Blu Dental –“A Team of good People”

My prior dentist of 30 years, could best be described as a family practice dentist.
At age 62 with all the easy molars either filled or with root canals, my future dentistry needs would be more complex. I needed a dentist with which I could develop a new relationship and that I could trust to give me good advice and dental care going forward. I found exactly that in the Blu Dental team.
“Good People Attract Good People”
I explained to my sleep study practitioner that in addition to feeling fatigued each morning that I severely ground my teeth to the point of infecting the gums and loosening my root canal. I needed a solution to both my sleep disorder as well as protecting my teeth. The practitioner showed me a standard list of dentists practicing in the field of sleep disorders, but pointed to Blu Dental and said “ go see Dr. Andrea Ho- Fatt Wang on your drive home”- So I did. I was booked for a consult later that same week.
Blu Dentals initial first impression was of a newly renovated, clean and technically state of the art dental office. I was seen initially by the owner Dr. Andrea Ho-Fatt Wang assisted by Raquel. They took their time, listened to my story, carefully manipulated, measured and assessed my mouth for the suitability of an oral appliance. I never felt rushed. Then most importantly, they explained it all to me.
Since that initial consult I have been seen by Raquel, Nam, Rachel and Lana. Dr Andrea’s no nonsense, professional, personable leadership style has been adopted the entire team. This is truly a “team of good people”.

My Sleep Issue,
I was diagnosed from the sleep study, with mild REM and supine-dependent obstructive sleep apnea. During REM sleep this occurred 25 events per hour with oxygen saturation nadir decreasing to 82%. In laymans terms I felt like “shit” when I woke up each morning. Dr Andrea recommended a mandibular advancement splint oral appliance and provided a quotation. Lanas expertly crafted cover letter outlining details of the recommendation to the insurance company, was the difference maker in getting 60% of the cost covered by my insurer.
My journey to feeling better from better sleep is well underway. I have been wearing the device nightly for about one month now. Snoring is reduced. I feel more refreshed upon waking. I have no issues of dry mouth overnight. The oral device has made a difference and been a success.
In summary, I have confidence that the Blu Dental team can meet my future dental needs and appreciate the expert help received in improving my quality of sleep.

This is my first time visiting a dental facility here in Canada and I can tell you that I was really treated with the highest form of professionalism and care. The facility is super clean and their service was excellent. Right from the front desk, the staff there was friendly and genuinely invested in excellent service delivery. From there I was taken to the lab for a scan by another wonderful staff by the name Song and finally, the doctor was super friendly. In all the atmosphere was simply awesome.

I have had an amazing experience coming here for my invisalign treatment. The staff is very professional and extremely welcoming and kind. From the intial consultation, the Blu Dental team and Dr. Ho-Fatt, took great care in answering any questions I had regarding invisalign and made sure I knew what was going on at every step of the process. I am a few months away from completing treatment and I am already amazed at how good my teeth look! I would highly recommend anyone to visit Blu-Dental for their dental needs.

When I first came in, I had seen a previous orthodontist who had ruined my teeth. I started invisalign with Blu Dental, they took off my old attachments and replaced them and my teeth are already looking so much better. I am so happy with how my treatment is going, although it is still in the beginning stages. The staff is phenomenal and so kind. It's a very far drive for me but absolutely worth it knowing I'm in good hands!

Dr. Ho-Fatt Wang patiently and thoroughly walked us through the various oral appliance options available for my tween-aged daughter. It did not take long for her to decide on her own that Invisalign was her best choice. Before long she was all set up, her teeth were digitally scanned and custom weekly trays were provided for a perfect fit. In a short few months we noticed a dramatic change not only with the alignment of her teeth but in her smile and confidence. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about the product and experience with Dr. Ho-Fatt Wang and her team. Kudos!

I have been with MHHC for years now and have been extremely happy with the service provided by everyone at the clinic. I want to give a special shout-out to Lana, one of the receptionists at MHHC, who took my dental call today and went above and beyond to ensure that I could get the appointments I needed and provided me with exemplary customer service! She understood the struggles of making appointments during work hours and did her best to accommodate my schedule! Thank you, Lana, for assisting my entire family today and for being so kind and accommodating!

Dr. Ho Fatt, and the hygienist Danielle are amazing. They are knowledgeable and they care about their patients. The clinic is amazing and staff is great.

Had 2 appointments so far, Dr. Ho-Fatt Wang and the entire dental team (Danielle, Crystal, etc.) are very friendly, professional and caring. They are also very patient in answering all your questions and explaining everything. It's always a pleasure to visit the clinic, would highly recommend to anyone!:)

I visited the clinic to get a custom-made sleep appliance to help with my sleep apnea/snoring. Dr Andrea Ho-Fatt Wang was the dentist who helped me with the process which extended over a couple of months (includes making a mould, factory making the appliance, adjustments and testing). The appliance has helped to reduce my snoring by about 95% and the sleep apnea is now in the mild region.

Throughout my attendance at the clinic, DR Ho-Fatt Wang has shown that her patient’s satisfaction and care are very important to her.

This is really a dental clinic than a medical clinic. In regards to the medical clinic, it is not ideal for walk-ins. I was advised of a 4 hr wait if I decide to walk in. There is barely anyone there on most days. Appointments are usually 2-4 weeks out in terms of availability for current patients. New doctors work less hours with limited availability. The main doctor is difficult to book (4-5 weeks in advance).

I have been to Dr. Ho-Fatt Wang's office for regular dentistry work and cleanings for a couple of years already. I had concerns with spacing and gaps between my front teeth and was asking about Invisalign, the clear braces at her office as well. I love this office, I can get cleaning, fillings and Invisalign braces all in the same place. I am extremely happy with the work she does and all the staff here are so friendly.

So grateful for Dr. Ho-Fatt and Dr. Wang! 20 years and my health has never been in better hands.

I've been waiting here for almost two hours now! Absolutely unacceptable! This place SHOULD NOT be called a "Walk In Clinic" because as a walk in patient, you're patronage is NOT VALUED AT ALL! You just keep getting bumped to the back of the line every time a scheduled patient comes in. Also, they are NOT accepting new patients, so even if I wanted to sign up as a new patient, I can't. Ridiculous! If you're a walk in patient, do yourself a huge favour and go somewhere else. Otherwise, be prepared to be an extremely patient patient. Looks like the doctor doesn't keep scheduled appointments anyway, because regular scheduled patients are waiting absurdly long waits too. Absolutely terrible customer service! Im about to walk out. They DO NOT care about people who are sick and in pain! I'd give zero stars if it was possible. I'm making sure I share this review with absolutely every social media outlets I have at my disposal, it's THAT BAD!
