Ugliest haircut i’ve ever had. The place is good and they are polite, but if you are a guy don’t go there for have an haircut.

I had an appointment yesterday at Marca college Brampton for haircut and highlights. Margarita and Marc did my highlights and I was so amazed with their work. Both of them were se patient, listening to what I wanted and really worked hard on my hair to get the desired results as I had box died my hair before and it was really tricky to take that colour off. Under the guidance of Soniya they did amazing. I am really happy and will recommend their service again in future. Good luck to both my stylists

Sahar did a wonderful job with my partial highlights. I left very satisfied. She was thorough and helpful. Not only that she is knowledgeable, but she also was completely professional and understanding. Her instructor was also awesome and knew exactly what look I was going for. I will definitely come again.

I visited Marca College Brampton yesterday for a root touch up, cut, and style. My stylist was Jashandeep and the instructor was Sonia. I can't say enough good things about them both. Jashandeep was so precise and accurate, listened to what I wanted and also made suggestions that I was open to. Sonia was always available to Jashandeep and overlooked the entire process. Jashandeep did such a great job, my color looks great and my hair feels super light. I will definitely be back!

Had a fantastic experience with the hairdresser Daniella. She did a great job and will totally go back to see her again

If there is a national holiday of barbers, and just this option left.
Then also one should keep it as the last option.

It’s a very professional place and you can get all what you want in a reasonable price and in professional trainee’s hands.

Loved the experience here. Went for a haircut. Would highly recommend Manpreet. She has attention to the detail and she goes out of her way to make the client feel comfortable and take care of their needs and make them feel beautiful.

I had a root touch up and blow-dry today. I'm always hesitant when having students work on my hair but Sidra was so good and handled my hair like a true professional who has been doing hair for several years. She listened to my concerns and addressed them since I have very sensitive skin. She listened to my blow-dry recommendations since I know my hair better. I'm a difficult customer I know but with Sidra I didn't have to say too much and left so very happy. The instructor who set me up with Sidra was so very nice, kind and patient with me.

I got a haircut by Dimple this past Friday. She listened, offered her opinion and cut and styled my hair beautifully. She sure does have a special touch and I look and feel amazing. I've got curly hair and Dimple, understood the assignment thanks again! Looking forward to our next visit.

This is a nice place to get your haircut. The students are friendly and polite. Bhupinder was my stylist and she was very friendly and organized while doing my haircut. Its better to give this place a shot rather than spending in expensive hair saloons. Thanks Bupinder.

I went in with high hopes because of the reviews but clearly i was out of luck.here’s what i wanted vs what i got:/. It was my first time ever dying my hair so i had no clue as to how things worked and trusted the hairstylists and managers who were advising us.the whole thing seemed off when my hair stylist wasn’t sure what to do, which i understand of course because they are students after all.however i was hoping the manager’s would have known a bit more.they were asking me if i wanted to bleach my entire head for the hair or not, which i was not too sure of since i didn’t know what was best.they then insisted that bleaching my entire head for the colour i wanted would’ve have been best.not only did my entire head of hair get ruined with bleach, i didn’t get the colour i wanted.i went back to get it recoloured for free, but it still wasn’t what i wanted:/. I went to another salon later when i wanted to fix my hair and they had told me i didn’t have to bleach my hair at all since it was virgin.i wasted so much money and damaged my hair: (

My very first visit to Marca and had an amazing full transformation. Kirandeep provided an excellent service and I love my new hairstyle.

The students are friendly and helpful. My experience was very positive. I highly recommend you check this place out.

I had an amazing experience getting my hair done. I did a full head of baby lights. My hair dresser Emily did a wonderful job. I will be returning to get my hair done again. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get their hair done by lovely students and staff!

The students are very nice and polite. My cut is good but my color is nothing like I wanted it turned out orange. I was ask by a cashier a cashier who had seen me right before my cor and the day after it and was asked if I colored my hair orange. When I got home even my daughter said its not like the picture and it's orange

Nicole did my wash and style this week but I come to Marca for a wash + style each week. Students are excellent and really work hard to please their clients!

I went in for a haircut a few weeks ago, the girl ruined my hair, she cut the under layer of my hair shorter than the top layers, you would think even someone learning how to cut hair would know not to do that. My hair is awful.

The students there are so nice! The one who colored my hair was really awesome! She listened to what I wanted and gave me the change I was looking for! I absolutely recommend this place!

Got a cut from Mike Santos. He was patient, listened to me and offered advice. He did an excellent job and the place was clean and professional. No waiting around either!

My appointment took 7hrs!
I had my hair redyed black and red highlights put in, and a cut and blowout. When I got home, I realized my hair wasn't cut straight at the back. There are chucks of hair that are inches longer.

I went to Marca today and had the pleasure of getting my hair done by Ramona. I have 3B curly hair which intimidates a lot of people. I wanted a wash, blow-dry and trim, and I don't think I have ever had my hair done better, even when I have paid 4 times the amount. Not only was the trim exactly what I asked for (didn't chop off 4 extra inches), my hair probably looks the best it has ever looked! So soft and flowing! I could not be happier with the results!

Do not get your hair don’t by these people. I went to get my hair done and when I was not happy with the service and asked them to fix it, they said call the manager on Monday.

ALSO NOTE, I commented that I wasn’t happy with the service I received in their IG page, they commented back telling me to dm them, then they blocked me. I have all the screenshots.

I was not happy with the less than mediocre job done on my hair On Friday. I wanted them to fix the problem but instead the workers told me to call the manager. Instead of calling, I went Monday morning, The director spoke in a condescending tone and thought I was lying when I have pictures of before and after of my hair. I did not want a refund but just wanted to get what I paid $120, the director kept trying to deflect the blame and saying that the place is run by students so they make mistakes. She did not promise to book me another appointment to fix my hair nor was a refund discussed. She kept on saying that she needed to talk to the person who did my hair. But the person who did my hair on Friday said I needed to talk to the director/manager on Monday…. Safe to say I will not be coming back due to the nature of unprofessionalism you guys have shown and also run a catering business in Brampton and will make sure that these people never get a dime from my friends n family. You guys don’t deserve 5 stars at all. Wouldn’t be surprised if this review got deleted too.

I've been going to Marca College to get my hair cut for many years. I enjoy going there because it's rather inexpensive and also allows a student to practice on a real "customer". You typically will get serviced by a different person from one time to the next, but this is usually not an issue for me as my haircut/style is pretty simple. I can imagine this to be a bit of a challenge for more complex styles/hair-do's. I only had one not-so-good experience, when i asked that day to get my white hair "touched-up" / dyed. The color turned out really weird and not exactly close to what I anticipated. The dye eventually washed away and never asked for that treatment again (not out of fear, more because I stopped worrying about my white hair!).

Plan ahead for spending more time than at your regular hair salon. Remember these are learning students, so they're not as quick as an experienced hair stylist.

As a former student, I thought I should write a review to let other students, who have also endured the same experiences, that their feelings matter too.

Firstly, when we started we were given a kit that was way more expensive than the tools actually in them. I’ve since then had to replace every single tool given.

If you aren’t doing a client, they will tell you to do “beach waves” all day everyday, or to practice for your exam that’s in 10.5 months. I didn’t go to school to practice for my exam, I went to learn new techniques. They teach you the basics that you end up having to re learn once you go into a salon because they are so outdated.

They also need to reform their education to include textured hair, as they had a 1 hour class in all of the 10.5 months I attended.

I had our floor teacher (Stephanie) tell me point blank that I would never make it in the industry and that I should quit while I’m ahead. She’s also said this to numerous other girls at the school. She would nit pick us, and make us feel so awful that myself and some other girls would be crying in the bathroom because she said something mean to them as well. If we had a question about hair colour she would simply laugh and say “go back to colour class”.

Our director (Charlaine) wasn’t any better. She would favourite certain students & literally make them do everything for her. We’ve also seen her disrespect some of her own staff. But i’m not going to get into that.

If you are looking to sign up for hair school, i STRONGLY do not recommend this one. They will steal hours from you without you even knowing. It’s a huge scam and a money grab. They see you as their salary and that’s all.

Being at this school was so mentally and emotionally draining, it’s not worth it at all. The only good thing that came out of it, was all the friends I met.

The duration of the haircut is way too long and uncomfortable. All the waiting leads up to an okay-looking haircut that I could've paid 2$ more at professional place for a better haircut.

Thank you so much to all the staff for continuously posting work for us to do from home was well as going out of their way to help us students succeed within our schooling even though we are all at home! Love all the options for additional education!

I came for a hairstyling and Samantha Armata did a fantastic job on my hair, I was very impressed with her skills, professionalism, and overall friendly personality. I came back again to have her do it, and it was great as well. My mother came twice and Samatha cut her hair too, and my mom said it was her favourite haircut ever!

I have been going to Marco College for a couple of months now, i had the pleasure of meeting Roxanna, from the moment I sat down she was so friendly and confident. I showed her a picture of the color that i wanted, it turned out amazing, so happy i found a new hairdresser, I highly recommend her.

I went home recently to visit friends and family (I live in BC now) and was convinced to get a haircut. This was huge since I haven't had a proper one in 8 years so my anxiety was through the roof. Cierra made the experience so calming and fun:) Walked away with my hair now just above my shoulders and the prettiest blonde and I love it! Such a talented sweetheart

I got my hair done about two weeks ago and I still can’t get over it. I got it done by Cierra and it’s the best haircut I’ve had done in about 10 years!

Cierra is amazing, and super talented, I can't wait for the next service! Very thorough and definitely is who I'd go see again in a heart beat. Coming from an AVEDA certified hairstylist, I think she will be a great addition to any salon.

Roxanne did a wonderful job on my hair, I had a root touch up and the results were better than the example I showed her beforehand, I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family!

Roxanna is the best so far she really takes the time to make sure you are happy with your hairdo this girl is amazing.

I went to Marca hairdressing college to help a friend with letting her cut my hair, Roxy did better then my usual haircutting place, moving forward Roxy is my go to hairdresser.

The best experience I've had while dying my hair, she gave me suggestions in upkeeping my hair to give it better shine and put nothing but absolute love into what she was doing! Highly recommend

I’m glad I took the advice. Cierra knew her business, was incredibly helpful and very professional. Most importantly she corrected a very bad hair experience and has me loving my hair again. I will be visiting her again!

Ruby is one of the most amazing hair stylists ever. I loved her work. She was very clean and did an amazing job with my hair. It felt so healthy and light after even getting a simple trim from her. She is highly recommended!

When I went to Marcas College it was an amazing experience. My hairdresser was Ruby and she was the best. She made sure that I was well taken care of. She gave me such an amazing root touch-up that I was unable to see any left over grey hair which often happened with other hairdressers. I would definitely recommend going to Ruby as she is very trust worthy. I know I’ll be going back soon!

When I went to Marca College VICKY gave me a very nice wash and cut. She was very nice and did a very amazing job. I would definitely go to Vicky again.

I had the pleasure of getting my hair dyed cut and styled by christle, she is amazing to say the least.she is very experienced and knowledgeable when it comes to hair. She does amazing things with braiding and all types of different quality hair and everything in between! She has been doing it for years even before she decided to get her certificate which furthers her experience even more!
She’s always prompt and ready to go. Anything I have asked her to do to my hair she has done % with amazing results every time! I would recommend her a million times over to anyone! Any women would know that Trusting a hair dresser is never easy especially if you don’t know them but I would put my trust in Christle every single time

Recently, I went to Marca College for a root touch up and for layers. My hairdresser there was Ruby and she was amazing. She was extremely friendly and accomdated to my needs accordingly. After my root touch up no gray hair was visible. I received a lot of compliments on my haircut and can definitely say that I referred many other of my friends and family to go to Ruby for all there haircuts. I am definetly going to come back to Marca college to get my hair done from Ruby.

I had my hair cut, washed, and styled by Ruby and I am extremely happy with the results! This was my first time at Marca college, and I had a very pleasant experience with my stylist as she gave me everything I wanted. Highly recommend, I will be coming back again for sure!

Update 9/16/19
So the quality has really degraded here after the new instructor came, can be visibly seen by the low turnout at this location. They raised their prices aswell. Won't recommend going here specially for men's haircut as it costs 15$+ now for a haircut and 20$+ if you want to do your beard which is not even worth a penny once your beard is all screwed. And even after paying what you would have paid in a fully licensed barber shop you get your hair messed up with no one even caring if you walk out of there with bad and uneven haircut.

First time going here and must say i'm really impressed! I got a beautiful cut and style from a student named Haley. I will be returning soon.thank you Marca college!

I recently went into Marca and was hesitant since I only had one hairdresser and she was currently on Mat. Leave. I went in there to get a haircut & Balayage, Ruby was so friendly as soon as I met her. She went beyond her way to help me get out of my comfort zone and gave me an entirely new look! It’s been a week and I have received numerous compliments. I’ll definitely be sending more customers to Ruby and wish her best of luck for the future as she has a lot of potential!

I love this location and specifically the stylist Rochelle. She is super professional and always leaves me blown away after she is finished colouring, cutting or styling my hair. She has a great personality and amazing skills. Very talented and can only get better! I highly recommend her:)

It was ok for the price. The 2 students that worked on my hair were the complete opposite. Alexis was super fast and screwed up a few times. Kristina was super slow but didn't screw up.
