Maple Library

The 1 star is for the librarian who told me I can’t feed my baby. She said I can finish up but next time I can’t. I was feeding my baby in her portable feeding chair by the area where kids usually play. Funny enough, as I was walking around the library afterwards, I saw a kid eating a granola bar and lady drinking Starbucks coffee. I guess the librarian failed to see them eating. I have visited this library multiple times and every time I go in, I see children eating their snacks and while running around. When I told the librarian that I have seen other kids eating she dismissed what I said so I repeated again. All she said was I guess we are going to have to remind everyone then. There aren’t any signs saying no food or drinks by the entrance. I added a pic of where we were sitting. If you are not a parent, I feel like you might not understand my frustration. I read other people’s review about how the library is pretty loud. I do agree. It’s not a place to go study although there is a quiet room.

Very well designed library, architecture and interiors. This library is designed based on the latest design strategies. It has focus room for one-person study or conducting phone calls or online meetings, group-study rooms which you have to book. Reading area is well sound proofed with high ceiling, hanging sound absorbent panels and white noise. Convertible training room which is usually used as study area.
Different types of furniture in study area where you can relax on the couch or on lounge chairs.
Small eating area with a kitchenette and a vending machine and a self-served café machine. Toddlers area is interesting and of facilities.
Books are in good conditions and demonstrations. Music room is available! Small shop! Nice and helpful staff. Washrooms are always clean. Coffee a bit pricy the machine charges you 6 dollars for a hot drink
I love this place that I drive half an hour to get here and spend a day at the library. You never get tired here.

Great new community library. Lots of seating. Wonderful children's area. Very bright (great for someone like myself with low vision). Inside a community centre.with a bowling alley!

I had no idea there was a library at the CC. It was so easy to pick up a hold book. The check out was very smooth.

Friendly staff, well equipped, cozy and positive place

Staff is awesome and kind. They're always there to help, and the place is so cozy! Great place for French students to get books.
