This corporation is dedicated to enriching the pockets of their owners by torturing animals for profit and paying people horrible wages to do the dirty work for them. The fact this company is allowed to exist is a massive bloody stain on the moral fabric of all of Canada.

It has been a few years since I have been to Maple Lodge Farms Outlet. My first issue was the lady NEVER told me the amount of my bill. Then I find out they no longer accept Master Card. This is odd. As Visa charges more than MC to the vendor. For a company this LARGE they SHOULD accept ALL forms of currency. Especially after Covid! In the end I put everything back and left. Won’t go into full details but this store has went down since my last visit.

Maple Lodge has been a staple in our kitchen for over a decade. It's the only place I buy chicken

And everyone we know we recommend here. We have family and friends who travel here from Ottawa and Quebec just to buy bulk chicken.

Everytime we travel we are asked to bring chicken. Loads of coolers and ice bags later we always come through.

My brother buys weekly to bbq at work with his co-workers and when we visit in Scarborough we always have to show up with a case of something.lol

The prices have gone up but, the cost of groceries have gone up everywhere so that is par for the course.

The Lads loading your vehicles behind the store (waaaaay better set up I may add than years ago when we had to climb all those stairs at the factory next door) are always very polite and insist on carrying your box to your vehicles.

The service inside the trailer is quick, efficient and the young ladies are always very polite and friendly.

Inside the store the lads behind the counter are always very lively. A few I've come to recognize they are a hoot and make your trip worth it.

The hot prepared food has always been a hit for us and the kids especially love the taters.

The breakfast chicken sausages are amazing especially the maple flavoured.

The cashiers are hit and miss. Some are super friendly and others are more guarded. There is no smile or pleasantries just ring you through without much of anything.

There is always something new to see. I also love that they support local businesses by featuring items from local entrepreneurs in their stores. This is huge and I always to support by purchasing and trying whatever is new and local on their shelves.

We hope this place will continue to be a staple in the community for another decade and more. Because we love chicken in my house

I was an inspector there in the 1983,1984, , 1985, I like working there.

Saw a horrible video on the inhumane treatment of chickens during transport to and before slaughter. Shameful!

Lots of variety, helpful staff and reasonable prices. There is parking along the side and at the back of the building, should never have an issue getting a parking spot

I was driving home from Toronto Premium Outlets when I saw the sign on the road that the Maple Lodge Farms Outlet store was nearby.

Decided to make the small 5 min detour and stop by. Was expecting the costs to be substantially cheaper since it was direct from supplier but only bulk items were cheaper.

Here are some examples:
4kg frozen seasoned chicken wings $55
4kg frozen split chicken wings $42
Chilled whole chicken $6.99
2 Chilled seasoned whole halal chicken $10.99 (awesome deal)

Setup is like an old school county store with snacks, condiments, some prepared chicken (fried wings, roasted whole chickens etc), etc

Not a bad place to drop by, but I would say don't go out of your way, unless you need to buy in bulk

Need to share unjust decline of my job application at Maple lodge, Brampton ON. I feel it"s bcz i belong to a visible minority group.

Applied as live haul driver a month ago, paased road test on Sep. 3rd 2020. Contacted specific Talent Acquisition Specialist of live haul after the road test 3 times by email, 3 time by phone, left VM ad when called on company provided cell phone, my call was cut on 2nd ring (this was not the first time she didn't reply for one week). Finally got reply on 10 Sep that my application is declined, asked reason of it, didn"t get reply, then called HR and got reason from the Talent Acquisition Specialist that bcz this position is only for night shift that's why your application is not approved and sent to other recruiter, total lame excuse, if it was the case then why my rosd test was taken. Even then i requested Talent Acquisition Specialist to recndsider my case as i am available for night shift and right candidate for the postion, again no response.

When contacted HR manager on Sep. 11 (today) via email to reconsider my case, rather than considering and evaluating my reasoning, i been asked to wait for Talent Acquisition Specialist reply which got today again with a lame excuse that i am not suitable for live haul and my case sent to other recruiter.

What a total unprofessional attitude not only by the Talent Acquisition Specialist but also hIring manager. Declining application is another matter but refusing on baseleess points is a shameful act. I can name & shame both persons but will not. They both are not Talent Acquisition Specialist, they are Talent Loosing Specialists.

Reason what i feel is could be becauae i belong to a visibal minority group that's why i was declined for this job which although is not a high profile position just a driver position. I am regular customer of Meple lodge but no more.

Shame on Talent Acquisition Specialist, hiring manager and Maple lodge for dealing with the job applicant in such a humilating way and wasting my one month.

I am surprised by the help of their supervisor. Shout out to Jasmine. She saw me looking confused and trying to get ideas of what to buy. She asked me what I am looking to buy and I endup asking her to talk to my wife about the stuff and the quality. I was not expecting that she would help me (just what I am use to at other bulk buy whole sale places) but wow, she not only listened but helped me taking pictures of the products so I can share with my wife.
Maybe it's my luck or maybe it's the attitude of the staff of Maple lodge that made me feel welcome to shop there.

I liked their deal of $10 for 2 full marinate chicken the best. Did quick bbq and result was amazing.

You guys just killed and dumped 52,000 chicken's.
I'm pretty sure they're trying to cause a food shortage and price hikes.

This place is good 99% of the time as you get quality meat for a good price. They way they run the shop and factory is solid. Today however, I went to buy 1 box of chicken thighs, and upon getting home and opening the box, it seems that I had gotten leg quarters instead. The box had been mislabeled as the box says it’s thighs, where in reality it contains leg quarters. I have heard that when you buy the factory products, you cannot do any returns/exchanges once you leave the premises. Overall, good place, but they just had one mess-up today that was not the fault of any employees I had dealt with directly upon my visit.

Great and efficient! Even through Covid restrictions and conditions they still have a great service.

The May family are great people been buying chicken from them for years & worked temporarily here & even had an interview, The company is not what is used to be, The HR Rep seem not know anything about the job position they are hiring for when asked what it entails, There is too many managers & not enough workers, The lack of information & communication from management is appalling & some of these managers don`t understand what being a manager is clearly. The Company needs a big overhaul in management team, Working for my Brother I call the sales department & its just ridiculous some person answers the phone named Anna it sounds like who i can`t understand & the manager in the department is not much help either, If this is how they run their sales department good luck getting my business back ever again i will go elsewhere.

I bought a 18kg of chicken breast for $106.74 which was rotten. You are taking chances when you buy chicken there. They will not accept responsibility for their spoiled chicken. First they offered 10% discount on my next purchase as compensation. I refused that so they offered 20% discount on my next purchase which they limit to a purchase of less than $200. After all, why would I go back there to buy chicken. They don't even deserve one star but you can't post without selecting a star.

We drove here to get wings for super bowl. I found everything to be expensive. I wish would we have just saved ourselves all the driving and bought wings at the grocery store.

They were selling a bag of frozen fries for $11.99! How is that a deal? You can get a bag, albeit smaller, for $1.99 and that's at Zehrs!

Specially spicy buffalo wings is my favorite. Workers are not smiling enough, but it is worthy to buy any chicken product.

Great place to pickup chicken (even for retail consumers) and even better for restaurants and small grocery stores. Picked up some chicken wings.oh did I mention the prices.they’re good too.

Good place for dressed chicken and also cooked chicken. Many more food items available to purchase.

Understand it's called maple lodge farms but why does it have to look like a farm.gravel rock roads all over.just to get to the back to buy meat at the small smelly portable.it's a mission if your driving a fancy car or exspensive vehicle.holes all over.like seriously.all this income yet they cant have ashphalt or concrete to drive on.selling out of a small stink portable. But hey I'm just the little guy.

Great place to buy fresh and frozen chicken at wholesale price. Both halal and non halal is available. The staff members are friendly and the system they have in place seems to be working very well. Never need to wait for anything. The prices could be a bit cheaper for certain items, local stores sometimes have sales that beat these prices.

Their 5 kg gizzard and heart box is a scam.

80% heart and 20% gizzards for 18$? !? Might as well label it as a box of hearts.never again!

Best place to buy chicken at whole sale prices. Especially if you need wings for your Hot Ones challenge. Plenty of parking, helpful and friendly service.

I am happy with this Chicken Shop and the quality of their fresh and their frozen meat products are great. The flash frozen chicken breast is amazing.

I like their fried chicken. BUT they short you on "boxes". Twice in the past they short the 25 box by 1 or 2. I complain on the phone and they are apologetic.

This past time, I get the 25 piece box. You can't count them in the store. After I get home and chow down, I find that I only got 21 pieces but charged for 25.

Either count them yourself after they give you the box OR don't buy their fried chicken.
