Used this transport company too ship a transmission from Ottawa Ontario too Chase BC. Transmission was securely strapped too a pallet for transport. Transmission arrived in pieces, pallet broken. Companies only liability is. 50 on the pound. Terrible. Out of pocket $1300.00. Thank you very much. Last time I use these guys

Called Manitoulin Transport to arrange for a dozen boxes to be dropped off at their Ottawa terminal, ready for shipping to NS. I was told they no longer accept boxes unless they are already palletized at the Ottawa terminal, and could not tell me which adjacent terminals may be able to provide such a service. I guess I should go back and tell all the people how great this company USED to be.
I’ve never dealt with a transport company before for personal items, but had about a dozen variously sized boxes that needed to be shipped to the Maritimes. Everyone was so helpful, from the CSR and billing clerk on the phone, to the office folks and all the guys on the loading dock (as I miscounted the boxes an embarrassing # of times!). Thank you Manitoulin Transport for making the process easy and fun!
