I’ve been doing business with Markham Mower for 37 years. My first purchase was a Yamaha snowmobile in 1985. Andy from Markham Mower was highly recommended by a friend of mine. I soon discovered why Markham Mower was so highly recommended. They’ve always treated me professionally, honestly and offer fair pricing. They are friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. They have the best mechanics in the business.
I have lost track of how many products I’ve purchased over the years. I’ve purchased generators, chainsaws, lawn equipment, ATV’s, snowmobiles and side by sides. Although I don’t live in Markham I will travel there because I’ve always received outstanding service. They treat their customers the way they would want to be treated.
The last few years Brad has looked after me. I still receive the same outstanding service to this day. Recently I took my side by side in for routine service and Alex spotted a problem that I forgot to mention when I dropped it off. Without being told he spotted the problem and repaired it promptly and at a reasonable price. He is very thorough, meticulous and takes preventative action. I trust him 100%.
Thank you to everyone at Markham Mower for such great service over the years. It’s easy to understand why you’re still in business after so many years. I highly recommend Markham Mower.

I would like to recommend Markham Mower service to all of my friends who needs mower maintenance service. The staff there are very professional and helpful. I brought my 6 years old lawn mower with HICCUP problem in for a maintenance service in Sep.this year. When I picked it up, it looks like a brand new machine and no more HICCUP.

I was having tuning issues with my stihl chainsaw. The guy working there was super helpful came outside right away and tuned it super quickly and easily. Definitely recommend going there again.

I went to Markham mower to get my mower blades sharpened and right when I walked in I was greeted they were very honest and I went on Saturday and there usually supposed to do the blades by Thursday but they did it right there same hour and overall my experience there was very good and will keep going to them

If I could give them 0 star I would do it. It's a worst place for service repair ever I saw in my life. I brought them to fix a Husqvarna cut and break saw. The repair took me a month and half. By that time I have to call them many times to follow the order, most off time they not return calls. I have to remind them to make sure there is a second spare belt was ordered and it wasn't. They add later. Never mind I told them on a beginning and full details what I asked they have it in a file, but by the the end I didn't get it. I am also ask them to fix one bolt that was by another repair shop and get loose all the time but they didn't do that either and replace another original bolt with another original that they ordered. In the end the guy just said to me He don't know what to do anymore - like its this is my fault and also - if I wanna keep the saw for another month to fixed. - what's a joke.
I mean maybe you can buy the equipment from them. I understand not so many places but don't trust them for service after.

I read your respond. Guys you have to learn one lesson.

1. Don't lie. You lied about me, about your story, and about your motivation

2. Be responsible. You should be responsible for your promises. You said we can fix so fixed. You could just say, "Sorry! " We can't fixed. We don't know how.
Don't LIE and be RESPONSIBLE.

3. Respect your customer.
You guys did damage to me. I gave you a saw. You hold it for a wild, you bring me thus saw undone by my request. I paid you in full.
The saw broken in first day I tried to work with it.

Visited Markham mower for the first time recently looking for a replacement part for a 15 year old Craftsman snow blower. To my surprise they had the part available and were able to get it from one of there other locations within 1 day, great turnaround.
Friendly & knowledgeable staff make the customer experience very easy. I will be using them again when in need for parts or new equipment.

I purchased 2022 Yamaha snowmobile at Markham Mower. Had a very good experience. I bought the snowmobile through Brad and he was great to deal with. He is also very familiar with the snowmobile and knows it inside out, he rides one too and understands what you want. You don't never feel like he is only giving you sales pitch. The mechanics are also top notch and know there stuff. Highly recommend!

Initially i wanted to give a ONE Star, i dropped my snow blower Tuesday morning, was told i'll be reached out same day if not next. No one called be back with a Quote that the Auger broke, its obvious.

I called next day, they were surprised no one called me, the rep (won't say who) said will call back 10-15mins, two hours later, also no call back.

Thursday morning (Today), received a call and they fixed it.

1. Not sure why it took two days to call for a quote that something is obviously broken.

2. Repair was done without authorization.

However, they are 100% honest and genuine people, Rep to Technicians, they didn't just ask me to pay arm and a leg to replace something, they actually repaired it fraction of a cost. Very reasonable cost too.

Because of that, i will continue to bring my equipment there and recommend other people to go there because of their Honesty.

My first visit to Markham Mower was 35 years ago when Andy (Straw) was one of the mechanics and I’m still going back! I have purchased parts for sleds, bought chainsaws & trimmers, snowmobile apparel, asked and gotten help/guidance when I needed it and last year a brand new Sidewinder. Dropped it off this week for service and picked it up this morning. The staff is amazing, the service is excellent, I trust them to do what I ask and they always do that and then some. What’s truly impressive is that it still feels the same today as it did the very first time I walked in, Andy has not only taught his family and staff well, he has picked the best people……will see you soon, thank you!

Bought a Toro snowblower from Markham Mower and the sales experience was great with friendly service. I did run into a minor issue with my machine but the after sales service from Bryan was exceptional and was taken care of very promptly without any hassle. Will definitely recommend going to Markham Mower for outdoor power equipment.

I bought a Stihl trimmer from this company more than 10 years ago. I always go back to it for parts and service and its staff always act professionally. What happened to me three days ago, I consider as very unusual and deserves my extra effort to give it a good, fair review.

I took my trimmer to the store because I couldn't release the cap of the spool and the spool not turning. I got help immediately from the staff, Andy. He took my trimmer to the back of the store and came back with a new spool. The spool had overheated.melting some of the plastic. He patiently showed me how to use the newly designed spool.

However, the spool still did not turn. So Andy took it to the back of the store again When he returned about 30 minutes later, he had replaced the trimmer's shaft with a used shaft he found in the workshop. He explained to me that the shaft had to be replaced because its bearings had worn out. Not only he got the job done satisfactorily, I was not charged of the used shaft.

Thanks to Andy, now my trimmer works beautifully,

Great customer service! First time finding this store due to ordering a carburetor kit. Spoke to Bill and he advised me on how to service my machine and what to look for. Very friendly and not pushy, they provide honest advice. Would recommend to family and friends. Thanks for the help!

When we first moved into our own house, I was brought to Markham Mower to purchase our first mower. When my wife bought our snowthrower, she also went to see them. Both are still running, and I've always found that MM was happy to help find the materials we needed, to get the thrower working again when I made a gas storage error or even to bring in new wheels for the back of the mower when the rough ground of Stouffville cracked the old ones.

I have been markham mower customer over 10years. Always service all my snowblower at this location, recently had my snowblower service and some issue occur, but high five for all staff especially Brad for taking the time to diagnosis the problem and even show me the root issue, highly recommended for such a great store. Will continue all my service 8n this location for my foreseeable future! Great job markham mower and all staff

I have been dealing with Andy and Bryan for the purchase of some new lawn equipment and these two guys are absolutely fantastic. Both of them went out of their way to answer every question and were both extremely knowledgable on all of the equipment they sell. This is a family run business and I would highly recommend dealing with them to anyone in the market for landscape equipment!

My son started his landscaping business this year and I had wandered into a couple stores checking out some machines for him. A friend recommended I make a stop in to see the guys at Markham Mower. Right in the door was greeted. One of the guys came right over when I was looking at a Stihl trimmer. Knowing a was probably just looking at the time, he still was more than happy to spend some decent time talking to me about all the options for my son's needs and actually recomended a model down from what I was thinking he needed. He was genuinely interested in my son and the success of his new business. Thats service you rarely see these days. Knew this was the place we were buying his equipment and picked up a beauty trimmer at a great price. Time came to pick up a hedge trimmer. Again, greeted right away. Quality discussion about the options and had a great new hedge trimmer ready to go. And it doesn't end there. He has a Toro mower and one of the guys lost the air cleaner cover and filter late in the day. Gave them a call, unfortunately they didn't have the cover. But they called him back in 5 minutes and they had one found and reserved close by to pick up.
Customer for life and beyond a highly recommend to these guys.
See you guys soon for a leaf blower and I'm sure much more as he keeps growing his business.

Took my Toro mower into Markham Mower at the beginning of March. Explained everything to Bill and he said bring the mower in no problem.
Wheeled part of the mower in and brought the rest in a basket. It did not phase him in the least, left it with him said he would call with the estimate. He called a few days later I said go ahead it was done about two weeks later. I had been to the original dealer that I bought the mower from and they wanted $600.00 to $800.00 to repair it. Bill quoted me a third of that price and I could hardly say go ahead fast enough. Found them to be most courteous and knew what they were talking about and cared about the customer. They have a life long customer from know on. Everybody should be going here to purchase there lawnmowers, after market service is worth more than the machine as I found out from the place I had bought my mower.

Was hesitant to buy from a smaller company when compared to the big box stores but after going back and forth to price shop etc, I made up my mind and bought a toro snowblower from Markham Mowers, their price was also more competitive. Good service, knowledgeable and courteous. Not pushy at all with their sales associate and they give you the info you need to buy the right equipment and did not feel like I was be up sold to a different or more expensive product.

Had my Honda lawnmower serviced here after it continued to foul spark plugs every 5 minutes. Dropped it off on Thursday and it was ready to go on Friday! Great service, quick turnaround time, honest pricing. Will definitely be going back.
