Margaret Fairley gave away her deceased husband's Group of seven collection to University of Toronto and has this lovely neighborhood corner playground.
I stopped at Harbord Bakery and ate my lunch at a unique wooden picnic table.

Pretty good. But small. Handy for those that live nearby.

Gets a lot of wear and tear. Has fun water tap and sand pit.tiny splash pad and sprinklers often broken. Overall nice park

Nice park with things to keep children entertained. The only downside is that it is small and a little bit squished. Overall I definitely recommend this park.

The kids really enjoyed the splash pad and sandbox with water spout. The very clean porta potty was extremely helpful. Nice to have trees providing shade from the sunshine.

This is a very unusual wooded park, tucked in a quiet residential area. Though it is a small park, it has many interesting features. A fountain with a large play area, a chess board table, many benches and an interesting sculpture dedicated to a local community member who had helped the people in the area in many ways. The park is named after her.

Nice park, great for kids and very pretty design. I especially like the wooden log seats. It's way too small for walking though.

Beautiful park without hostile architecture, with things to do and beautiful carved benches. Plenty of kids, and some young adults too.

The perfect compact yet full city park.
As someone who like MF has connections to both Yorkshire and Edmonton, I'd say it's grand, eh.

We walked around much of the day, so being able to take off my shoes to cool down in the shallow wading pool made the hot summer day a lot cooler for more enjoying the city during our short visit to Toronto.

Fun friendly park. Lots of families; not only nannies. Very friendly neighbourhood. Many benches playground activities made from tree trunks.
