Markdale Home Hardware

My experience has been terrible there was an accidental etransfer with this store front with no purchase of any items. Trying to get the money back to pay rent, was like pulling teeth even after a store manager Lisa admitted she could see the mistake would not give the money back after contacting the police I have since had the money returned they have auto deposited be careful its overwhelming getting your money back, showing them the transfer wasn't good enough seeing the mistake on both ends I do believe they had no intention in giving the money back.

Dave, Leasa, Gord, Trish and the rest of the team are fantastic! Helpful, knowledgeable and just all round excellent customer service!

Great store with exceptional variety and very helpful staff. From the outside it is deceiving, as it looks like a relatively small space, but once inside the store offers incredibly diverse product lines. This location trumps almost every Home Hardware that I have visited, and I try to shop at this chain because they are Canadian, so I have been to many of their stores in both large cities, and smaller centres. Kudos to the owner and manager.

After just moving to the area I have had to go to the hardware store numerous times. I found the folks at the Markdale home hardware to be very friendly and courteous in helping me find exactly what I need. They go out of their way to make sure I get what I was after. They have all the things you want in a hardware store.

Very helpful associates. Had a basket full of items. Would have taken at least twice as long to find all these things in a box store. Shop local.

Staff were quick on helping me find what I needed and some items they didn't have, they offered options for me to try or places that may have them.
