Amazing custom icecream cakes and even better customer service! The store staff accommodated a last minute request for a special birthday, definitely a high recommendation going to all my family and friends, worth every penny. Thank you marble slab!

The service was horrible. Young lady was miserable and super slow. My cone was burned and ice cream was melting as they put it in my cone.

There are plenty of Ice Cream shops in downtown Oakville, but Marble Slab Creamery is without a doubt the best. Unique presentation, a unique take on ice cream toppings, and the patented marble slab easily places this creamery above its competitors.

Went to marble slab to buy my family some ice cream today and I couldn’t decide between my usual flavour or a new flavor I was curious about. I asked if I could sample 1 single flavour and they told me they don’t do samples. Rather than making things go faster and allowing maybe 1 or 2 samples max the whole operation is slowed down because ppl can’t make up their minds on what flavour they should get. And when you’re spending $10+ on a single scoop of ice cream you should be able to have a tiny sample to make sure you like the ice cream that you’re paying an egregious amount of money for. Since when did marble slab become so miserly? It’s not like a sample has to be an enormous spoonful. And a smart business person would say 1 or 2 samples maximum and provide a small sample so that they can make a $10 sale on a single scoop. Cheapness like this will be the reason why this franchise won’t be around too long. They lost out on $40 today because they were too miserly to provide 1 single sample.

Horrible service, rude staff, don’t know what they are doing, focus on making cones and not serving customers

This location is the worst they’re so cheap and unprofessional. They don’t let you sample which is weird and shows how cheap they are as all the other ice cream places will now let you sample again. The staff are so rude and clueless. I ordered a lemon lime ice cream and i just took 1 bite but it tasted nothing like lemon or lime it just tasted like sugar and food colouring disgusting so i asked to change it but they refused and didn’t seem to care. I went across the street after to Nayla’s icecream and had the best icecream ever so save yourself time and go somewhere else.

We tried their downtown Oakville location for the first time. Delicious ice cream and the waffle cone really surprised me. Delicate and soft shell which was light and tasty.

Sorry, you’ve to improve your customer service and products.
We were 2 and tried to order some ice cream. You only prepared one for my company and moved to the next customer while I was hoping to taste you “hot” ice creams! Lucky that you skipped me!
1 star is a big one for this service!
Oh by the way, turn on your AC so that inside temperature won’t heat your customers’ orders.

I wanted to leave a note for the people in charge of scheduling. We stopped in around 2 on St Pat's Day for a tasty treat. It also happened to be +16 outside and March break. The young woman, working by herself with a non stop lineup did an amazing job. I hope the management recognises her hard work and efficiency, as well as her professionalism in dealing with less than commendable patrons.

Tried the green tea flavor. I couldn't taste the tea but loved the coconut and the other toppings that I got to add

They put the Icecream on marble slab and that’s supposed to somehow make it unique?
No thanks. All it did was melt the icecream
And waste some and that’s concerning for me since I paid by weight!
Didn’t even taste gelato. Isn’t it better to get Chapman’s and make your own!

Good concept but very badly executed.

It starts melting just before they hand you the cone and once you’re out of the store, this is how your ice cream will look like.

A complete mess.

The two starts is due to the average taste.

Amazing customer service. Amazing ice-cream/gelato. If anyone is craving something sweet and refreshing go here and you won't regret it!

I'm slowly working through the flavours that sound good to me, and I just have to recommend the cookies&cake! Each bite was of something different, and I'm pretty sure I got at least three oreos in there! The picture I am posting is of the willy wonka- which was tasty, but next to cookies&cake? A two.

Usually, this place is packed in the summer. Only good news about the lockdown is that we didn't have to wait for our ice creams. Also, they were super accommodating and exceptionally made my customized birthday cake in less than 48 hours, which the Burlington location wasn't willing to do so

Reason? Poor management, very pricey not worth your time. Had to wait 35 minutes outside with only 10 people in front of us, just to know that the cash register broke and we had to pay in cash with exact change. Won't be coming again here or recommend it.

It’s creamy and refreshing! About $9 per ice cream. You can shooed cones or cups. Tastes like summer!

Very disappointing we tried different flavours and they don’t taste good like before. Prices are too much for this low quality.
I would never recommend this place

Went in to get a banana split 1 hour and a half before close.
They had no cones.
They had no icecream flavors.
They had no bananas.

The lady working was rude and really didnt care to help or give any suggestions to better our time.

We walked out very dissatisfied

The server had difficulty communicating. We had to repeat our questions multiple times. It was a combination of limited English and devil-may-care attitude for a job for which she is likely getting minimum wage. We asked for a cone and she gave us a cup. We asked about "A" flavor, she answered "B" flavor. We said we wanted two scoops, she understood "one. " The flavor of the ice cream is no different than what you can get at the grocery store (i.e.: Chapman, Breyers, etc.). We left feeling puzzled and frustrated. Our questions about their ice cream products went unanswered.
Message to the business owner: Why are you putting someone who knows little, if anything at all about customer service to deal with your customers? Don't you know that people who deal with customers represent businesses? One never sees the business owner, only the employees. This means that "your" business is in the hands of your employees. You choose someone like the person we had to deal with a few days ago in your ice cream parlour, and this tells us a lot about how you manage your business. Very poorly!

It was the worst ice cream shop in the history. When we came in all of the staff was so mad and had headphones in and when we asked how it worked they didn’t gave us a good answer. My friends ordered ice cream and they were satisfied with the taste but the cups and the cones wasn’t filled up and a small cup was 7$. I ordered a smoothie but they didn’t have all the ingredients and it wasn’t good at all. And the line was so messy, they didn’t know who had pay or not. I was so mad after leaving the shop. Not a good experience. I wouldn’t recommend this shop.

Ice cream is flavorful and you mix as many toppings as you like which is great. Also was the only ice cream.place open on holiday Monday so the lines were huge

The ice cream is just ok and concept to customize on marble slab is ok. They handle long lines ok.overall ok.

Cookie dough drizzle was really really good. They did not skimp on the toppings. Definately recommend.

We went on Monday evening around 7: 30 pm. There were approx 12 people in line ahead of us. They only had 2 guys serving and 1 guy making waffle cones. It took the one guy about 4 minutes just to scoop one scoop of ice cream. They were in SLOW motion and did not seem to care at all about the line up. We thought the cone maker could have pitched in. We left and went to Port Credit for our ice cream. Last summer We tended to go to Marble Slab quite often, but unless thry improve their service we will not shop there. We will give it another chance and see if the owners read and act on these reviews.

I really enjoy their ice cream and mix-ins, but I definitely would not suggest ordering a custom cake from this location. I recently ordered a cake and was disappointed from the moment I picked up the cake. I placed an order over the phone for a cake made with vanilla icecream and with oreo, brownie chunks, cake chunks and chocolate chips as mix-ins. I asked for the cake to have abundance written on it. I asked the person to repeat everything I said, so it seemed like she knew what was being ordered. What I received was entirely different. The cake said abandon. It doesn't seem like all the mix-ins I asked for are in the cake. The lady who served me didn't seem to care that she messed up on what was written on the cake. I really like Marble Slab's icecream but the custom cakes from this location are questionable.

Delicious and fresh ice cream! It was such an interesting experience because I was surprised that I could put all toppings for free. I had white chocolate ice cream with raspberry, almond, Oreo and pecan on a waffle bowl. It was $9. It was a little bit pricey for one scoop of ice cream, but it was worth it.

Excellent ice cream shop! The best ice cream in the world… Good service, they made everything in the store delicious, mmm, ice-cream, cones, toppins, cakes… I go crazy with so much variety that they have,
definitely 5 stars, thanks for being there for us.

Most convenient and popular place to grab ice cream from when you are at Oakville lakeshore.

As of the taste its not the best plus it’s quite expensive compared to Baskin Robins which is only 2 mins drive from it.

Flavours are good but not excellent compared to other gelato places in town

You're not going to find any competitors that can defeat this Goliath. Hundreds have tried, all have failed.

I Loved their selection of ice cream flavors and toppings, while waiting in line you get to see Amazing suggestions of different combinations, so you dont get too overwhelmed by how many options there are.
Furthermore, watching them make the ice cream on the 'marble slab' is fascinating and I would solely go to the shop just to watch the artists at work.

Amazing flavored ice cream. You can choose from there creations or make yoir own. Do cones or cups. Choose frome cream or whater based ice creams. They also cell ice cream sandwiches and ice cream cakes. Really good service
