Loved the raspberry! The chocolate could have had more dulce de leche. Overpriced tho, they could give tastings… 1 or 2 (they don’t)

Had the Rose Water and Chocolate Hazelnut. Rose water was nice and light, refreshing. Chocolate Hazelnut is rich, but not overwhelming.

Ice cream is really good but overpriced especially that the staff looks miserable and don’t want to be there, making you feel unwanted or uncomfortable… a smile goes along way from the owner to her employees

I came here as I had hoped to enjoy some ice cream while discussing something with a friend, I opened my laptop to show him what I was talking about and the staff came to use and insisted on enforcing a strict policy against laptop use, disregarding our need to access important information. Their inflexibility and lack of accommodation was disappointing and made us feel undervalued as customers. Their ice cream is ok while incredibly overpriced…. I would recommend seeking out a more accommodating and customer-focused place.

Fancy atmosphere! We shared a double flavour selection of vegan gelato (peach, and blueberry). Really nice treat on a hot day! Comfortable place for a rest after lots of walking.

Over priced, gelato has an artificial flavor, it’s unfortunate you are not able to taste before you buy at this price point.

I stopped in today to special order two cakes for a birthday Wednesday and they were very accommodating. I also left with an affogato and a cake pop. A great business worth supporting.

The riches of this gelato extend past the taste. The service is elegant as is the space. All the flavors are yummy and the coffee is fantastic. There are a lot of fine details that have been considered and we enjoyed it on this hot Ottawa day. Thank you, Mantovani.

It's one of the best gelato of my life! I just loved the gelato and the store vibe! We had chocolate, hazelnut, and espresso geloto, and all of them were great!

We went here for gelato during a very busy time on the opening weekend of the tulip festival. We were served very promptly and with a smile even though they were dealing with a lot of customers. I was surprised they were still willing to tell me what was in some of the gelatos and were continuously friendly and accommodating throughout! Next the gelato: it’s absolutely terrific. Honestly, I don’t know why people go to that other gelato place when this one is available. It’s clearly handmade by them and so authentically Italian. My boyfriend and I even found a comfortable table to sit at and really enjoyed our time eating our gelato. We’ll be back for sure.

This is the best gelato in ottawa. We loved the place and it's Italian vibes. That's my go to whenever we're in the area. They have plenty of flavours, we tried 14 flavours and all of them were amazing. I couldn't take more photos as the place was busy. However, they have plenty of seating. We will definitely visit again.

I have only tried their chocolate gelato and tiramisu but both were absolute delight right off the bat. I love their tiramisu, it is nothing I have ever tried before. So when my sister was around the area at one time, I asked her to buy me 3 to stock up for 2days. It’s that good.

Best ice cream in Ottawa! Authentic Italian ice cream, sorbet, and other deserts. The Pesche are to die for!

My friend Helen and I went inside Mantovani this afternoon, the line up for was short - not too long going from the inside door to the display window of gelato. The staff was polite:) even the cashier too. It is large inside, the walls and framed mirrors are painted in the same cream color making it bright with tables, chairs and benches for customers to sit comfortably. We both ordered a gelato of different flavours, found a place to sit and ate our gelato it was Yummy.

Top notch gelato. The owner is super friendly and warm and told us he sources ingredients from Italy. No wonder it’s amazing.
