I called to book an appointment for an X-ray on Friday. I was informed that I could do a walk-in the next day anytime between 8: 00 AM and 2: 30 PM. Curious about the wait time for walk-ins, I inquired about how long I might need to wait. The response was that if I arrived early, the wait would likely be short. I confirmed my intention to arrive at 8 am.
However, things took a turn on Saturday morning when I arrived. The receptionist informed me that walk-ins were only accepted from 1: 00 PM to 3: 00 PM. Apparently, the 8: 00 AM walk-in option was exclusive to patients on the lower floor. Despite noticing that there were only two patients ahead of me, the staff remained firm in not allowing me to proceed with the X-ray. This experience reflects both poor customer service and their unwillingness to solve the issue.
My first two ultrasounds for pregnancy went very well and efficient - five stars to the two different technicians I saw.
For the anatomy ultrasound, I realized more than a week in advance that I had a potential work scheduling conflict depending on how long the appt would last. I called several times to try to re-schedule with no luck and explained my situation. Unfortunately, there were no other availabilities which was completely understandable and I kept my appt. I was told the appointment could be 30-60 min.
Upon entering the room for my appointment, I was informed by the technician that they were a student and their supervisor was coming. I have several issues with this: 1) I was not informed of this prior to the appointment and my consent was not received for this educational assignment. I get they have to get their experience somewhere, my family physician is a resident.
2) I was informed that her supervisor would be coming, I assumed this meant in 5 min or so. Her supervisor did not come until 45 min into the appointment.
Overall, I felt that my time was wasted and the appointment not properly supervised. No surprise that I had to do a follow up scan. I cannot understand why I was not informed that I would be a guinea pig knowing that I had a tight schedule that day.
We were also very sad that none of the ultrasound pictures were any good.
Today February 9 went for x ray and ultrasound. Reception girl was veer rude Bone density lady was rude Does not know to call the patient I don’t think I can go there again
