Markham Fairgrounds

Went to the Croc sale and I must say it was so well organized, and staff were so helpful. Special thanks to the young man that searched for another pair of certain sandals for me! Bought 6 pairs, and I hate shopping but you made my experience an enjoyable one!

Markham fair was alright, the usual overpriced food and rides. Kids actually didn't enjoy it as much to my surprise.

Holds one of the biggest fairs in Ontario. Lots to see and do the weekend before Canadian Thanksgiving.

The markham fair grounds need a serious overhaul. Last weeks fair was boring as hell. Expensive rides, very little for adults to actually do. Make it more accessible. Not worth the admission.

Getting $$$ over the years, with not much value. Oh don't touch animals don't feed grass, those are city boy animals that got allergies. Goodness! Why not just stay home with a pet, or put that $75 and go to a zoo instead. Has become over sanitized city club. One 'non colored' haggler with water bottle shop, tried to rip me off 'oh you scratched the bottle'.

Good place I love it I highly recommend the workers and you should go on the snake rollercoaster.

This ground is terrible when wet, do not wear your nice or white shoes here. (Lots of mud.)

Bumpy parking lot and lots of potholes.

Great place to hold a warehouse sale or a kids fest. They never used to charge for parking before but now it's $5 plus tax.

We enjoyed a great day with our son Shaun and grandson Elijah walking through the fair and seeing the animals and displays.

Went to Christmas Market. It was nice.not sure why they charge 20$ at the door. Seemed a little silly to pay to go shopping.

Big open area for large events, lots of parking. I miss the days of the car shows that were here.

Visited Mark ham fairground when they had the AMAZON liquidation sale. Always nice to see deals. Easy parking. Friendly staff.

Bit of a different feel at Markham Fair this year. Safety applies here as the venue pushes everyone in one direction. Lines into the barns to check out the small and large farm animals. HomeCraft exhibit was a bit empty but it was nice seeing the winning selections they had. Along the way waiting in the lines they have a lot of static displays you can take you shots at and keep busy while waiting in line. Spent most of the time at the farmers market checking out vendors and supporting the cause. Food trucks also not bad. Grab your seats first! Tickets selling out fast. Free parking and plenty of space.

Ware house sale is just a joke all the non branded coats are too expansive in same price I buy CK or other brands from retail stores why we drove to that much far for same price and poor quality stuff. I never back there is just non sense to go there. Warehouses sales mean cheaper stuff compare to stores. MF actually more expansive then stores and waste of time drive too. Not recommend to others.

Went to fair today. Car line up was single file and really slow. There were signs everywhere telling people to wear masks but some families chose not to and staff didn't enforce it even for indoors

Setting up for Markham Fair 2021! Hoping that absence has made the heart grow fonder and wishing for a safe but huge turnout!

Markham Fair is happening this year on a more subdued nature but you can still see farm animals, events and have Carnival eats. Looking forward to it.

Had an amazing time at Markham Fairgrounds with my family. Our experience was seamless from the free parking, to going through the ticketing area and being shown to our private pod that could seat 6. We felt comfortable and safe at the event (they followed all social distancing protocols) and we could see the stage and screens perfectly. I would highly recommend this venue.

Amazing event space! Clean organized spacious safe and well managed. Recently attended the Together Apart Show. What an experience it was. Sound lighting and performers all on point. Get your tickets and share in this innovative work or art.

Poor management and poor event. The entire traffic from all directions are shut down for the Dino event and nobody from the management seems to be care. What’s the point of choosing a time on ur ticket if u don’t limit how many people are coming at the same time? Does management not care about customer’s experience? Just sell as much as tickets u can? Does it affect ur facility’s reputation if the customer are waiting in the line for THREE HOURS for a 15 minutes event?

Went here for Dino Drive. 1hr wait, no order in lines. Was told to loop around instead once I got back they started letting people from the oncoming side.

Huge space. Lots of parking. Different vendors book this space. Great sales on various items throughout the year.

Beautiful place to visit and spent good time with family with the rides foods and animals, very useful and good exercise I loved it and I definitely go back whenever they open and we all should visit to get your kids a little educated for about animals.

Its a weird mix of rural and urban entertainment. Personally I like how unique the Markham Fair can be. Make sure you watch for the fireworks at the end of festivities. It really makes fighting the cold with poutine and coco/coffee worth it. A complaint i have is the size of some of the lines for food. Plenty of foodtrucks but none of them didnt have a line across the main street.

Fairs of different kind are hosted here. A bit north of markham but I like this place.lots of farms around and you get the suburban feeling of fresh air and pure foods.

Tom’s Warehouse Shoe Sale event — Large space. You will have to go through the boxes to look at each style of shoes. The warehouse is split into two large sections men (where cash registers are and the sunglasses booth) and women (plus kids section). Each side is then subdivided into sizes. Wait until the last day of the event. They offer a better deal. The selections for shoes are the same whether you go at the start of the sale or at the end. The sunglasses selection might be limited if you decide to shop last day though. Wish I knew sooner so I could have gotten more shoes for the amount I spent.

Just a friendly tip: make sure you get charged correctly. The female employees I dealt with all seemed to think the high-cut shoes for men were considered boots and wanted me to pay the higher amount. I had to ask them to speak to their male employees as the shoes I was buying were actually considered lace-ups. It’s a $10 difference in price. The male employees all confirmed that they were not considered men’s boots.

We went there for liquidation sale turns out not so you can find in town better price then go all the way there

We really enoyed the Markham Fair. There was lots to see and do. The super dogs and musical ride were favourites.

Lots of events hosted here throughout the year, recently had a warehouse sale for toys and winter gears

It's the Markham Fair and I've been going since I was a fetus 51 years ago. Kinda miss the draw for the cow and the arcade that used to be there but still a fun fall fair

If you're looking for interesting, unique Christmas decorations and related merchandise, look no further. This place is amazing and has very good sellers with some very nice items as well as some unique foods.
The only caveat is that it's only for three days and it is not the cheapest either; however, most of the merchandise is very high quality produced locally or within Canada.

Took my daughter to the Markham Fair. We had a good time. The location is ok - far from downtown Toronto, but certainly not a two-hour drive.

Cheap shops are Asian scams.
They over charge on the charges listed.
The products are Chinese fake duplicates and they want cash.
We have to speak to multiple employees and landed on to the owner, paid almost $50 less.
Stay away from cheats.

I grew up in Markham so the fair is always a special time of year. I like to describe it was a smaller scale version of a hybrid between the CNE and the royal winter fair. Games, rides, food, animals some interesting artisanal products, I'll alway make an attempt to head out. Keep in mind, it's usually chilly if you venture out at night so bring a toque and gloves just to be careful!

Everybody loves Markham Fair! It's a real country fair - livestock, rides, shows. Great fun for a pastime that is disappearing!

We went for the Markham fair. It was a nice family day out but very overpriced. The cost of the ride and game tickets was ridiculous and the games were so rigged the children couldn't win anything. The food was also so overpriced, $15 for a small plate of chicken and chips for kids. The show events were great and the exhibits were great. The entry fee should be one price for everything.

Awesome place to visit the cosmetics, clothing, shoe ware and other tent sales are offered here on cheaper prizes and the entrance needs a ticket.parking lot is huge and easy to find a parking.

Seriously need to consider who they have representing them as their General manager. Tom was extremely rude, unprofessional and disrespectful when dealing with my colleague and I. Definitely not someone who should be in such a high position if they want to act that way.

Disappointing this year (2019), many vendors, booths, rides and usual attractions not there. Been coming here many years and grounds rounds visibly sparse this time around. I hope this isn't the beginning of the end

Been going since I was a kid. It's not really fall until you've taken a ride on the zipper, watched the horses, and picked up farm fresh apples and pies.

My 6 year old son was unfairly treated and we had a very bad day in Markham Fair free kid craft booth!

My son was politely asking for a few more plastic maple leaves to finish his work by raising his hand twice, no one responded to him. And the woman came and urged him to finish his craft and leave, in a VERY RUDE manner: she impatiently snatched the glue from my son's hand, grabbed his work (almost ruined it), then threw back to my son!

I told her that my son just started and didn't really take a lot of time. No one was really waiting behind us and there were a few kids started earlier who were still there making their crafts peacefully. She dismissed me and showed a very bad attitude to me by hitting the glue back on the table in front of my little boy.

I was humiliated and incredibly angered by this behavior. Someone with such poor people skills and a lack of common courtesy should stay away from any kids.

Markham Fair is fun. Love the monster trucks if u are into that.it's like a mini CNE but still good and logs of great fair food. Good way to close out summer and welcome fall with kid friendly stuff.

Was there for the 'Brands Gone Wild' market. Some really exceptional deals. It only ran for two weeks (Thurs - Sun) but they seemed to have a good turn out & should be back again.

Came here for a party, massive parking lot and event grounds. Lots of exits and not much traffic when your leaving the event. Great for big outdoor events

Big and spacious place, parking is on grass and gravel very inconvenient if you have a nice car, the actual grounds it self were horrible, rocks and gravel, if you don't have proper shoes on it will hurt your feet

The management of Markham Fairgrounds is horrible. They should go through retraining or probably be replaced. They double booked their arena, and caused events. Very poor management is the only thing that is possibly the problem. Very unprofessional.

Popular location for many warehouse sales. It is also a popular location for fair and festival. Lots of parking and very easy to find. A great place to host these events.

Great venue for a Caribana show. Very large open space with lots of parking. The only issue is it's not accessible by public transportation.

Good sales. Four stars because parking can be a challenge in the front. Gets muddy and often see cars get stuck. Photo taken at the luxury designer warehouse sale in April 2019.
