We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Camila Villareal at Markham Smile Center. Her expertise and caring approach made our 3-year-old daughter's dental visits enjoyable. The staff is fantastic, and our daughter eagerly anticipates the treasure box after each check-up and cleaning. We highly recommend Dr. Villareal for her exceptional service and the welcoming atmosphere at the clinic.

I had a root canal done by Dr. Ko at Markham Smile Centre last week. The professionalism of Dr. Ko is impressive. I had a large canker sore at the back of my mouth. Dr. Ko used draping to only expose my tooth that needed treatment without any treatment related-fluid running into my mouth for the whole process while maintaining a sterile technique, which is very important for root canal treatment. I have no pain during and after the treatment. Overall, exceptional dental experience. The only downside is that Dr. Ko normally works at North York and Maple locations, and only a few times a month at the Markham location with demand, so it may be hard to schedule an appt with Dr. Ko at the Markham location. The staff at the Markham office are very friendly and welcoming to patients.

I have my kids booked back in Feb2023. First time, I received a call from this dental office on the date before the appointment saying the dentist took a day off, ask if we can reschedule. I rescheduled to Apr 4,2023. Which is Tomorrow, I rescheduled my back to office day for this dentist appointment for the kids. And I just received a call from this dental office AGAIN and telling Mr they don’t have hygienist tomorrow for my kids, and ask if I can reschedule again? I found this is very ridiculous, you cannot just call ppl Last Minute and ask for reschedule. I will not recommend this place at all. They have NoNE promising on the scheduling at all, they screwed all my schedules again and again. I doubt how they got the 4.9/5 reviews from. Very disappointed.

I had a fantastic experience at this dentist's office. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the dentist was knowledgeable and attentive to my needs. The office was clean and modern, and I felt comfortable throughout my entire visit. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone in need of dental care!

Previous experiences with Dr. Hwang and hygienist Ying was fantastic but horrible experience for the most recent visit. Terrible customer service, rescheduled a cleaning appointment, didn't know they have scheduled a dental recall nor appointed to another hygienist until the actual cleaning started. Although the cleaning was ok, the dentist (obviously not Dr. Hwang) came and checked my teeth for 5 minutes and said I had to do 3 fillings without a single word as explaination and forced to book an appointment with him. According to the hygienists, the dentist who found the cavity would be the one doing filling. Does that even make sense! I've never met that dentist, he knows nothing about me and I know nothing about him, the first sentence he said was I need to do 3 fillings. Not sure what's wrong with the office management.

If you have been dissatisfied and disappointed by other Dental Offices in the past then look no further! I was very skeptical about going to another Dentist but my wife convinced me to and thank God she did, the office is very nice and clean, all the staff is very nice, welcoming and easy to talk to. I was looked after by Dr. Camila, Dr. Jason and Tamanna, all were very professional and knowledgeable and they understood my wants and needs. I highly recommend this Dental Office to anyone looking for high quality Dental care.

I had booked a cleaning appointment and arrived 15 minutes early but did not go in for my appointment until 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment. Once I was in I was told they didn’t have enough time to do the cleaning with no explanation as to why they couldn’t but they’d do a check up and to rebook my cleaning. Very frustrating experience.

Shout-out to the team at Smile Centre Markham! Incredibly professional, friendly, and caring service all the way from the front desk to the Doctors! We have been treated by 2 dentist here and they all seem to listen to the patient and take their time with you. Great follow-up plans. Office decor is amazing, very very nice setup. By far the best decision I have made, after suffering a dental phobia since childhood, I can’t thank EVERYONE here enough at Markham smile Centre for their kindness and reassurance during my visit…dr Jason is so amazing, as was Pam his assistant.just so calming! My experience today at the dentist - Markham Smile - is one of those “wow I wanna come back” experience! I am not the type that like going to the dentist maybe because I feel I have a good set of teeth or simply I don’t like seeing a dentist, but my visit today was with a dentist who not only loves her job but you can also feel it that she knows what she’s is doing and loves doing it! So I wanna keep going back there and to her! I think she’s is Sharon or so! And she has earned my 5 star!

I was told by my dentist that I need to get a root canal treatment. I called the clinic on Wednesday, sent them my x-ray and contact them on Thu to see if I can get an appointment asap. Booked an appointment on Friday with Dr. Camilla. DRM Camilla was very patient to go over my situation, always checked with me if everything was okay. Dr. Camilla is super professional in a friendly manner. She is not only patient with me but also her assistant who is friendly and professional as well. Highly recommend to anyone who needs general or complex treatment. Thanks dr. Camilla and the team!

Professional service from all of the team. Considerate of all your dental fears and issues and they ensure your comfort and ease on every visit. They also did an emergency extraction on my son-in-law who was visiting. He was equally impressed at their service and how quickly they accomodated him as he was in immense pain. Markham Smile Centre is a great dentist. I have been going for over two years and Dr. Ko, Dr. Jason and Joyce are amazing. They take the time to listen to my concerns and make recommendations that have paid off. I highly recommend them.

I will never go back to this place. The first time I went I had several fillings that needed work. She did a couple the first day and I had to return the following week. Not only was I in pain the entire day but the next day while flossing it got stuck and ended pulling my filling loose, until I had to literally cut the floss from my mouth. Our next visit she did tons of fillings and to this day I have more discomfort than when I went there originally. I can’t bite down on food and have tons of sensitivity. All in the places she did work! The dentist and her staff were great with customer service and beyond nice to patients, however the work was not right for me. Both times I went there I left with lots of pain and discomfort, she told me to return if this continued more than a week. However after both times leaving with issues I refuse to go back there. I don’t know what she did but fillings are a pretty basic procedure for a dentist and I haven’t been able to bite down on food properly ever since leaving that place, it’s like the fillings weren’t properly fitted to my teeth and are pushing on nerves or something. I’m no dentist but never have I gone to get fillings done and left in pain and continued to have problem after problem from something so basic. Would highly discourage new patients!

I am so glad that I have found this dental clinic! Like many comments have mentioned, everyone here from the receptionist to the dentist is kind and caring. I have been visiting this clinic for about a year and it has been more than 5 visits for wisdom teeth remove, scaling, and general examinations. I always felt comfortable and well cared during these visits. Dr. Jason, Joyce, and Ying all have made my experience there enjoyable. They are professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a dental clinic!

With regards to dental visits, I have extremely high anxiety. This was my first appointment at MSC and I have to say it went smoothly. Walking in the door, Kim made me feel safe and comfortable. Roary and Dr. Jason listened carefully and were very calming and respectful. Even though I was there for a tooth extraction, it was a pleasant experience. I have a long road ahead and many future appointments but I am now confident that I have finally found the dental team that I will be with through all of it.

Such a wonderful experience. From the moment I walked through the door, Kim was so welcoming. No wait. Rori greeted me. She was so warm and caring and was very thorough to take all my xrays and images and she made me feel so relaxed. I am typically at a level 11 on a 1 to 10 scale when attending any dental facility, but this team was amazing! This was my first visit but not only did they treat me as though I had been a client for years, I felt such a genuine, caring interest from Lorie and Dr. Jason. When Dr. Jason introduced himself, I felt an immediate calm. His manner & presence excudes confidence and comfort. He is an excellent listener, & so knowledgeable. At no time did I feel rushed or a need to depart. They took the time to explain their findings and answered any questions that came to mind. I have NEVER wanted to return to a dental office, but I am actually looking forward to my next visit. Thank you for giving me peace of mind and for caring.

Very nice people, from dentists to hygienists and receptionists. High efficiency. They response quickly if you text them questions on the web. They also offer free virtual consultations.

There is an ample parking space before you get into the office. The receptionists welcome us friendly with proper COVID-19 procedures in place. The staff worked with patient very patiently and professionally. My teeth cleaning was done by Ying, she explained every detail to me and I did not feel any pain or uncomfortable at all. Thanks to the best team!

It's been a while since I've been to a dentist but I'm trying to get back on track with health in general. Overall it was great going to Markham Smile Centre! The receptionist (I believe she was Kim) was friendly. The hygienist, Ying, was attentive and gentle during the cleaning; x-ray tech (forgot her name, sorry!) was great too. Dr. Sara Riad explained things with good detail. Looking forward to going back!

Since I was little, I have always hated going to the dentist. Its always uncomfortable and unpleasant. These days, visiting the dentist isn’t so bad! Dr Jason, Rory, and the lovely staff at reception make the experience 100x better. I have had absolutely no issues with the gum graft and cleanings that I’ve gotten done here. Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful, even when I’m calling in or emailing a hundred questions:). I would highly recommend Markham Smile Centre.

The clinic was clean and the staff was very polite. I particularly liked the fact that everything was explained to me before going in for the procedure so I knew what to expect at each step. The dental hygienist who did the cleaning for me was also very gentle and took my concerns into consideration. I will definitely recommend them.

I found this place on a whim when I was looking for a new dentist in Markham. My hygienist ying was super nice and her cleaning was very gentle yet thorough. I saw Dr. Jason and he was very nice and informative in regards to what needs to be done and provided me with all the information I needed to make a choice. Upon arriving to the Markham Smile Centre, my son and I were greeted with a warm welcome by the receptionists. The hygienists and Dentist were very gentle and transparent with what they were doing. The hygienist that worked on my 9 year old son was patient and very friendly with him, which helped ease his nerves. Our overall experience was A+.

After many botched dental procedures with past dentists I've been to, I am so happy that I found the Markham Smile Clinic. I can honestly say without hesitation that they're professionals in their line of work and know what they're doing. They take the time to listen, and explain any procedure you require in detail, and they actually want you to be relaxed. They even have a chair that massages you while they do their work. ALL the staff are great as well.

From the receptionist welcoming to the doctor, everything was perfect. Going to the dentist usually gives me anxiety but the way they were interacting with me calmed me down. First visit, great experience overall. Everyone from the front desk staff to the X-ray technician were professional, kind and courteous. Dr. Yara is extremely knowledgeable and I could tell she really cares about her patients. The clinic is very organized, super clean and seems to be equipped with all the new tools and apparatus. I really liked how they were thorough with photos/xrays and took the time to review them with me and educate me on how to better maintain my teeth. To top off this solid visit, they generously gave me an amazing OralB Pro 500 as a parting gift!

Called in as I was experiencing jaw pain. Was initially sceptical I would get an appointment the same day but Jenny was very accommodating and thorough about the whole process. Got my panoramic x-ray and prescription all done, took less than half an hour. And best of all, it didn't cost me anything.
