Maranello Cafe

Amazing cafe to come and relax, with delicious food, a good variety of authentic Italian dishes, I tried their sandwich was out of this world, prices are quite low for the quality of food being made, also the staff was super friendly and very accommodating, this Italian cafe is a must try when going through this area. Best pasta and sandwich in the area.

Great food, Mariana 90 yrs old and has a heart of gold. Cooks just like my mother did: came from the same region back home in. Need more Italian restaurants in PC.

We got amazing experience. It's real italian food have been made by italians with love. It reminded me of my mom cooking at home. Definitely we will come back here.

I am so glad that we found this little place. The food is incredible and the family that runs it is so kind and inviting. The best meatball sandwich we have ever had, and the hand-rolled gnocchi was absolutely incredible! We come here from Hamilton, any time my wife has another pregnancy craving, and it is worth the trip every time. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much.

We tried 3 dished and they were all excellent especially the parmigian plate and spaghetti and meatballs! Food was extremely fresh and portions were good. Looking forward to going back again soon!

This place is so wonderful! Was looking for a brand new place to try and boy am I happy we stopped by!

Albeit little, Maranello is a quaint place with a lovely little seating area. Their food is always fresh and is served at a hot counter. You can also go home with fresh pasta, sauce and other available baked goods!

Our stop included the veal parm, meatball sandwich and their soup of the day: cream of cauliflower.

The lady at the counter was so incredibly friendly, accommodating and radiated sunshine. (The food was absolutely delicious too)

Will be returning soon!

Foods good but the lady that works behind the counter has poor customer service skills. I’ve seen her talk rudely to the staff and other customers. This place could be so much more.

Always fresh, delicious, and with generous portions. The Parm Combos are my favorite, but everything on the menu is fantastic. The assorted sandwich is perfect for days when you feel like something lighter.

I went there tonight. There was a older shorter lady working, whom I’m assuming is new there. I asked for a sandwich I got little toppings. Usually when I go there, they put a little more toppings on my sandwich. Meanwhile she is making two more sandwich for another customer and it looks like a mountain. I placed a telephone order. She said oh you are the one that placed it, throws the bag towards the cash where I was getting checked out, to a very older lady. She needs to do customer service to every customer that comes in and not to pick and choose. I do not like visiting this store when she is working, the other two lady’s are pleasant. I will only visit this store when the other lady’s are working.

I have eaten a lot of good home cooked Italian food growing up and this place really does live up to that standard. Very very nice sauce - perfect flavour without being too sweet and not overly salted. The veal sandwich great - the bread was perfect as in not too soft and not too hard. Also great variety of other cold cut sandwiches (we had the mortadella). So happy to have found this spot, it’s up there with the best of them.

I have lived in Port Credit for years and have always wanted to try Maranello. I stopped in this evening and ordered their veal sandwich. It was amazing! The portion is huge! The bread is super fresh as well as the rest of my toppings. The veal is perfectly tender. Overly thrilled and will be stopping by again in the future!

I placed an order through ubereats. 2 orders of tortellini and 4 sides of chicken @$6 a piece of chicken. I regret not taking a picture so I could show you how bad it was. They sent one good size piece and 3 tiny pieces that would make up 1 full piece. You should be embarrassed with yourself to send that out to your customer. I spent a lot of money and feel ripped off. You know exactly who you are and I’m sure you’ll remember the order too. It was such a joke. Congratulations for losing the trust and a customer for life. Terrible.

Soooo good! Has really good prices, cheaper than anywhere else in the area aswell. 10/10 recommended.

I ordered two sandwiches yesterday from Uber Eats and they were phenomenal. I have been to this place in person and they are very friendly. This is one of the best Italian Bakeries in Mississauga.

Tasty but when I looked at the menu I saw it said "side meatballs. $5. ⁰⁰" I wish I could underline the "s" in meatballs which I thought was plural meaning "more than one" to my surprise when I only found one meatball (see no s). My suggestion would be to change the wording to read as singular meatball. It is misleading and I would presume borderline false advertising. Though I have never been here before so I did not know what to expect.
But all in all flavor was very good.

So, so good! The tiramisu is RIdiculous, like the best I’ve ever had. The gnocchi, bolognese and meatballs are incredible. I had enough the next day for lunch and literally woke up in the morning looking forward to lunch. We ordered from Skip the first time when we were in isolation and were blown away. Fast forward 3 weeks later, our palettes still craving more, we decided to stop in for another order and to praise them in person. We got to meet and thank the Nonna herself (and yes this is how she introduced herself). Wonderful, warm and friendly staff serving Italian food better than the other restaurants that claim to make Italian. Sorry no photos, we couldn’t contain ourselves!

Get lunch here on a regular basis. Amazing service and great food. Can be busy at times so best to call ahead with your order.

Simply amazing! I ordered sandwiches, cappuccinos and dessert, and everything was so delicious and fresh. Wonderful service from the associate who put together our order with such care and kindness, really going above and beyond to make sure everything was extra special. I would add a photo but we ate everything all ready - too good to wait!

Was a student at mentor college (right beside the restaurant) and used to go here all the time for lunch! The people who work there are absolutely fantastic to the students and are so friendly:) affordable and yummy!

Enjoyed the food here and the quantity was quite a lot. The ratings seem a wee bit generous though as I would not categorize the food as mind blowingly amazing as other people here are declaring it. It was good comfort food but I have definitely had comparably good or even better food at other Italian places in other cities. We got the Lasagna, the Chicken Parmigiano and a breaded chicken with Tomato sauce combo. The Lasagna was great though it needed more cheese in our opinion. The Chicken Parmigiano was awesome and was a humongous portion and the breaded chicken with tomato sauce combo was ok.
I would definitely order from here again.

First time at this cafe/restaurant today and I loved it! I plan on trying out whatever I can on the menu. The friendly lady was super sweet and gave me exceptional customer service and promptly prepared my order- which was a sandwich, spaghetti, and tiramisu. The food is delicious, freshly made, huge portions at amazing price, and really secure packaging as well. I can't wait to come back! Definately recommend for comfort food

Such a delicious classic Italian cafe with familiar flavours. I ordered the caesar salad and bolognese. It was delicious and I'll definitely come back! The owners/ staff are the sweetest people too, thank you for being open during this uncertain time!

The food is fantastic really taste like homemade lasagna has lots of meat in it not just pasta like most places and service is very friendly.

We went to this little hole in the wall italian cafe because of its high ratings and it still rose above my expectations. The quality to price ratio is off the charts. This stuff could be prices 2-3 times as much and I would still come back to this place to eat. Will definitely be back often

Best chicken or veal sandwich in town. Absolutely delicious. A must try. Just picked one up and it's extremely filling! Hadn't been for a while an I'm so glad I decided to stop by today.

Home-made pasta with reasonable prices and large portions. Delicious food served without pretense by charming staff. Worth the trip to Port Credit. A gem!

This is a great place in Port Credit for home cooked Italian. Friendly staff, great food and prices from another time makes this place a real favourite.
My go to order is the hot veal sandwich. Loaded with cheese, mushrooms, onions and peppers for just over $8.00. For what you would pay at California’s you could have two at Maranello. This is not to say that sandwiches at Maranello’s are half the size, on the contrary, they are almost the same size.
If I was to have any complaint, is that they are only open during the day, so check their hours of operation before you go.
Bonus tip. They have a breaded eggplant that is not on the menu and it’s only available on random occasions; but if you get lucky, it’s a treat.

Absolutely in love with this café. Nonna makes the best food. When you're a regular you feel the love and they really take care of you! The espresso is outstanding and gives you the kick you really want, not like the fake starbucks/McDonalds/ Tim Hortons stuff. A hidden gem that all the locals know about. Bon appetite!

Eating here since I was 12 years old when it was Lino's! Same great food, great friendly staff. My daughter loves their pasta and we love the sandwiches!

What a quaint and beautiful little location. All food is handmade with traditional Italian recipes. The closest you are getting to real Italian food. Great service, great people, and great food, at a great price. Mangia mangia.

I haven’t been here for many years (since it was called Linos) even though the name has changed the food remains the same! Quality food and wonderful staff. Honestly the best Veal and Chicken sandwiches in the city! Such an amazing spot to grab a bite to eat! From the wide selection of pasta to their sandwiches Maranello Cafe is the spot to go to! The quality of food is top notch at a very reasonable price. I would recommend this spot to everyone!
