EDIT: I would like to update my review as I was contacted, payment taken immediately I was given a graphic design quite quickly and great communication, it has now been since February and still no bags for the advertising I have paid for, I have followed up multiple times in regards to updates and keep getting told someone would be in contact with me and still nothing again after 2 weeks. At this point, I would not recommend as it was $1500 for advertisement and being a small business I still have not received anything. Very disappointed.

Paid over $900 for bag advertising in my hometown. That was 16 months still no bags. But wow just got email saying the bag have arrive at another location that I specifically told them I don’t want on. The town is over a hour away. Still waiting for my bags to be delivered to the (ONE AND Only) location I originally was told. They took my money for nothing. Learned my lesson. Beware

The MARC group reached out to me so I could advertise my wedding photography business on a bag. I initially accepted the offer but later realized this was not a good fit for me. I had only paid the deposit and was open to keeping the $100 with them. Ron, the branch manager, was incredibly accommodating and worked to understand how the MARC group could best help my business! He transferred me to Jarom, who gave me a massive amount of value on our call and will be following up with me in several months to check my progress. Thank you!

Michael Minielly was a pleasure to speak to. The information was presented professionally and in detail. Michael was able to answer all of our questions, while still having a casual friendly dialogue. As a professional, a business owner and a past executive in finance, I recognize a gem when I speak to one.
Only issue is the orders come out waaaaay late. Both experiences were 6 to 10 months later than promised. Sadly nothing can be done to stop your order and collect any kind of refund. If your advertising is time sensitive, I would not recommend. **J. Coombs Paint

They called me on a bag promo in November, said it would be available in January in time for my lawn season, we’re in July.

Very dissapointed in my experience. Signed up for one advertisement, then they changed it to something completely different and would not respond to my emails in regards to cancelling it.

Krysten went above and beyond to help me with my advertising campaign. Her team was quick and extremely responsive. They answered all of my questions, showed patience when I needed time, and were helpful every step along the way. The pricing was fantastic and a no-brainer. I would recommend their services.

I had my website for my catering company made by them. I have received great feedback and traction! The team was amazing to work with and executed my exact vision! Very pleased.

DO NOT PAY THESE PEOPLE - EVER. I live in rural area and service an small, economically challenged community. Why? Because we are almost exclusively a tourist based area and you can imagine that's been even harder since COVID.

***Updated my review to a 2 star. Why? Because after weeks of arguing and holding my ground, I eventually got an appropriate resolution. They did not make it easy, and I'm sure they did so begrudgingly, but they DID finally take some action to deal with the damage. ***

The summer in our valley means Farmer's Markets, something these scammers took advantage of. MARC Group came to our valley, rallied together a group of small businesses owners who were hoping to see even a bare minimum ROI and convinced us all to purchase advertising space on a reusable cloth bag to be handed out at the local farmer's market.

This was end of February into early March with a promise of having bags out by summer for the farmer's market and tourists. We got a print confirmation at the end of March and mid April we were notified that they were getting ready to send for print and we'd receive a physical bag in the mail once they arrived.
When I hadn't heard anything by mid June and contact with MARC group was leading no where, I reached out to the Farmer's Market they had positioned these bags too and told them we were looking for information. They responded to our inquiry stating "We have not heard from the Marc group for awhile. Last message was that the bags were going to print. There is a large problem with sea
container transport at present so that might affect delivery. "

We attempted reaching out to the Farmer's Market again in August when we hadn't heard anything yet from MARC group. They replied with "The MARC Group offered the bags to the Invermere Farmers Market at no cost, nor are we involved with the planning, production or shipping. " Clearly, this is a large corp that has taken advantage of us, and misrepresented their product and services to the business who have paid for it AS WELL AS the Farmer's Market whose name and credibility they used to sell their ads.

I did not request a refund, because they have already turned all other business owners who paid for this down, and I have wasted enough time and money on them. Poor service, no samples received as promised, and the only time we get information is if we ask. After you pay them they disappear. But BOY were they DEMANDING when it came to getting paid. I have never been hounded so much.

It's now mid September, the market for this year is over, and IF they ever make it to the market, they will need to hold and use them next year. This was a massive waste of time and money for so many amazing local businesses.

Most are submitting BBB claims, though again I have already lost too much to this, so I'm writing this review. EVERYWHERE I CAN. I pray you read this, and you are not taken as so many of us have been.

Working with Kris for my social media marketing was a breeze! She took the time to get to know me and my style and delivered social media posts that were always on point. Not only were the post visually appealing but the written components to go along were top notch…. The best part is I didn’t have to come up with any of it myself.

Kristina at MARC has been looking after the social media for our small business for the past month and we are SO impressed! It took her no time to get the feel of our business and create meaningful, creative content. I was hesitant to spend money on something I felt like I could do on my own but now I can see the great value of being consistent and giving my business a very polished and professional look. I wish I did it much sooner.

Kept spam calling the business I work for multiple times while telling us that their client "really wanted us to advertise with them" but couldn't answer why when I asked. Very unprofessional. Very annoying.

I've had the pleasure of working with Kristina Noll for my clinic's social media channels. She has been truly amazing to work with. As a business owner, social media is something that often detracts from me being able to focus on other things. The content Kristina came up with was always completely on-brand, aesthetically pleasing, and just beautifully put together overall. She needs very little guidance to create content that aligns with my brand and has taken away a humongous layer of stress for me. I trust her skills and knowledge implicitly. She is responsive, takes feedback extremely well, and is just a pleasure to work with. I have been recommending Kristina to many people I know because I am so confident that they will have as great of an experience as I've had.

These guys have been great to work with! I would definitively work with them again. Super easy to contact, and gave us some great additional promo materials and art work!

Got off to a rough start then with covid it got worse. Ultimately everything worked out exactly as promised. The saving grace was that they stayed in contact until the product was delivered

Wonderful working with Richard on a creative advertising option for our business. Very friendly, responsive, and professional. Would highly recommend to anyone in need of his services.

I paid them for a bagvertising campaign a year and three months ago. I have nothing to show for it. They promised a sample bag which was never delivered despite repeated requests. The company they were supposed to deliver the bag to says the bags have arrived, but have still been unable to confirm my ad actually appeared on the bag. I have checked the local stores the bags were supposed to go to and the employees know nothing about it. I still have no proof they've done anything. These bags were to promote classes that I started offering late last year. My business is very small and I can't afford to throw away hundreds of dollars on an advertising campaign that was supposed to begin in the fall of 2019 to promote classes that began in the winter of 2019. They have offered me nothing at all for my troubles.

Likely a total Scam. Haven't produced the ad on a bag. Have stopped returning my emails. Have had the WORST experience with this company. Regret ever giving them my money. Do not give these people your money, please!

Top notch, Kari Wood was very polite and professional definitely highly skilled sales person and business associate. Very pleased to work with Kari and her team! If you need to promote your business, Marc Advertising is definitely the go to place!

They charged us for advertising in things that we specifically asked not to advertise in and they have not advertised in the area we asked them to and now they charged us for both and will not refund our money.
They are very disorganized, rude, and will flat out deceive you for your money.

Update: We’ve received a call from Marc Advertising and we have worked together to find a compromise that we and Marc Advertising are happy with. Thank you for making this right.

We order some hand sanitizer from this company to hand out as promo items for our company. They were delayed several times and we received them the day before we needed them. The labels were crumbles and crooked and were put over the original label. It was quite embarrassing. When we contacted the company they wanted to give us a credit of $100 toward another item. We paid over $1000 for this product. We not recommend.

IF YOU WANT A PIRATE COMPANY TO STEAL YOUR MONEY GO AHEAD AND DO BUSINESS WITH MARC ADVERTISING.
I am So extremely disappointed in dealing with this company. They did not deliver on what advertising we requested and yet charged us.then they had the audacity to put our advertising on things we flat out said no to and they charge us for it - even though that project isn’t finished either. What a scam!

Be aware this company is a scam. Do not waste your advertising money
STAY AWAY!

I was contacted by Wesley Ashton on February 15 2019 to co-brand my business with a successful market in Calgary (Lina's Market). Since Lina's Market is an outstanding business we agreed to sign up for the shopping bag.
They had promised high end art work which was included in the price and should have been completed within the month. Not only the art was not completed within the promised time, the communication had stopped as well. It took several emails before I got a response and finally a copy of the so called "high end" art work. The art work was so disappointing and insulting; I am sure a two year old would have done a better job. It was obvious they had taken 5 minutes to put it together to get me off their back.
We submitted the art work ourselves on April 3,2019 and approved the ad the same day as they give us only 24 hours to complete this process.

The bags were supposed to be delivered in June. It's August now and still no bags and still no response to our numerous calls and emails.

I finally had enough and told them that since they are not returning my calls and emails, I have no choice but to report them to BBB and to make sure the public and all other businesses are aware of their great service and empty promises. Just today I received an email from them stating that the bags will be in production very soon.
I have explained that the shopping bag advertising is no good to my company now, as its the end of my busy season and I do not need to waste money on something that is after the fact.
The only acceptable resolution at this point is a full refund of my money.

I have done advertising with other companies and I have never been treated so poorly.

Marc Advertising has always been a reliable and innovative company that offers amazing service. Alex is a well organized and straight forward designer, he's constantly troubleshooting to get things done in a timely manor while keeping you updated. As a client, I find this extremely necessary time is money and it is well spent at Marc Advertising.

I am a new business so I have a very tight budget. I appreciate the cost efficient services that MARC Advertising offers, I am looking forward to the start of my program.

I called in to get some information on their services and products, and even though I didn't sign up for anything, the rep I spoke with still gave me some advice on what local marketing I can do on my own. I would definitely call back when I am ready to expand.

I recently was contacted by Marc Advertising about advertising my company. I was pleasantly surprised how well the program worked out.

Over all I would recommend them.

I got a call from Marc Advertising last July (which was summer of 2018) telling me I had limited time to get the only electrician spot on a bag being delivered in Red Deer, AB that fall. I paid the $682.50 in full with the information of it being DELIVERED in the following few months. I thought this was going to be beneficial to my newer small business and I went ahead with it. However fall came and went and nothing happened.

I contacted my "advertising specialist" in December and was told they were set out to print that month and I would get an email from productions.

Still nothing as I followed up in January. Now I was being told they were set to print in February and would get an email from productions.

I followed up again in April this year (2019) and now they are saying they will be set for distribution in May or June 2019. With again, an email from productions. I requested my money back as the time slot of "last fall" was coming into the season when we slow down and the extra advertising may have helped. However they say they are, "Past the timeline for refunds". Well these guys are long past their timeline of a delivery of "last fall" in their services. I would not recommend Marc advertising to anyone if they contact you as they seem to be filled with false promises and advertising of their own.

I have not received my money back, nor have the bags been sent out for delivery. To me, this is unacceptable.
