Mansion House Restaurant and Bar

Went for a birthday party and the guests all complained about the food or they got the wrong meal, some people including the guest of honour was the last to receive their meal which was stone cold. We had a reservation for a month before. Never will anyone of us ever go back. Extremely disappointed!

Worst place in town! Went for drink at 10pm the bartender was super rude telling me I coud order one drink only! What a joke!

Your response is factually untrue. I was apart of a large Christmas party which was being held in the front (restaurant side) of your establishment. When it finished up a group of us headed to the bar for an extra couple drinks. When we arrived at the bar the bar just before 10pm the bartender informed us that she had already called last call as they were only supposed to be open till 10pm but that she would allow us to order one drink each. As I had intended on buying the round for everyone I began to give the drink orders. I started with myself and ordered a Ceaser to which the bartender replied "Im not making that it takes to long". I then proceeded to order a michalob for one of the members of our group and the bartender shouted "I said one drink each, I am not allowing you to order drinks for this person or that person". At that time our group just walked out. We certainly did not demand to be served and at this point we could clearly see the signs of a very poorly run business and choose to spend our money elsewhere and think that other people should choose to do the same. Hence the review.

Very nice little place. Restaurant is cozy and nicely renovated. Food is tasty and staff is friendly! Prices are very reasonable. It's worth a visit!

Awesome experience at this bar it's alot of good music I rate this bar as something that you should definitely go to I rate it 100 out of 100 If that was a thing but I love this bar good people working there and nice people and nice atmosphere to deffentley go to

This is the first time we've been there. Fully reno pub with various coctails and drinks. Mansion House has pleasant atmosphere, and live music for weekends. The staff are warm-welcoming and very polite. We had a fun night there. We'll definately come back there with our friends.

We contacted the New owners with a request to host a “Steak and Beans” event at the restaurant. The event was a celebration of a sales contest where the winners ordered Steak and the less fortunate ate beans (we let them all have steak). They embraced the task and prepared the table with paper cloth on the beans end and fine dining at the other. Having the staff participate in our fun made it a memorable experience. We had a great time and the food was excellent.

Mansion house won't be in business for long under this new management. Went last night and tried to order food after 9: 00pm, however they closed the kitchen. Legally food must be available if they are serving drinks.which they were until 1am. When I told the bartender they have to have something available, even simple deep fried foods. She told me I was wrong.clearly none of their staff have done their smart serve. During this discussion the lady tried to tell me that if they're selling take out drinks that legally all they have to serve is a peppermint.not my question but okay.one week in and they're already arguing with hungry customers. Definitely won't be coming back

Great atmosphere,! The Owners a blast and the food and cocktail are solid.got a nice patio out back as well.

Had a great time here last night! The food was SO delicious! My steak was cooked to perfection and I ordered strawberry champagne cheesecake for dessert - WOW! Great service and ambiance. Will be going back again.

I tried to pay my tab and leave with my property and was accused of stealing my own jacket. The owner thinks he is a police officer or something.he thinks has the right to demand proof and try to block me from exiting the building. He has violent patrons there that are looking to gang up on people on his property. He did try to apologize but at that point it was too late he should of took my word for it and called the police if he actually thought I was stealing.

Haven’t been to the mansion in YEARS but I saw they renovated the whole thing so I thought I would give it a go. Went on a Sunday for dinner, it was EMPTY. The server was very nice but not very knowledgeable about the menu yet, they are new so I understand. We ordered two drinks, a Caesar and a lemonade drink. They took a very long time to get to us since the bar is in the back but when we did get them they were VERY good. We ordered an appetizer, the grilled calamari, it was pretty good, a bit chewy but the flavours were good. I ordered the filet and my friend ordered the shrimp pasta. The steak was cooked as I ordered but it didn’t really have a sear on the outside. The mashed potatoes were basic and the grilled veggies were sad. The shrimp pasta was also pretty basic, the shrimp itself was good but the pasta was boring, basic buttered noodles. Overall it wasn’t bad by any means it was just “meh”. Not worth the 80$ I paid. The highlight was definitely the drinks.

This is an historic establishment in Sutton that still operates a restaurant in front and a bar in back. Friendly staff and good wing deals on Wednesdays

New ownership and already they've alienated the regulars and when I say regulars, I mean count on these people EVERY day; not now, they've all fled
They are undergoing/planning on extensive renovations to the front restaurant (which has never been a money maker) and clearly have raised prices to pay for this - from a purely business standpoint it's a terrible idea.this is a historic location yes but also a summer tourist destination and that means revenue dries up after October
Listen, I'm not a huge chain restaurant fan and ALWAYS support local but if I can get a 20 oz Stella at a place like Chuck's Roadhouse (regular price) why in the world would I pay over $11 for the same item in a dark dingy, smells like a** bar?
