Easy to access all the areas we used were very clean and well maintained, security and other personnel were really kind and helpful.

Great place. I’ve been here for Taekwondo tournaments many times as an athlete, coach and referee and have always enjoyed it. The facility is nice and clean and the staff are kind and helpful.

This is a great athletic facility built to host badminton, table tennis and water polo for the 2015 pan am games. It is now used for many athletic events including martial arts, volleyball and swimming competitions. It is very comfortable for spectators and has its own fitness facility open for fitness memberships. Parking can be limited.

It’s so hard to find a 50m swimming pool. Glad they have it here. I really hope they can have more time slot for 50m lane swim.

The Markham Pan Am Centre is huge complex with a huge gym and Olympic sized pools. I myself is a provincial level swimmer, and I train at the pool here. There is also a York University campus being build next door so that's interesting.

Awesome place for swim competitions. Can’t wait for the gym to open again so I can work out while watching the kids compete!

Great sports complex, wonderful staff with a warm and welcoming environment. Plenty of free parking both for visitors and patrons. Highly recommended using the facility for all your health and fitness needs!

I played a volleyball tournament here, it's a great facility with high ceilings and good clean floors.

Staff were super well protected, everyone was observing social distancing. Facility was clean, pool ran very smoothly overall.

Large place for sporting events. They have a good cafe that offers lots of healthy and/or filling snacks, gym and Olympic-sized pool. Very clean and well-kept too. Close to GO station and other bus stops.

Very nice facility. Well planned multi sports complex. The basketball facility was good for spectators.

Pretty nasty, they just had a event at the pool with over 1000+ swimmers. No body made the effort of taking a shower, or life guards asking people to take a shower before they enter the pool. It was wrenching watching everyone swim in their own filth.yuck! Call your local health inspector.

Great pool & gallery, lots of free parking, but OMG the cafeteria is staffed by 1 slow person and lines regularly exceed 20 min.

Nice clean facilty, unfortunately the seats are way too small and uncomfortable in the veiwing area for the pool.

Went there for pan am games a couple years back (2016 i think) and for my cousins competition. Nice big pool and ok seats.

This is a very nice facility, the best one with a pool in the whole area. Very spacious, plenty of seats in the viewing area for spectators. There is a snack bar with drinks and some food on site. Plus you can walk around inside the facility to get a bit of exercise when waiting for athletes to perform their sports. Overflow parking area could use some gravel, at least, as it gets dirty when wet outside.

Nice selection of types of sports you can play. Although I haven't explored much inside (as I'm a swimmer and reside in the pool), it's not the place to go for ice skating. It's definitely well kept though, haven't seen much trash laying around.

The pool facility is great but the swim clubs, and public swimmers are very inconsiderate of each other.
Clubs, swim meets, and public lane swimmers do not shower before they enter the pool.
To those that do shower before they enter the pool, THANK YOU for being considerate to others that share the pool with you.
The rules are written in the change room that say " you must shower before entering the pool" are not enforced. Lifeguards rather chat with each other, staff ignore patrons, and management just adds chlorine and acid to shock the pull till my skin burns.

Just takes a rinse to wash off your butt sweat.

Love the Markham Panam Centre. Friendly staff. Brightly lit and clean. Spacious. We love attending there for our high school championship swim meet.

A lot of good facilities Pool is Olympian standard.there is a cafe changing rooms are very clean.

Community centre on steroids. Excellent facilities (gym, pool, courts, change rooms with showers, food counter)

Went for the Muai Thai nationals, nice venue. No alcohol though unfortunately but it's not that type of place. Would recommend.

Good centre but the change rooms are pretty bad, the water is not stable, half of the time are cold water, and lots of faucets are like broken, I see kids leaving the water on after shower every time I visit. I recommend they put a sign there to remind their parents to turn it off. I can only turn it off when im there. (We mostly use the family one.) Can't take photo as it's a changing room.

I'm not happy as people doesn't really care it's a waste of tax payers money and clean water. Not impressed with that as our government always waste our hard earning money.

Otherwise staff are nice.

The pool is clean and modern, but the changeroom is pretty dirty. There is dirt on the floor some of the time and there is garbage on the floor and stalls. Some of the lockers are also not clean during the winter because they have salt from people’s shoes.

Best would be to have 2 scores - for inside and for outside. Inside- 5, outside 1. See photos.
For any event you can get normal parking and forced to used dirt area. There you get either dust or mud or swamp. Can't believe such great facility does not have enough of proper parking. Its been 5 years!

Easy to get in, parking is not enough for events & super far from any entrance. Not good when have disabled person with you. Staff was very friendly.

It's Ok place to workout at the gym. During the weekends this Pan Am hosts a bunch of sporting events and competition meets so it can get PACKED quickly. There's a bunch of lockers in the change rooms and they're usually cleaned. I personally think their fitness facilities and maintenance is understaffed. Some treadmills make squeaky noises and in need of maintenance. Parking is normally plenty, unless you're going during the weekends then it can get packed. I like the cafeteria food there when its open.

Very nice gym. Spacious. Good change rooms. Entrances are poorly located. Expect to walk a significant distance if it's busy when you come.

Nice building overall but the pool is so cold. I've been practicing in that pool for 3+ years and still can't get use to it. I understand the fact that its a competition pool, but a few degrees higher couldn't hurt - especially when compared to the Toronto Pan Am pool

Facility is great but watch were you park as they love to give out tickets when you park in places that look like parking spots but are not.

Beautiful complex with good weight room and two pools with 25 meter swim lanes and starting blocks.

Despite two change rooms for male and female, it had a low number of actual toilets.

It promotes recycling by simply not having any trash cans in the facility so be ready to carry out any trash. It does have compost and recycling cans.
