Just picked up my Lincoln with a problem that has occured 4 times now in the 65 months I have owned the car and I have put on only 50k.for context when I bought the car I had a new battery installed.sometime later the car went into battery save mode, no hesitation they replaced the battery.this happened again and again a new battery.when it happened the third time, last December, they took a deeper dive, found a module or something that may have been a battery drain, replaced it and until now no issues.so again 3 batteries in 65 months and 50k, well this time took it in, they tested the battery, the code said recharge needed so they could not replace it under warranty.so I
picked up the car today, and on the invoice it said, technician suggests I DRIVE MORE OF CHARGE MORE FREQUENTLY. I ask you who drives their car more or puts a charger on your battery on a regular basis.my real disappointment is they had the car over night and did not charge it for me.that's akin to bringing your car in because you have a low tire pressure, they check it, no hole in the tire and tell you, yep pressure it low you should fill it more often, have a good day.

Update May 2023: I recently completed the purchase of a new Lincoln Corsair. Once again, I sought the expert advice of salesman John Kroft. He went above and beyond and I got the perfect car. Alyssa in finance was also very helpful. My first service appointment was stellar. I love the Lincoln pick-up service. On service day, they came picked up my car and left a loaner Lincoln for me to use while mine was serviced.

Recently I made second new-car purchase at Marigold. I worked with John Kroft and Steve Z both times and was very pleased with the deal and how upfront these guys were. I received a fair trade-in value during each purchase and decent pricing on the new vehicles. The service department is great. They are friendly, competent, and on time, with no surprises on the bill. Wi-Fi is available while one waits in the clean, comfortable waiting area for their vehicle to be serviced, but please, how about coffee!

Unfortunately, not only did I run into all this trouble with a simple oil change now two weeks later after the oil change on my dash it says CHANGE OIL, so did they even change my oil because obviously they did not reset my oil life monitor. Simple things that should have been done.

Dear Lincoln Customer Service,

I wanted to make you aware of an unfortunate experience I recently had with one of your dealerships. Despite specifically requesting that only OEM parts be used on my vehicle during a recent service appointment, I was disappointed to discover that this did not happen.

Furthermore, after bringing this to the attention of the service representative and requesting the service manager to contact me, I did not receive a follow-up from either one. In addition, I left a voicemail for the general manager of the dealership, but received no callback in return.

On top of this, when I picked up my vehicle, it had not been cleaned nor was I offered any type of shuttle or ride accommodation. I had to request a pick up after the vehicle had been serviced.

As a longtime Lincoln customer, I am disappointed in the lack of attentiveness and follow-up from your dealership. I would appreciate it if you could take the necessary steps to address these issues and improve upon the service provided by this dealership in the future.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

We were driving back from the Kawartha’s on a Saturday morning, over 2 hours away from home our check engine light came on in the car. I phoned a dealership in Oshawa to see if we could drop in and have them check the codes to see if the car was safe to drive, they said they could “make us an appointment for the following week”. I then called Marigold ford and spoke to Owen. He was extremely helpful and told us we could bring the car right in and ask for him.

Picked up my truck a couple weeks ago and wasn’t going to say anything until I received a review request from the dealership - and my wife if livid. The staff were quite friendly and communicated in a timely fashion and also ensured I heading home quickly since I had driven 2.5hrs however I was left feeling sour about the truck I picked up for two reasons.

First, when I initially inquired about the truck it was listed as a new vehicle with 10km on it. When the dealership responded to my inquiry I was notified that it had 3000km on it and it had been moved to the demo section of the website but still only listed 10km.

Second, the truck based on the photos was supposed to have the FX4 package. When I arrived the truck did not have the FX4 package and when told the pictures were wrong on the site there was nothing offered to me above what was already agreed upon.

At this time I should have just left and went to get an actual brand new truck with the package I wanted but I had just driven 2.5 hours from London to your dealership.

Had I known I wasn’t getting the truck featured in the images I wouldn’t have made the drive to buy from this dealership and would have gone to a closer one.

I feel that this dealership is unethical in the practice of being untruthful. You don’t value me as a customer by not rectifying the situation. I would never recommend that anyone buy from this dealership especially travelling from out of town.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD. WE SAW A MUSTANG ON THEIR SITE AND DROVE ALL THE WAY FROM BRAMPTON TO SEE THE CAR. The sales person named Mike entertained us and we liked the car. There was an engine light on and mike said we will fix it. He was pretty descent man, no problem with him. From next day onwards, sales person PETER dealt with us. He was acting very sweet till the last sign I did on the papers.
On the way back home, the engine light of the car appeared. We asked him about it and he himself said we reset it.his behaviour changed from then onwards. We took the car to him and he was so rude to us, he was talking by pointing the fingers on us. Not even greeted once. He told us to come anytime without calling. And when we reached he was shouting at us, even said dont come here again. Go to brampton for services. He again reset the car. Did not detailed it as promised before buying. So disrespectful person.

Took my brand new F 150 purchased elsewhere (unfortunately) for the first oil change and a problem with the compass (Fraser Ford where vehicle was purchased haven't got back with a fix from November) Marigold fixed the compass problem, did the oil change, loaned me an SUV at no cost as software update took longer than expected. I'm thankful for the great service (Holly & Troy). I recommend this dealership for all your needs.

WORST POSSIBLE DEALERSHIP IN DURHAM. They told me everything I needed to hear to agree to buy one of the luxury Lincoln suvs. Once I had it, when the issues started the “customer service” was disappointing at best. Part of my package was the guarantee of a Lincoln loaner anytime my car was in for service. Of the six times my vehicle has been there I have only once had a Lincoln loaner. My car is due to be serviced now for an emergency computer issue and I am told I won’t have a vehicle until mid December. Once my lease is up, I will NOT give this location another dollar. SHOP ELSEWHERE AND AVOID THE POOR QUALITY TREATMENT.

Phone services usually very good, in person customer service at the service department is good to average, dealership is always very busy so no real personal touch or understanding of who the client is and what their needs are. Staff seem to know their stuff but not genuinely care.

I have used the body shop multiple times for repairs. I have had my Jeep and Mercedes in for accident repairs.
The Manager Steve provided great service and the repairs made the vehicles look like new. Highly recommend this body shop to anyone needing repairs.

It was a lovely evening with Kam to talk about a new Lincoln MKX, I was surprise to see all the feature about new cars, Kam has a way to explain everything, we can see it in his eyes.we trust him. Before I had a Lincoln MKZ and I was very satisfied with it, but I wanted a car with camera and GPS that why I change my car. I like very much my new MKX, I have to learn all the new feature but it will come with the time. Every time I went to Ford dealer for oil change I was always satisfy with the way they do it, and I like when they wash my car. For me it's a plus. Thanks a lot to all the crew at Ford dealer.

I recently purchased an F-150 Lightning from Marigold Ford. Even though this was my first Ford purchase, they treated me well throughout the whole process. They made the purchase process simple and straightforward with no pressure sales tactics, sale tricks or confusing numbers and contracts. They kept me informed of my order along the way and answer all my questions. When they didn’t know the answer immediately they followed up with Ford and got me the answers I needed in a timely manner. The delivery process was smooth and the sales person spent a good amount of time explaining the features, even thought it was a brand new model he researched ahead of time to be able to explain the features to me. Would certainly recommend Marigold Ford to others looking to make a Ford purchase.

Went to Marigold Ford to purchase a new 2022 Ford Escape from the team at the dealership. Overall an excellent experience. They were very helpful in discussing options and ordering the new vehicle. While the vehicle was being assembled and shipped to Canada the updates were very professional and timely. The vehicle arrived on time and without any issues. Overall the team did a great job. Mike Lindo was the sales representative and he was honest throughout the process and the management team was excellent during pickup. No pressure on add-on’s (just honest facts about extended warranty and additional coverage packages that were available). Overall a 10/10 from beginning to end. Thanks to everyone at the dealership!

I would NOT recommend doing business here. I am an out of province customer, I was looking to purchase a 2022 Ford Maverick Lariat that was available and sitting on the lot. After discussing numbers and agreeing to pay full asking price with no additional add ons, the first salesperson Mike advised me it was sold. Then later in the day another salesperson got back to me by email about this same truck and referred me to the sales manager. The manager Peter advised me he did not want to sell me the truck because I am a Manitoban. He discriminated solely based on location. I was willing to give him exactly what he wanted and he stated “it’s our vehicle, we can sell it to whoever we want to”. Save yourself time and frustration and do NOT support this business.

If I could I would have gave them less then 1 star. I took my vehicle in last week for some major repairs that needed to be done. I decided to give Marigold another try, I had previously switched to Fraser for major service but Marigold being closer to home I thought I would try again. Previously I have had warranty work completed on my gas tank, drove home after and had gasoline leaking on my driveway. So I drove back to them to complain and was told to come back tomorrow. I said fine I will park in your lot and let the gas leak in your lot. They took it in and fixed it right then and there. Since then I had brake work done but the brakes seem to only last a couple of years and since pads are warrantied I bring it back to them.
Last week I had to have my rear brakes done and my PTU replaced, total bill around $3,500. When I came to pick up my vehicle the engine light was on, I immediately went in to tell them. The service manager came out and told me that the mechanic wrote down that this light was on when he brought the car in for service (It was NOT ON when I dropped it off). If this was the case why wouldn't they have called to tell me that it was on and the reason and try to charge me more to fix it.
The service manager told that the engine light is on because of a defective sensor and it would cost me over $400 to fix.
I believe that the sensor is defective because of the work that was done installing the PTU.
I would not go back to Marigold or even buy a Ford vehicle after this.

We bought a new F-150 from them less than two years ago. At the time the customer service was great so I gave them a good rating. Little did I know they actually sold us a death trap. In less than two years the tires on the truck were bald…. I’ve had two mechanics tell me to never go back to Marigold. Alignment is completely off and the back brakes are already gone, which makes no sense as the fronts are still fine. Nothing is adding up and they have no answers to give me of course. Was looking to buy another vehicle but if I ever choose a Ford again, it will not be from this dealership. Buyers BEWARE!

Made an appointment days in advance for an oil change. Was coming off nights so I called early in the morning asking if I could come in early they said I couldn't as they're busy but am good to come in at my regular time. Sat in a Tim Hortons across the street for 2 and a half hours. Then they called 10 mins before my appointment saying its a 3 hour wait to get my oil changed. Already made the switch from Fraser ford now I guess I'm done with ford dealerships.

Steve from financing was unhelpful and slowed down the process. Told us we weren’t my parents that have a Lincoln with them. He forgot the part that we had bought a car from him three months before. For a family that have bought 6 cars from them in 8 years that doesn't matter to steve. Then you have the service department that is useless and rude. Was main reason for taking car to local dealership where we were valued compared to marigold that just takes your money and is done with all customer service after that. I do not recommend buy a car here or using there service department.

Disappointing, after trusting the dealer to perform a routine oil change, technician spilled oil in the process which then burned off giving me that smell of burning oil on a hot exhaust manifold for a couple of weeks after, under investigation I also determined the technician didn't put enough oil in the vehicle to the point where it was below the hash marks on the stick, which meant I had to add a liter to bring it in the safe zone, guess I will be doing my own oil changes from now on, one positive thing is the staff is friendly.

It's always a great experience dealing with this dealership. I always deal with Steve in sales and Steve the business manager and they make the process very seamless.

They don’t honor their quoted price. Check the details before you pay otherwise they will charge more!

I need to change the spark plug and was debating either I should do it myself or let them do it. Holly quoted me that labor fee was around $100, I thought that was affordable. But in fact I was charged $170 when I picked up my car, and I didn’t realized that until I look at the bill on the next day. If I knew it was $170 I would have done it myself. I called back to her and the manager Peter, they just never honest with what they said because the phone call was not recorded. Very disappointed, would not recommend doing any services with them.

Our test drive and purchase of a new 2021 Mustang Mach E was welcoming and well managed during the existing pandemic challenges. Safety measures were in place to assure we and dealership staff were protected as much as possible during all phases of the process. From first phone contact to drive away, it was smooth and there was never a feeling of stress to make an quick or uninformed decision.

The only issue I have is with the vehicle itself. The XLT FX4 OFF ROAD does not come with side mirror heaters. I thought this would be part of the package as it came with the tech package. In Canada, this should not be an option on any vehicle.
Other than that, the sales person I dealt with was fantastic. Thanks for the experience.

Worst customer service ever each time I have interacted with this dealership. We hadn't been there in years due to this, but this morning my husband tried to book an appointment there for convenience sake. We were given an appointment day and time and as it was being confirmed at the end of the call we were given a completely different date and time at a much later date. When we asked about the original appointment time, Lisa became rude and condescending stating that they had other customers who take priority. She was exceptionally rude. This is the reason we switched dealership's to purchase the last vehicle and now we feel this will be the last Ford we purchase.

Great customer service from the time I dropped my Ford Escape off to the time the Marigold Ford shuttle picked me up on my lunch hour. Sal Malandrino took the time to call and give me updates on the completion of my Ford’s service. He was able to answer all of my questions I found him very knowledge and very helpful. Sal in the Service Department is fantastic, he helped me out tremendously when my local dealer would not *coughformulacough*. I was having issues with my car. Sal Listened to me when I was really at my worst, he was honest (which is huge for me) and was able to get me back on the road.

Not a great dealership. Very small. Hardly any staff. More importantly, hardly any cars to look at. Not a lot of room to park your car. Would expect better from a brand like Ford. Every time I try this place I’m disappointed. If you do manage to get help, then the folks there are pretty friendly.

Came across this dealership by pure luck when looking for a very specifically built Ford Transit wagon, could not find one anywhere in Ontario they happend to have one in stock.
After contacting them over the phone I was promptly sent a quote, a very good quote which blew my local dealer out of the water.
Being that I'm in Windsor and there up in Whitby I wasn't positive on how the deal would be executed, let me tell you this
This was the quickest and easiest car deal I have ever done they were great to work with and everything went flawless from the sales team to the person who walked me through the vehical upon pick up I couldn't have asked for more.
Deffinitly will be recommending this dealership to all of my family and friends.
