Maple Sushi

Food was great and service was helpful and kind. It's definitely a great sushi place for anyone who's looking to have a great Sushi night — especially the all you can eat option.

Food was delicious, good variety, maybe a few more veggie rolls works be nice to have available.
Just beat the lunch rush, but took a while to get our bill as the restaurant had just filled up and a lot of orders were being made.
Would definitely come back again.

This is one of the best all you can eat sushi places! I highly recommend this to everyone who enjoy eating out to get asian food. Their food is exquisitely delicious! Five star for their food, presentation and service. Good price as well, around 40$.

The Philadelphia roll and miso soup are simply excellent! The roll has very little rice and a lot of filling!

The all-you-can-eat sushi here is a bit of a mixed experience. On the positive side, the food came out quickly and the tablet ordering system was easy to navigate. The sushi itself tasted decent, though there was a bit too much rice compared to other ingredients. Unfortunately, the service really let the experience down. The staff seemed rushed and unfriendly, even going so far as to literally throw the food onto our table without checking who ordered what. If you're starving and adore sushi, you might overlook the service, but otherwise, there are better options out there.

This review is for delivery orders.

Usually I make my opinion about restaurants or cafes that are know for Sushi by simple orders of Maki. I mean - how complicated should I be to make a very simple vegetarian Maki order.

Overall, Maple Sushi didn't disappoint me, but at the same time, they didn't give me what I wanted. Contradiction, right? OK, let me explain.

I usually order very regular cucumber avocado Maki when I do not know the place. Just to have a feel for it. Here, I did place two orders during different weekdays to see how Maki Sushi are going to handle it.

What can I say. The cucumber dicing technique was different. Cucumbers did have different square-"boldness" for different orders. Also - Maki were a bit large for my mouth. So I did have to open it wide to eat one Maki at once.

Delivery was made quick. Rice was just perfect. Strong 4 stars based on simple order:)

The food is great. But, it is wayyyy too expensive. Weekday child (8-11) dinner all-you-can-eat price is $28.99 and adult (12-) is $35.99, weekdays!
I am not sure it is worth it…

Normally I’m not the one to complain.but this place has horrible customer service. If the food wasn’t good I would stop coming here due to how rude the staff is here! I’ve also been coming here for so long and me and my friend came for dinner on a Monday night and we asked for seperate bills. They didn’t even show us the bill and just put the amount on the machine. My friend had to ask to see the bill because the amount was higher than what we normally pay and they added their own tip to the total. We were confused as this had never been done to us and we were upset on why we weren’t given the option to leave a tip. So I asked the server about it and she continued to say “that they sometimes do this especially for a bigger group of people”. Her response didn’t even make sense! As it was just the 2 of us and how are you going to pick and chose to do that! I shall never be coming back here!

Came for dinner with my sister and a friend. The sushi was very good and fast!

But the service was below average. The waiter was super rude and didn’t serve us well. Inside interior is simple but good, also the location is good. It has a big parking lot free for the customers.

Treasure Restaurant, but a little far away, the kitchen food is delicious, AYCE dinner even have grilled mussels!
Sushi sashimi are all fresh. The Spicy Crab Salad is the most delicious sald I ever ate. Definitely we come back because I haven't tried everything completely once.

Like the other reviewer, I also ordered the "buy one get one free" bubble tea from this location on Uber eats and only received one. They claimed it was only for walk in customers, but the deal is literally posted in the Uber eats app. In case anyone else falls for their scam, just FYI Uber will refund the item if you complain.

Always ordered the party tray to go. That's the best. Went in with my fam for all you can eat. Not the very best based on quality and price. Miso soup were watered down, based on the taste. GT chicken, beef teriyaki, scallion stuffed beef roll, the usual speciality rolls are pretty good. Add on boba is extra 2.50 but the boba is somewhat mushed. Pop and tea are not included.

Unfortunately we were sat at a table with damaged upholstery (holes and peeling). But.

Overall the place is nice and clean, service and food food options are good, and the quality of food is great

We've ordered from here for well over 5 years. The food and service is always excellent. If you want to try sushi pizza, they have a few options:)

The iPads make ordering your food a breeze. Especially for tables of large numbers of people. Great food and great service.

Came here with some friends yesterday after a trip to Canada's Wonderland. Very nice place and the food was very filling! I'd go back here again for sure. Since I live in Toronto and not in that area, my trips would be limited as I'd have to travel (but it would be very much worth it!)

There was a long strand of hair in my soup and the salmon tasted rotten. Will be calling notifying health Canada

It was my first time ordering from Maple Sushi and I gotta tell you it was by far my worst experience! My home is only 7 minutes away from them, so I didnt expect the tempura and Miso soup to be so cold and bland. The tuna was was not fresh and most probably had gone bad. Everything that included crab was so overly sweet! This is not my first time eating crab, so I know how it should taste. Crab should taste salty and sweet, but not like fruit. I paid over 50 dollars for my meal and I feel scammed.

I love it, we have been ordering online and even though the time of delivery said to be like an hour away, they come very fast, within 30 minutes. I say, the quality of sushi is the best in this category in our area (Vaughan)

I do not know where to start but this restaurant did extra special for us tonight. I have discovered Maple sushi through UberEats during the beginning of the pandemic when everything was closed for dine-in and they have never disappointed us ever since. Food is immaculate. So, tonight on New Year’s eve, I’ve decided to order a big one through UberEats but because it’s the NYE, it was expected for them to be super busy, so they stopped taking orders for a moment but Uber let me schedule for a later time which was fine. They finally confirmed the order. And in more than an hour, a delivery person was on the way to pick it up but minutes later, it got cancelled and said courier cancelled the order for unknown reason. I called the restaurant and they said food was ready for pick up, so we were both clueless to what happened but they didn’t waste any time and offered to deliver the items themselves which is an extra mile they took for me. That’s what you call a “Great Customer Service”. Thank you for making our NYE a worthwhile. And of course, food is very very good! Highly recommending this restaurant. One of the best.

This restaurant is one the best sushi places in the area. Its menu has many varieties with specials. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Longtime customer at Major Mackenzie location, in the last few months the quality declined significantly and there has been a difference between in house and delivered food,
I am sorry that I paid almost 40 dollars for one of the special rolls and one salad (of course partly is uber cost and I am not even far) but I really felt scammed, very small roll and almost only rice with tiny piece of salmon and avocado,

It’s not the best sushi you can get. But it’s great value and has consistent good quality. Definitely glad it is near my house as my to-go sushi place in Maple. This is a busy place so you need to order 30 mins to an hour ahead on weekend dinner time to avoid waiting too long. I only do takeaways, unsure about the quality of the AYCE

Edit: Prices have gone up by 10-20%. Apparently the store thinks they’re premium sushi. Probably won’t come back

Hands down the best sushi place! Unlike other sushi joints where COVID has affected quality, maple sushi has been consistent in delivery fresh, well-portioned dishes. Keep up the great work! Some menu items have changed and I wished they would have kept the old favouriites which is the Salmon Lovers sashimi plate and the rice paper roll salmon wraps.

Dined in for all-you-can-eat. So delicious! Sushi was fresh. Friendly service. Very clean restaurant following all COVID protocols. Sushi delivered in a timely manner.

Little renovation makes a huge difference in the service is wonderful as well as the portion size. Definitely will recommend

During lockdown these guys were swimming in cash - the place was crammed with pickup orders to the extent that COVID rules were out of the window - and the quality steadily deteriorated with orders consistently wrong. Now you have to walk through the restaurant to pick up - makes no sense, why not keep people at the entrance - and delivery is slower and slower. The revamped website - the original was already hokey - is impossible to re register with which is the final nail; I’m going elsewhere.

Yesterday they refused me service because I’m not vaccinated. They even had a security guard checking “your papers”. I have opened a file with the human rights commission and will see them in court.

Chicken was rubber, sushi was room temp, sushimi was not fresh at all, my miso soup was cold I asked for it to be warmer and it was still cold. My stomach hurts very bad after.

First sushi place we have been to in our 2 years here in Vaughan and I need to say this place is definitely a great spot when they are open for AYCE! Lovely service, good quality food but somewhat over priced. Overall 4/5 stars

As a regular customer the sushi is always good, but customer service and service time need improvement. Called for take out and was asked to wait 2 hours, upon arrival was told to wait another 20 minutes in an irritable tone by the staff. It’s not the first time they failed to meet their promised time

Been here a handful of times and they never seize to amaze me. The sizes are generous, and quite cheap for the size. Will absolutely be making this my go-to spot!

Great food, the chef is amazing. The counter staff can learn more about customer service. They act like you owe them something.

Found this sushi place on Saturday April 3rd, went back on Sunday April 4th. That should say something.
OH MY GOD the sushi here is good! Got an order of the spicy Salmon and the out-of-control Roll along with the spicy kani salad. It was the freshest and most delicious sushi I’ve had in a while.
I live approx 12 mins away but the 2 trips in 1 weekend was so worth it. The prices are also amazing. Take a drive pick up from them directly. Discount on cash. #supportlocal thank you Maple Sushi seee you soon!

Delicious place, very nice servers and large All You Can Eat selection. Would especially recommend the Philadelphia Roll as the cream cheese is very good and mixes in with the wonderful sushi. Only thing is they didn't have soap in the washroom. Otherwise, fantastic, astonishing place. Go there, it's worth the low price.

I love Maple Sushi! I’ve been coming here for years. Whenever I’m in Maple, this is my go-to, all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant. The vibe is relaxed and lively and I like ordering from an iPad and adding things throughout my meal. The food is always fresh and the portions are generous. A few times now, I’ve had items that never get to my table even when asked a second time, but other than that, I love it here. I even order online for pickup and if you pay cash, you get a discount, which is awesome! It’s such a great value for the amount of food you get. I’ll always go here! (Now I’m craving sushi! Lol).

I live in Ajax, I come to visit my cousins and every time when I go visit them I place in order a sushi. Best sushi ever.

The food is terrible and overpriced, the service is terrible, and the ingredients they use are cheap and old. The sashimi tastes like it's been frozen for weeks or months. They charged us an extra $10 for ordering too much and threatened to call the police if we did not pay it. I'd be willing to drive 20 minutes further for a much better dining experience elsewhere.

Eat here all the time. Very consistent. Service is pretty good compared to other AYCE sushi in the area. Avocado is always super fresh. Their rolls are great and their kitchen items are also above average. Hand rolls always fresh and crisp. Charging for drinks is a bit silly since most places in the area don’t but food is better than most so it’s forgivable.

I meet with friends this lovely spot often! This is my favorite restaurant to to have a good dinner. I go to this spot many times. The meals are excellent, the staff is polite and the charge is affordable. I like being in this place to have a tasty meal.

Honestly the service and food are pretty good but I think it’s silly how if you come at 4pm you have to pay more for the same bento box. I don’t want to pay extra for the time of day.

This restaurant serves great food. If you love sushi you will not be disappointed. I recommend ordering the all you can eat because it's a great deal. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5 is because the decor is a little bland, but if you don't mind that its definitely worth visiting.

The sushi quality is horrible and old. I ordered tuna which was bad. I told the waitress and she smelt it and said it’s fine. Not only was I charged for it but she smelt my food disgusting will never go back here.

BEWARE: they add 15% tip to your bill without notice before you order. Tips should be given according to service provided not dictated by restaurant. They don't come around to ask if you need something and ignore you when you try to get their attention.

Food was good. Been coming here for more than 2 years. 2 Tv's on the wall has not worked for then 2 years. Too cheap to replace. Ordered too much food. I was forced to pay extra ($10) Mangement is now enforcing "no extra food" policy.

Very bad service. I ordered a couple of times from here before but one time they missed one of my order. When i called back to complain, the man on the phone kept saying it is imposible for them to make a mistake. So i asked " I have a business in the area and i ordered before for my staff. Do you think i am going to lie for $5.00? " the man on the phone kept saying they don't make mistake. One time when i took my family for a lunch there, the customer service was very bad. We only get take out from this place but have had a good experience each time for a quick and cheap option. I can’t speak to the service in house but whenever we call and pick up they’re polite and efficient. Our go to is the maki party tray for $30 with 40 pieces. The sushi rice has a good ratio.feeds 4-5 people. Pick up is ready in 30-40 minutes and you get 10% off if you pay with cash.

It's an ok place, got disappointed on my spicy tuna handroll. Picture shows full slice of red tuna in the handroll but they brought me a artificial crabmeat handroll, tried one piece hoping to find the tuna inside but nothing. Just ask the server nicely maybe they gave a wrong order, so they said they will replace it and when the replacement came in, it doesn't look like the same on the picture still. I can't find any slice of red tuna which clearly shows on the picture. So called our server again and ask her nicely that it's not the same food that I ordered cause it doesn't have any tuna in it. And the server said it has tuna but it's minced tuna and she also added that the picture on the ipad is only for a-la-carte orders. So why is it showing on the Lunch All You Can Eat menu? So weak excuse, server doesn't even apologized for misleading info. For this price you can find alot better AYCE Sushi around Vaughan, the ones that can actually serve the food thats showing on the menu.

Went with my family: 2 adults and 2 children. We all had way too much to eat since we had the AYCE. There is the option of a la cart menu but with the AYCE, we can have a larger variety of food at our table. The sushi was decent but nothing extraordinary. Very good selection on their menu, from raw seafood to cooked meats to a limited selection of desserts.
The restaurant is in a strip plaza with plenty of parking. The decor in the restaurant is rather boring and dated. They should update the inside in order to become more competitive with other sushi restaurants.
The staff was nice and pleasant.
We will come back again if we're ever in the area.

We have since gone back two or three times since my first post. The service has improved. The last time we were there the restaurant was packed and the service was very efficient. The food was fresh and delicious. My kids love the selection and we will be coming back.

This place is going downhill fast. The service is bad, the dishes were dirty & I will never go there again. Avoid this place.if the manager is reading this, get new staff as your waiters/waitress are horrible

We visited for lunch and chose to go with the "all you can eat" option. Good variety of sushi, decent quality and most importantly tasted fresh and delicious! Our initial server was pleasant but as lunch went on, some of the other servers that helped bring the food over left little to be desired. They just dropped the dishes onto our table without so much as making eye contact or attempting to smile; we were made to feel as if we did something wrong. Not the best way to attract repeat business! All in all, good good variety & value for the price!

All servers are pleasant, polite & neat.
The place is clean, price are very reasonable: kids & seniors get special discount prices.

There was a mix up with our orders tonight. The manager took the matter seriously and made it up to us with exceptional service. Good food, good portions, good pricing.
