Located on the south shore of the Ottawa River, the village of Treadwell is halfway between Ottawa and Montreal, in Alfred and Plantagenet Township, Prescott County. I enjoy driving through this region of Ontario, whose population is mostly francophone.

Recently changed from free parking to insanely over priced. $50 for the day for non residents. $10 for residents.
No way to pay on site either. Need to do it in advance at the townhall/ marina but only during weekdays before 4pm.

Used to be great but 2018 they only put out 2 segments of dock, with the rest piled up where parking is supposed to be. This year they still only had 1 segment of dock out by mid-July only suitable for small boats. We had a nightmare trying to dock our pontoon as the dock was too short. The extra sections of dock were piled on the road making it barely 1 lane wide and again taking up parking spots. If the docks were again managed properly I would give it 5 stars.
