Brought my car in to take a look at the broken Air Conditioning, after already spending $1200 dollars there to get it fixed 14 months ago. Of course it was a new part broken that was not covered under the warranty for that repair. Made an appointment for 10 days later. Upon dropping the car off, I get a call half hour later stating the part never came in on time. Would have been nice to know before coming into town and dropping it off. Finally get it fixed 3 days later and the following the day the car is once again not blowing cold air. Waste of time and money. They are either understaffed or are taking on more work than they can handle because it was completely disorganized. Will not be returning.

Another Orillia shop that I have contacted for help. Got no where. Was told asking them for help isn’t a good start. You got that right! It’s amazing how many mechanics in Orillia are parts changers. Ask them to mechanic anything and they claim right up. Lots of ego though!

I've been bringing my truck here since 2019 and have great confidence in their services. Top standards of HONEST and fair work. I always get professional service and high quality work. They always break down the work that is necessary now and what can wait until I can afford it.

Brought my car in for an alignment, guy was nice however told me they couldn’t do the job as the tie rods and control arms were too rusted and may break, wanted to charge me $1250 to replace everything. Went to TWO different mechanics and both advised me the tie rods and control arms were a bit rusted but in no way do they need to be replaced and proceeded to do the alignment for me with no issues. I don’t know if this is just lack of knowledge from Mariposa or just trying to swindle me $1250 but either way this is unacceptable. I am just trying to find an honest and reliable mechanic but that seems like it’s not something that is done anymore!

I unreservedly recommend Mariposa Automotive Services. I find their service to be top-notch and their pricing to be fair and beyond competitive. They don’t make unnecessary repairs or estimates and are attentive to legitimate maintenance details such as brake wear, etc. I had my car in their shop for an entire afternoon attempting to diagnose an electrical problem. They kept it secured in their shop overnight and monitored again the next morning. The suspected cause turned out to be a loose ground wire at the battery. They only charged me for ONE HOUR LABOUR and wouldn’t increase it even when I invited them to. Their estimate to install a trailer hitch was approximately half of what another garage quoted my daughter. Their repairs are prompt, thorough, and only what is necessary. They are now my “Go To” automotive repair service.

The gentleman I dealt with was so accommodating! He was able to squeeze me in last minute when my car really needed some work. Friendly & honest! Would definitely recommend.
