Manotick Medical Centre (Services for Enrolled Patients ONLY)

The doctors here are so amazing, kind, knowledgeable, and professional, thank you to them. However to get to them you have to go through reception which is hit and miss. Some of the receptionists are also kind and professional and will do they're very best to help you. Some however are cold, rude, dismissive, and treat patients like a nuisance. It's like playing russian roulette every time you call. I can see from the other reviews my negative experiences with reception are not unique to me.

I have been a patient at the Manotick Medical Centre since my physician, Dr. Barbara Yeats moved there a number of years ago. Dr. Yeats is an exceptional doctor, and always goes beyond the call of duty for her patients. I know how lucky I am to have her.
I would also like to acknowledge the professional, friendly and welcoming team who work alongside the doctors in the office. From the moment you walk through the door, you feel the caring and attentive culture that everyone nurtures. Questions are answered, phone calls are returned, (thank you so much Kim for your call and your humour). You never feel like you are imposing or asking a silly question.
Thank you for taking such care with all of us who are lucky enough to be patients at Manotick Medical Centre.

The doctors are generally nice. But it takes a really long time to see a doctor or get results back. The desk staff is almost always horrible.when you call they're often rude and they never pickup the phones, or you wait on hold forever and then they just hangup on you and dont call back.

Also, its been a bit better recently, but in the past they were always at least an hour behind schedule and would make you wait forever in the waiting room and never apologize. You can still expect them to be 30 minutes late. Then if youre 5 mins late for an appointment they charge you $50. They can be really difficult to work with. Often they don't answer their phones when they're supposed to. And I think Iv had twice that they contaminated my pee sample. With my old doctor it was rlly hard to get her to write me a prescription. I saw another doctor before that wasnt that nice. My current doctor is very nice though.

PROS: the place is clean, some doctors are nice CONS: never on time, takes forever to get an appointment, desk staff not friendly at all, charge you for things they shouldn't. I wouldnt recommend this place.

I’ve been a patient here for many years. The staff are very friendly and well organized and I have never waited more than a few minutes for a scheduled appointment. Lucky to have found this clinic!

This medical centre is amazing in all aspects. They have a very efficient and easy to use portal to communicate with doctors. Also we can upload documents in the portal. The response time is within few hours. The staff are very accomodative, polite, understanding and caring. Can't say enough about them. Doctors are too good. In my experience, my family doctor and anyone replacing her, listen to my concerns and takes time to make me understand in simple terms, which I think is very important. They always make sure all vaccines are up to date and also recommend about follow up appointment. Overall I should say I don't see any area where this medical centre is to improve as they are great in all regards. Thank you for being their for your patients with a caring heart.

What a breath of fresh air when I call and speak to Kimberley! Thank you dear for always being proactive and up! Specially in today's times, it is a pleasure to have people like you taking care of our appointments and other related issues!
