I’m due in two weeks and ive been so anxious about having to go on labour and the birthing process. I tried to look for a complimentary class on these topics but couldn’t find one until i saw their ad in social media. I’m so so glad i signed up for all their classes cause i just finished their labor and delivery #1 5 minutes ago and learned so so much. Looking forward to the next classes.thank you!

Took the Tummy Talks breastfeeding class - increadibly helpful and reassuring. Information was to the helfpul and to the point, presenter was honest with her recommendations, and very reassuring. Would recommend.

Great classes - very informative and concise. The presentations contain a lot of videos and animations which is super helpful for better understanding. Facilitators are knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I would definitively recommend their courses.

This is a great course for first time moms. Great instructors. The four part course is well worth your time and it's free! Applicable to any woman, they don't have to be delivering at Markham Stoufville Hospital.

I found the free prenatal classes to be very informative. Highly recommend it. Even if you know the information, it reinforces and makes you feel more empowered

The classes Markham Prenatal provides are so so helpful. They're online so you can take them at home and they're full of useful information. As a first time parent, they've helped me feel more confident and at ease, giving me a better idea of what's to come and the steps I can take for my myself and my baby.

Markham Prenatal's labour and delivery class is an exceptional course for expectant parents - whether they are delivering at the Markham Stouffville Hospital or not! I learned a lot during this course and would definitely recommend it to friends or family.

Took this class as a supplement to an in person one coming up later to get some hospital specific information, unfortunately the nurse conducting the session seems uninterested in the material and breezes over a lot of details. None of the relevant information that you'd need to note is actually written on the slides. It would be more helpful to read a booklet on hospital specific policies and options.if there was one. This is also complicated by the fact that there are no hospital tours currently. Most information you can learn from a good prenatal book, but a few details about Cortelluci you might get from this if you're willing to sit through the presentation.

Amazing webinars in general. I'm pregnant for the first time and expecting a baby some days feels a bit overwhelming, specially if you are from a different country, are here just with your husband and because we don't know exactly what to expect, unfortunately nor moms or babies come with instruction manuals.but by experience I can tell that these webinars helped me clarifying a lot of things in my head and make me more confident on myself that at the end everything will be fine and the cherry on top of the cake: all webinars from pregnancy stage to breastfeeding are free and have a lot of resources! So no excuses to stress out and feel alone in this process

Love the online prenatal classes. Lots of knowledge and information were provided and I learned a lot. The online classes are very easily accessible and very resourceful.

The 2nd prenatal class was informative, but the instructor Francesca was very curt with answers to questions during the question period. It would be better if she just went through the questions and skipped over the ones that did not apply rather than rudely dismissing questions verbally making people feel badly.

Loved the session! Lots of information and Joan did a great job leading it. I think we could have done with only 1 break, as it interrupts the flow, but otherwise it was great and I would recommend to anyone who is pregnant!

I recently took an online prenatal class here, and the experience was great. They really provide a very warm environment, and they kindly answered so many questions from the viewers. Things were explained in such a helpful way, and I feel much more knowledge about this current stage of life and what to expect for delivery.

The webinar was well worth the time, and I’m very grateful that this something offered by the hospital.

My husband and I took this class last year when we were expecting our daughter. The webinars were ok but there were so many people taking these classes (signed on at the same time) that there wasn't enough time to get all our questions answered, and we didn't have many. Also, there was no opportunity for practice, like breathing; you just listen to the speaker, type your questions and hope they get answered. What I didn't realize when we signed up is that I would be hounded afterward by sales people trying to get us to buy stem cell storage. I was bombarded by emails and phone calls. Just FYI.read the fine print. A cord blood company is running these classes for free so they can collect your contact information and then use aggressive marketing techniques to get you to buy.

The free webinar with Joan on postpartum was very helpful. Joan was kind and knowledgeable, she answered all my questions and was able to take away a lot of the anxiety. Thank you again Joan for your presentation, the stories you shared and for making me feel reassured. I highly recommend this webinar with Joan, you will leave it feeling a weight lift off your shoulders. Just super!

100% do recommend taking prenatal classes! It was extremely easy doing it online, and the content was extremely informative.

The prenatal webinars offered by Markham Prenatal were a godsend during the pandemic. We found them to be comprehensive, easy to digest, and the presenters were very experienced/knowledgeable. By the end of the second set my husband and I were talking about Joan as if we knew her! Highly recommend them, and we're looking forward to taking the breastfeeding and first aid webinars now too.
