Paid continuously they continued not to show up. The whole company is pathetic. Find someone else and save your money.

Horrible interaction with an employee. You can really tell that safety to this company is considered a joke. Avoid this place if you value your safety.

It's unfortunate how many of the reviews here are based on the Neville-Lake tragedy. Let me be clear: I am not here to diminish the Neville-Lake Family or this tragedy in any way. I believe Marco Muzzo should have been punished further and it's just that he is now in jail for his crimes. It's important, however, to separate the issues and get your information correct before making a post.
This company was started over 65 years ago by Marco Muzzo Sr, the grandfather of Marco Muzzo Jr (the convicted drunk driver). Sr.passed away in 2005, and left a legacy in the construction and development industry that is unparalleled to this day. His companies employ thousands of people, both directly and indirectly. Thousands more live in Muzzo-built homes and condo towers.
As for Jr, he was an employee of the company, not an owner. And a junior employee at that. He had no influence on critical business matters. To assimilate him with the company is simply unfair to the company, it's employees, and most importantly, it's founder.
For those who are saying that the family donated the money to the hospital simply to "wash away their sins", maybe you should do some reading and get a deeper understanding of the Muzzo family history. The Muzzo family's name graces the lobby of just about every hospital, university, and other public institution in the GTA and beyond. They were donating millions of dollars to causes long before Jr was even born. (A good example is The Columbus Centre and Villa Charities, both originated in the 1970's with Sr.being a major influence). Sr.donated thousands of acres of land over the years in his developments to create parks, schools, and community centers. And guess what, beyond the public buildings that do bare the Muzzo name, Sr.was notorious for donating millions of dollars more anonymously. As for the Mackenzie Hospital donation, the Muzzo family was one of the major influencers in getting this hospital off the ground, long before the Neville-Lake tragedy. Their intent to donate money to it had been long-established years prior and had actually already been negotiated with the hospital organizers.
I have no connection to this family or any of their businesses. I'm just sick and tired of seeing so much hatred and misinformation spread by people who have absolutely no clue what they're talking about. These negative comments don't serve to do anything but paint the legacy of this family black for the sins of one of their members. Their legacy will be tarnished, and justifiably so, however, people need to know the full history of the family before spewing off all of these hate-filled comments.

Awful, awful company. Go with a company you can trust and believe in to get the job done. Too much wasted money for a lot of hassle and run-around. Expect to be paying beyond full price before the job is finished.

After reading all these reviews on this company, I cannot help but feel sorry for the gentleman that had started this company to begin with. It is such a shame that due to the fact that Marco decided to get behind a wheel and destroy the lives of the Neville-Lakes Family.that with it he has also tarnished everything that comes with his family, their names and the company that I am sure the family worked hard to build and re-build again. I am not going to discredit the Neville-Lakes Family at all. I think what Marco has done should very well be paid for.and thus it is with his punishment of being in jail and not being allowed bail in anyway shape or form! Of course by saying this. I still don't believe that Marco is paying for what he has done. I strongly believe Karma will come to him in all the worst forms it can seeing as he has not only taken the lives of children but of course their grandfather aswell. Life is such.it is unfair and I hope that Marco suffers for what his choices have caused. MY point here though.this company isn't a bad company, The workers are NOT all "crack heads" they aren't all drunks and overall this company and their builders they have.work hard and continue to do so accordingly. So I hope whoever is reading this takes this all into consideration. Writing comments follows you.it follows everyone and may give someone the wrong IDEA when no one here really knows. Media good or bad is still something and going forward instead of saying hurtful comments based off of what their son did.shouldn't tarnish their company. It shouldn't tarnish someones hard work.
