Great local independent grocery store with lots of local produce. You can find everything you need with good quality. I give 4 star as the price is not that friendlier. Especially the hot food counter.

Definitely a place to go for products that are a cut above the norm, especially the meats counter and the produce department.

Very good. They have meals that you can pick up for dinner. The meat counter is amazing. They have a good pasta section egg pastas.

Gourmet store and gourmet prices. But love the selection of products here. Healthier and more unique options that you don't get in other stores.their inhouse baked goods are great too, esp the pound cake.
Now if only the egg prices would stay stable.

First time shopping in person. Loved the store and all the employees that I encountered especially the two young women at the cash were extremely helpful and seemed genuinely happy to be working there. Tonight's visit was courtesy of your competitor who screwed up a simple grocery order. I stopped in for just a couple of items, my wife and I ended up spending $130. And left with about 5or6 bags of stuff.
I will be be back.

Disappointed with the quality of food I purchased at Marilu’s Market. I purchased chicken parmigiana, which lacked flavour. Mostly I’m annoyed that I had purchased a salad with a week left before expiration. When I opened the package at home it was all rotten.

Although I understand these things happen I was not impressed with how it was handled. I first called and was told they were closed and to call again the next day. Instead I sent an email to let them know this happened. Unfortunately my email was not important enough for them to respond.

I will chose to patronage another business. With prices this market charges at minimum I would expect a response to my email.

Great selection of hot sauces, hot counter is good aswell, I wish they served the hot brisket more often. I also find the ground beef to be excellent quality.

Great quality items. Wonderful produce. Knowledgeable butcher shop. Some of the best store made kitchen soup you’re going to find. And more. Tons to like.

Made a special trip to get my favorite carrot cake. Best I've ever had here, cream cheese icing, complete with walnuts and carrots. Got a sugar free apple pie for my diabetic husband, scrumptious. The butcher shop is unbelievable, every thing is perfectly trimmed, priced right and you won't find some cuts anywhere else thick steaks, lamb chops, all kinds of prepared ready to eat chicken, fantastic Cole slaw, bean salads, sausages, AA organic grade produce, a mouth watering selection of prepared dinners. Love this place ️

Just wanted to say Lynn from the bakery is amazing. She went out of her way today to help me with my daughter’s birthday cake. Marilu’s Strawberry Shortcake is the best.

I’ve shopped here for years because of the meat department, produce and bakery. Today had a very unpleasant shopping experience, in a few departments—Slow attention in the meat department when they were not busy, then they were unable to package two buns (the bakery staff were trying to skim through a book and read the bin to print out the $0.99 each kaiser labels, instead of having the cashier ring it in- even though I said I was in a hurry) had to wait over 13 minutes to pick up six items! The store was not busy at all- more staff then customers. Ended up leaving with nothing I was so disappointed! I will pay the premium for the items and service, but today both fell short. Last week I bought a package of croissants—they were baked the day before and already stale! I never thought to check the date because the in-store bakery for years was fresh and above par, I never thought they would put out a stale item and charge full price. Too many misses recently, the response from the assistant manager when I called a few hours later to share my experience was that he would talk to the staff… As a customer that didn’t feel like a resolution or guarantee to have things different.

Always something to buy in this store plus seniors discount staff are always pleasant plus our grand daughter works in the store and loves it. The best!

Best store, and place I’ve ever worked at! Love shopping and working at Marilu’s. Always satisfied with everything I purchase at this store! See you guys soon!

Great meat section, great staff. The tap interact system has needed attention for several months now. A little annoying.

We shop here regularly, and love the Deli counter. BUT what's with putting out 2 to 6 day old Bakers Loaves of bread for full price? I used to get a fresh baked loaf every Saturday morning for years & years, now it's always at least a day old.you have a bakery, so make it fresh every day.that's the point of having your own bakery. Guess I have to go to the bakery next door now. Grrrrrrr

There was a small line to enter. There are common items and also some unique items one can find in a supermarket. The service is good and they are better than most in being COVID safe inside their supermarket.

You may pay a small premium for everyday goods, but rest assured you will always find the very best produce and meat money can buy at Marilus! You can also find other top quality goods, like sauces/pastas/cheeses. And Marilus store made goods never disappoint.

Marilu’s is a boutique supermarket that perhaps is a bit over-rated! While they have a significant selection of fresh meats and deli counter, we were very underwhelmed with the taste of their season chicken (way too salty) and prepared stuffed potatoes (not seasoned well).

One of my fav grocery, great staff, nice deli.always have items not found in other grocery mainstream stores. Place is a gem.

They have the best meat counter Their salmon is also excellent. All of their bags are biodegradable which is fantastic! Why can't the big grocery stores do that? We travel from Woodbridge to Burlington just to shop their. I wish they would expand to the Woodbridge area.

Nice small store with a lot of variety. Great deli and bakery items. Reasonable pricing but you need to know prices as some items are higher priced than other stores.

Never been here before. Needed some spices that have not been able to find anywhere else. I found them here. Lots of great produce, food counter items and gourmet foods.

Produce section is very fresh but can be expensive. The meat counter is where it's at. Damn good prices, a wicked selection, and all their meat just looks amazing. Quality is definitely 5 star.

I like coming here.a bit more expensive than the big box grocery stores but the people that work there are very friendly and plenty of folks to ask if you can’t find something. Great small local grocery store.

Marilu's Market is one of my favorite places to shop. The produce section is exceptional, always fresh and well-stocked. The meat and fish departments are the best in the city, and finally, I love the bakery department, as they carry a variety of gluten and dairy-free treats. As good as the products are, the service is second to none. The managers and workers go above and beyond to please customers. Three cheers to the friendliest supermarket in Burlington!

I would recommend to buy groceries elsewhere. This place is overpriced almost everything.
I paid $7.99 for a case of Activia Yogurt Probiotic 12X100g.
You can get it from Walmart for only $4.77 everyday.

Always love coming here! Great selection of brands and food at the hot table. I just got some plants for my patio from the garden centre and they’re all thriving.

After moving out of town, I always swing by for a few necessities when I visit. Now local to Calgary, I was excited to see they carry Fiasco Gellato. Only place outside of Alberta that I've seen it! Not to mention I had probably the best navel orange I've ever had, from here. Been coming here forever, excellent customer service!

Grateful to have Marilu’s in our neighbourhood. Always a great experience. Terrific meat and produce and a super staff. Have done a terrific job in managing through COVID, always keeping the customers safe.

Great store, great products, and great service. Happy to continue shopping there knowing their commitment to keeping customers safe. Even for those who cannot or do not want to wear a mask they have provided options like curbside pick-up and delivery.

What a gem of a grocery store. I would not buy my meat or vegetables anywhere else in Burlington, but the whole store is amazing and the staff are the very best. Love, love, love this store! (5 stars are not enough)

Staff are super friendly, their produce is always so fresh, and I love that I can find things here that I can't find elsewhere. It's a lovely grocery shop!

This little hidden gem is an amazing place to pick up your groceries, the freshly squeezed OJ is second to none. Previously I would shop at dare I say Whole Foods. Since Amazon purchased WF nothing but a decline in quality of offerings. Check out Marilu’s worth the drive!

The last month has been very difficult. In our view, Marlilus’ performance has been outstanding. The staff have been tireless and giving throughout. Excellent hot food selection, huge meat counter and seafood. Lots of very healthy choices and 10% off Monday and Tuesday for seniors 60 and older.

Very nice produce and absolutely amazing meats. Just a little pricey, but sometimes you get what you pay for.

Bought filets at 30.00 dollars a pound, meat was not tender we cook steaks to medium. If this is what their meat is like will not buy meat here again at the price I paid I expect it to be tender.

There is something here for everyone to love - great fresh produce, including some less-common choices when in season, fantastic bakery, great premade lunches and dinner items (hot and cold) including single servings for those of us who are just one or two in the house. Awesome salad counter and amazing butcher counter including premarinated meats, and great fresh fish and seafood options. The middle of the store has many less-common or harder to find condiments, oils, dressings, etc etc. We used to go here occasionally when I worked nearby around 10 yrs ago, then stopped when we moved away. Back now & living in the area and Marilu’s is better than ever!

Nice variety of produce etc. Deli counter is always busy, make sure you take a number! Prices are on the high side but never been disappointed in quality, freshness.

Used to love their cinnamon buns when they were bigger & less expensive. It's understandable to raise the price but they've also dramatically reduced the size of them. I buy them elsewhere now.

Brought my mom there to pick up some prepared meals, great selection. The produce looked fresh and they had a lot of local produce.

Simply the best and nothing in the GTA comes even close to their meat counter. I make a point of shopping here everytime I'm in the area and wish Toronto had an equivalent.

Fantastic little grocery store with gourmet like foods and meats. The food is very competitively priced. If your a senior the weekly 10% discount makes it even cheaper than most comparable grocery stores in Burlington.
