Markham Stouffville Hospital Uxbridge Site: Emergency Department

WORST HOSPITAL EVER. Nurses are extremely rude. I literally witnessed a male nurse with glasses on to shut the door to talk to the nurses instead of helping the patients. I would not recommend any human being to go here unless you want to experience more pain. Take the time and drive somewhere else to be treated better. I couldn't tell if they were being racist towards me or if they were just THAT rude! Absolutely disgusted by the people working here except for the security guard who surprisingly helped me the most!

Best Nurses in this Hospital very profestional and patient. Dr Ho is very Nice chinese Dr. Thank you Dr Ho and all the nurses.

Absolutely the worst hospital in the GTA. Guaranteed wait times of over 5 hours before seeing a physician. Staff (nurses) are rude and aggressive towards any inquiries.

An emergency department that lacks sense of emergency and urgency. 4 people in the waiting room. In 2 hours of waiting 1 person got called in for treatment. No ambulances arrived the entire time.

Highly disappointed with this hospital.my wife is pregnant and require ultra sound every2 weeks and here they have no appointment till october end.its like having facility but cant use it.everything here is super slow on the name of EMERGENCY

UXBRIDGE HOSPITAL. I do not usually write bad reviews but this hospital staff just blew my mind. I have no problem with this hospital except for Christine and manager Sandi. They are the most rude women I have ever met in my entire life. The way they choose to handle conflict and make their OWN staff feel violated and disrespected is unbelievable. I have never entered a workplace that has no care for their staff members. It is so sad that they have jobs where they have power because they abuse it. I am truly disgusted by their behaviour.

Amazing experience in a trying time.
The staff at this hospital treated my mother Mary with dignity respect and deep caring. Clean happy safe environment. Friendly hellos and qualified staff. Staff always answered questions respectfully and clearly.
My mom came in not walking or talking, to walking with a walker and laughing.
Mom had a team of nurses doctors physiotherapist and consultants. At one point the hospital administrator came in to check on mom. A Truly caring hospital with individual attention from qualified friendly staff.
I am forever grateful for the care mom has received at the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital.
