Been going here for years. Very friendly staff. Recently had a root canal with Dr. Behnaz and Eva. Very patient. Made sure I was frozen well before starting. Checked in to make sure I was till doing ok throughout. Definitely recommend!

Samm is such an attentive and kind Dental Hygienist. She makes my appointments so easy and painless.

Best dental office in the Barrie area. If you’re looking for a dental office, I highly recommend.

I was in getting my teeth cleaned yesterday and I really have a hard time with going. The dental hygentis I had is the best one I have had my whole life! She was knowledgeable.friendly and really went out of her way for me. Thank you!
I would also like to add that the front receptionist Nadine is always very pleasant and friendly to talk to! Makes thing a whole lot easier! Great experience!

My 6 year old needed a filling. Needless to say mom and I were so paniced and stressed out. Should we have him fully sedated? Should we have him on laughing gas? We were so worried he would be traumatized, i mean he is only 6. On a friends recomondation we approuched Mapleview Family Dentistry. The hygenist was amazing, she took the time to bond with him so he would know he is safe. The assistant carried forward the ssme. The dentist was a hoot. I mean my son walked out with the dentist both laughing their heads off. I should also mention the front staff. Awesome. I would definetly recomend this office to anyone.

That being said, my hygienist Sam was amazing and made few at ease with my cleaning…
Again, not my favourite thing to have done, because I have massive anxiety about cleanings always…
The staff is wonderful and the dentist the pulled my tooth on March was so amazing!

Wonderful office, clean appearance, friendly faces and optimal care. What more could you ask for? Instruments are always sterile, wrapped and opened in front of me. The hygienists and doctors are highly skilled and provide optimal care- they care about the service you receive and need, all treatment explained and costs broken down. The front desk are wonderful, friendly ladies! They’re great about educating on your insurance policy too! Can’t say enough!

I have been coming here for something like 15 years and have never had anything but positive things to say about my experience. Left feeling ripped of and am now going to pay out of pocket for another cleaning somewhere else because I dont feel like the job was adequately done. This is no longer the same establishment I have been going to and I shall not be returning. Very sad about this

I was pregnant with my first child and the “assistant” who never identified herself insisted on x-rays. She had recently come to Canada on a work program and said in her country they took x-rays no matter what. I politely said that it wasn’t a practice here due to pregnancy and that my x-rays from my former dentist (taken within the year) were available.

She was persistent. So I got up and left. The front receptionist was horribly rude and never asked where I was going or why I was leaving. I returned to the front desk before leaving, suggesting that the staff become familiar with the effects of radiation and importance of limiting exposure, especially during pregnancy.

I never returned. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible dentist office.

The most awful experience I ever had in a dental cleaning appointment. That lady did not have an idea what she was doing. She looked confused and insecure, she was not prepared, looked like she was following the steps to do a cleaning on the computer, she didn’t know how to use the tools, and unprofessional, very disappointed!

There are multiple dentists that work there. I waited for medical clearance to have treatment and it was sent by the family doctor but after weeks of waiting they said they never got it. Went to the office and asked for a print out of what they had and bingo! It was clearly there. They rescheduled the appt 5 x, multiple reasons every time. From not receiving the medical clearance letter, one dentist was not comfortable doing the filing so the other dentist was booked, the computers system crashed, the dentist was sick. The office is not run very efficient, they do not provide a reliable service. If you are retired and can go anytime perhaps all the cancelled appts don't matter to you!

My wisdom teeth removal was definitely not as bad as I thought the procedure would be. They did not put me completely out for it like I expected though, but the staff were very nice. The only slightly terrifying part of the procedure was that I was able to hear everything happening and even though they put my mask over my eyes, I could still see out the bottom a bit. I remember watching every instrument they were using and watching as they took out the teeth. They told me I wouldn’t remember the procedure after, but I remember everything. The home care instructions are a bit vague I find. I was given a curved tip syringe, but it does not say anywhere on the home care instructions when to use it. I called for clarification, but wasn’t really given a helpful answer. I was just told to use it if ever I feel there is food stuck there, but at the time of the call it was only 1 day after my teeth were removed. I thought the nurse said at my appointment I would have to wait a bit before using it. I also asked when I could go back to eating normal foods. They said I could probably go back to eating normal foods now, which didn’t sound right to me as it was only 1 day after the teeth were removed and my mouth was still in discomfort. I have tried to call them twice today for more clarification, but they haven’t answered. I have also tried calling for more pain medication as I am still in lots of discomfort and have left 2 messages, but they have not gotten back to me and won’t pick up the phone.
They also forgot to tell me about a previous wisdom tooth appointment that they had to cancel, but called and apologized after seeing the review.

Not sure if they have changed owners or not. But I’ve never been charged so much in my life at the dentist with no benefits. For 45 mins of work cost me 1000 for my son. I have been going to this dentist for years. A heads up would of been nice. 3 cavities so small that they didn’t even require freezing. Disappointed and will never go back.

I’ve been going here since they first opened up and I love it. They are very accommodating knowing I don’t have insurance and I’m very thankful for that.

So upset after my visit. $500 FOR ONE FILLING! And i don’t even have insurance. The doctor and hygienist were very nice and I am happy with the service I got.but after being told a filling was around $250, i am not happy after hearing my bill was $500.definitely not going back.

I'm one of Dr medi original patients. He is the best dentist I've ever been to. He is worth the one hour drive up. Truly recommend. Great thank you to his office Manager Linda. Who has always been accommodating.

We have been coming to Mapleview Dentistry for over 15 years. The staff is very friendly and kind. My husbad and I have seen Dr. Mehdi from the time he started and my children Dr. Parastou when they were younger. Both dentists very friendly. They took the time to explain everything. They deal.with most insurance companies. They are clean and couteius. Overall great. Thank you for your years of service.

We’ve been visiting Dr Parastou and Dr Mehdi for 15 years now and I often drive hours for our regular appointments because no one else compares to them. The office is so inviting, even for my kids. They explain everything so well and it truly makes me feel comfortable.
My kids have never been afraid to visit for routine cleanings or fillings, and that’s all thanks to the wonderful staff and Dentists

Our family has been going there for over 10 years. Friendly staff, helpful and reassuring when the kids see the dentist they are not afraid to see them.

I have been a patient at Mapleview Family Dentistry for 16 years. They are an awesome bunch. I will never get dental work done by any other then Dr Mehdi. My children are faithful patients of Dr Parastou. Even when my oldest needed some teeth pulled, she was firm but caring with him. No meltdowns makes a happy momma!

I definitely recommend to go see doctor mahadi. Weeks ago I visited the clinic for a root canel which was not easy but when I see doctor mahadi did an excellent job with whole process which I was not in pain afterward. I absolutely loved the atmosphere of the whole office as I felt very comfortable with it. I very happy that I found this clinic.

Upon entering the office I found the front desk staff to be very friendly. Dr Mehdi made me feel very comfortable and did a great job. I see Adrienne as my hygienist and she is fantastic. The office is kept very clean and sanitized.

I attended the office in April of this year, I had originally called to make an appointment due to acute tooth pain. Upon calling I found the lady on the phone to be somewhat short and unprofessional. Upon attending the office I was made to feel as if I was burden to the front desk staff. Once called I was escorted to an exam room by a lady who examined me, at no point or time did she disclose her name or what her professional designation was. The actions of and interaction with Dr. Ali Shian were quite professional and what would be expected from a dental professional. After my appointment I attended the front counter to pay my bill and was provided bill of 200.00 ($140.00 for an emergency exam, and $60.00 for 2 x-rays). When I voiced my concern about being charged an “emergency” exam fee even though I waited over 24 hours for the appointment, I was told I no choice and every other clinic charges the same exam fee with/ without the emergency aspect. I understand the value of a dollar and hard work, and the cost of $140.00 for 2 minutes of someones time is quite unprofessional.

I returned a week later to have the tooth extracted. Again I was escorted by the same female who this time I question to get her name and professional designation. Upon entering the room Dr Shain voiced his concern over the possible complication with the extraction, but was able to get the tooth out without issue. When I left I was charged $260.00 for “Removal Complicated”. The tooth came out in a single piece in less then 10 minutes, which is the opposite of how Dr. Shian explained a complicated extraction to me.

I feel as if this clinic may take financial advantage of persons if and when they’re vulnerable. As well the room I was in both times was not sanitary.

I have had work done by a couple of there dentists and hygienists and and trust their work. They have a good staff and my family and I would recomend

I've been a patient of Dr. Ali since 2008, having issues with massive fillings, bad gum etc.etc. Since the first visit after massive pain I experienced for 2 days, he comforted me right after his first check-up and starting to explain all the pros and cons of the treatment required to be done. After the first treatment, the pain was gone instantly. He is truly skilled in his craft. I truly recommend Dr. Ali to anyone in need of highly skilled dental services. He’s kind, a true gentleman and exceptional dentist anyone could ask for.

Took 3 WEEKS TO GET EMERGENCY APPOINTMENT AND WONT SEND MY INFO TO OTHER DENTIST TO HAVE WORK DONE, DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.
