush to have more patients in time. And don't expect to get referal cuz he won't give you one.
Best medical help I have ever received. The doctor was patient and very kind. Would definitely recommend and come again when there is the need. Thanks to everyone at this office for being so kind.
A small suburban plaza with clinics, restaurants, and other stores. A few more parking spots would be great, but whoever built this plaza should have allocated extra space for this purposes. Too late now!
