Food - While the flavors were enjoyable, the presentation and portion sizes left something to be desired. Take, for instance, the cheese tteokbokki; as evident in the image, it had a small piece of Swiss cheese that left me expecting more. The standout items were the steamed meat dishes. Overall, it serves as a decent introduction to Korean snack food, albeit a bit on the pricey side, especially considering the quantity we ordered.

Service - Arriving around 5, we were promptly seated and served. Despite the bustling atmosphere, I appreciated the quick service. Even though they forgot my Coke, given their busyness, it was forgivable. The staff was friendly, professional, and overall, I couldn't have asked for more.

Ambiance - The establishment excelled in creating a delightful ambiance. I particularly enjoyed the effort put into the decor, featuring a captivating mural, string lights adding charm, and a moody overall lighting scheme.

Accessibility - It's worth noting that the space is quite narrow, and the bathroom is located down some stairs.

Overall, I had an enjoyable experience. It's important to mention that this isn't the BBQ place frequented by Korean stars; rather, it's more of a snack-focused establishment.

Every time I go, they are really friendly and the food is delicious. Raw makgeolli highly recommended

This is the most special Korean bar I've tried in Korean town. The food is very unique and interesting because learning to serve both hot pot and steamed food right on the dining table is quite interesting. Especially fried chicken sprinkled with cheese powder is quite strange and delicious to eat. The space of the restaurant is decorated with Korean posters of the 80s and 90s of the last century, so the restaurant has bold Korean vibes.

I recently visited Mopa Pocha Soju Bar and I must say I was quite impressed with their food and drink offerings. The standout dish for me was definitely the Army Stew, which was packed with flavor and a perfect mix of meat, vegetables, tofu, kimchi and noodles. It had a good level of spice to it which added a nice kick to the dish.

The Sweet and Sour Fried Chicken was also quite good, although I found it to be a bit too sweet for my taste. However, the chicken itself was cooked perfectly and had a nice crispy exterior.

And finally, the Litchi Soju was a real treat. It was definitely on the sweeter side but had a lovely fruity taste that went down smoothly. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to try something new.

Overall, I would definitely recommend Mopa Pocha Soju Bar to anyone looking for some delicious Korean food and drinks. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the service is top-notch. Make sure to try the Army Stew and Litchi Soju when you go!

Great, chill place to grab drinks! Food is also tasty and great! We went on a Thursday night so it was quieter (probably 3 other groups besides us there). The atmosphere was amazing, the paintings on the walls added a feel good vibe to the place as well. The soju might be a bit expensive but it's still great for the vibe!

I went there on a weekend night. The vibe is really nice and the snacks taste really good. However, I found the soju over priced (21.99$ per bottle) and the waiters force you to tip them which I didn’t like much (if you split the bill they force every person to tip)

So much fun, this is my new late night date spot. The house made soju is delicious and all of the dishes are very fairly priced and authentic. The fried chicken is so light and fried to perfection, the spicy rice cakes are my new obsession. The servers are all so nice and willing to take the time to help even if their English isn't perfect!

The chairs at the larger table were uncomfortable. One of the servers was very nice however another one came to rush us with a bill while no one at the table had asked for it. We had continuously ordered more drinks the whole time, adding that in for reference. Much better places to choose from if you’re downtown

This is more of a bar, so don't come thinking u gonna get good korean food to eat. This place is chill with a nice interior decor and good soju choice. It's fun to drink and catch up with friends. Hope the music is a little lounder since I hear more ppl yelling than the songs lol. But I would recommend this place.

Easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. The food was great and the service was attentive and consistent. I could have stayed there all evening!

Just disappointed form the OVERALL experience. Food wise is just very average you can get much better Korean food somewhere else. The environment was not impressive at all, seats uncomfortable as hell. Oh not mentioning their "drinks", all they have is bad soju.oh that's why they call themselves soju bar I guess.just all bottoled soju. LCBO has more varieties.

Stopped by to grab some drinks with a group! They have food here as well but we just grabbed some fries to share with the table, so can’t really comment on the food.

Drinks menu is Soju heavy but they also serve Makgeolli and beer. I wish they separated their Soju section on their menu into regular bottled soju and the flavoured sojus that they make in house! Pricing is around the same but I would’ve rather paid $20 something for an in house flavoured soju rather than something that can be bought at the liquor store.

The lychee soju was really tasty, if you enjoy a sweet drink. I was hoping to see some in house soju cocktails but there were none!

Overall, not a bad spot to drink in Koreatown:) Service was attentive.

Fun place to eat, drink and hang out. I enjoyed the music and decor, and everyone there was having a great time. Good apps to go with the soju.

Beer+soju= someak, it’s good and this place is fun! Wings good too, although who cares about ketchup, get the mustard.

The drinks were soooo delicious! Great spot for socializing. Would highly recommend and would definitely come again!

One of the best bars with good food and drinks. I’ve been there 4 times now and it’s my go to spot for army stew. Their service is great and the prices are fair. If you drink too much, don’t be surprised to see a big number on your bill. We drank a lot on our first day there and spent about 600 total. The second time we came, we knew to tone it down and spent much less while still enjoying good drinks. Will be back and will always recommend this spot to all my friends.
