Marienbad Restaurant

Recently attended an event at marienbad. It started late. The food service was extremely slow. The wait staff was surly and short. It was terribly unorganized.

We had the Atrium booked. It was a rainy day so we couldn't go to the park for pictures. I called at 4: 00, they don't open until 4: 30. He asked if we were the wedding. I explained the situation, "Come on over, we'll make it work! ". They rearranged the tables so we could take pictures and rearranged them again back for dinner.

The staff is friendly and professional. The food is excellent. The beer selection is fantastic. Love the atmosphere and the food is excellent.

Finally tried this after months of wanting to go with my partner. I love their beer selection - dozens of European beers on tap and in bottle. The beers are a bit too expensive but the selection is great. That being said, their food and desserts are priced very reasonably. I opted for the sausage platter and goulash soup and very much enjoyed both. The mustard served with the sausage has quite the kick! My partner had the chicken liver pâté and goulash served with dumplings. The chicken liver pâté was incredible tasting! However, the goulash could have been saltier and the dumplings were not quite how we envisioned dumplings (perhaps this is a Czech variety we are unfamiliar with). Overall, the ambiance was nice and the restaurant had a very cozy feel. It took a bit too long to be served but the service was very good once it began.

Jerry, his wife, and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make our wedding memorable for not only us, the bride and groom, but for all in attendance! We'll be back to celebrate our anniversary each and every year!

Just celebrated one year on Saturday.as promised.:) So delicious, so generous, so amazing!

Food was fresh and delicious, i imagine its the same decor from 30 years ago but the atmosphere compliments the experience. Apparently most of their desserts are made in house and the strudel and chocolate cake were very good.
Lots of beer and drink options to pick from too, you'll find something you've never had before for sure. Would recommend trying this place of you havent already

A magnificent restaurant for those who love the taste, the atmosphere, and the feeling of "classic. " Great German and Hungarian food and an amazing selection of beers and cocktails.
