This isn't one of the better onroutes. The building seems very outdated and dosent have much to offer. Only options they have here are Wendy's, Starbucks and Tim Hortons and one market. There is lots of seating inside but the seats are metal and not very comfortable. The bathrooms were not the greatest either some stalls were out of order and others had toilet paper all over the ground.
This service center is close to Canada's wonderland. There are different shops inside such as Tim's, Starbucks, Wendy's and Freshii kiosk and maple market convenient store. There's Esso gas station.
There is NO excuse anymore, never was, to favour the men's washroom with high powered hand dryers and leave the women's with semi-working or broken down old ones. I left again today having to dry my hands on my scarf. What's going on? I've been stopping by this rest stop for 21 yrs. It's high time the women's restroom is fixed. It should not be 2nd class. Too bad there is no competition.
The woman who waited on me at Tim's was unpleasant. This Tim's location doesn't participate in the rewards program. For some strange reason 2 coffees at this location cost more than any other Tim's in Ontario where I bought 2 coffees. I just let it slide because I was on my way to the airport. Not impressed.
It's not very clean or as maintained as the other on-route locations. It's also dated and awkward layout. The night staff are not very well organized, professional and are very slow.
Good rest stop before facing doom.lol Wendy's is okay and the bathrooms are cleaner than many. Large parking area but watch stepping out the southmost door at the drivethru, some people don't even look for you and then wind up using you like a pylon.
The Tim Horton's at this location isn't a real Tim Horton's franchise, they don't participate in or recognize the Rewards program or even accept the Free weekends rewards that Double Double CIBC card holders receive, imo their franchise should be fined for not participating or their licence revoked. If you don't want to play along with Tim Horton's rules, then become a Country Style coffee shop or close your doors. This location is a nuisance & annoying.
Everything costs more here. When they mess up your coffee order, you can't return to fix it. Hiway and all. I'd say skip it. Unless you're in a desperate need.
Great place to stop before you get into the Concreat Jungle. Large parking lot. Clean washrooms.food court is clean and well stocked with napkins and condiments. Staff are great courteous and friendly.
I wish these ONroutes where open later, these days there isn't anything open late, you could always count on the Highway McDonalds to be open.not anymore. You can only get stale bagel or muffin. Wendy's needs to stay open longer.
I am so sick and tired of indifference on the part of the staff at Maple Market at the Onroute. I went in to use the washroom intending to buy several items on the way out. My first stop was the Maple Market. There were 4 staff standing there, one looking after a client, the other one where a lady had bought Loto Max and was trying to hand her card in to pay. The cash lady, instead of stopping fiddling with some electronic wiring trying to get it back in a package ignored this woman, holding up myself and another gentleman. I put my pop back and followed the other gentleman and two sales were lost. Do these staff not care one bit or are the inflated prices so high that this kind of thing is built into the overpriced products. I passed the Tim's where I was going to get my wife a coffee and donut and some Tim Bits for my dog and off I went. How many people can you afford to antagonize like me daily?
Not great, not bad. Crazy busy if a tour bus stops. Not the cleanest stop between Sudbury and Toronto. It'll get the job done if you need to relieve yourself.
Over priced at the gift shop for anything you want. Spent seven dollars on Pringles and a juice. Long line at Tim Hortons. Slow service at the Wendy's. The bathrooms were nice and fairly clean considering how many people were using it between cleans. 3 stars because it really has most of anything you need when you are travelling and need a pit stop, even if it is overpriced.
Washrooms were clean, food prep areas weren't too busy, Tim Horton's charged 0.26 cents more for coffees than the stores in town. Other than that, it was Ok.
Great place to stop for when on a road trip Cute place with seating to enjoy food. The water at the little store in there is rediculously overpriced however so dont bother supporting them. We usually go every Toronto trip for a bite to eat and use the washrooms
Very good place for lunch and dinner and breakfast free parking washroom wheelchair access and parking lot and shopping and gas stations and diesel stations
The Tim Hortons at this location does not participate in the Tims Reward program several others in the area do might want to give them your business instead of this location.
The timmys is the slowest I've ever been to. I was in line for over 10 minutes at 5 in the mornig on this saturday of the long weekend. It would have been longer but 2 cars in line left and the she tried to charge me $21 for a bagel and small coffee. I couldn't take anymore so i just laughed and left went somewhere else up the highway. Will never go to that timmys again
Handy stop if you are heading south on the 400 highway. Last stop before you get into heavy urbanization and you will need to exit the highway to find food and rest stops. Has a Tim Hortons, Wendy's, sub sandwich outlet and a variety store. Handy tip, if you are travelling on a Sunday park in the back parking lot as there are few trucks running on sunday and the restrooms are at the back door.
Prices are too high. Take full advantage of the public that are travelling. Try to avoid buying anything other the fuel. Unless you enjoy paying 4 dollars for a bottle of water. 3 dollars for a small bag of chips.
Normal Highway so. The is an ESSO gas station, Tim Hortons, Wendy's, and a sub place. They have washrooms and drive through's. Helpful hint of you have a rental car and will be returning it to the Pearson airport, you can fill up here and you will still have a full tank when you get to the airport.
It was 1050 pm on Sat. Night. Only one store. Tim Hortons, was open and it only had 2 servers and one was a trainee. It was busy and took forever to place our order.
