Had good experience here in the past, but today I called ahead because I am showing covid positive on tests, though health811 told me that if my fever is below 100.4F I am not infectious, though I may show positive on rapid tests for up to 3 months.
But I need to see a doctor due to length of my illness, I called and explained this, and was told that I would be able to be seen, as long as I wear a mask.
Drove out 30min to see them, because everywhere else I checked would not see me in person, and when I got there I was told that I will not be seen at all, and that I would need to leave.
I do not mind not being seen because I am covid positive, but being told I would be seen, and then being refused when I show up is beyond frustrating.

Please, please, please be on the same page in the future.

They told me my severe pain was due to the ear wax in my ear and charged me $30 to flush my ear.

Had to visit the ER a few days later as symptoms got worse and it turns out I have Bell’s Palsy!

We have an appointment for specific time. We arrived 10 min early and the young lady at the front counter inform us that we have 10 people in front of us. What? So why you make appointments? Very, very disorganized place. We wait more than 2 hours. Yes more than 2 hours having an appointment. Firs and last time here.

I went here for back pain & abdomen pain 2 times. I was misdiagnosed both time and the male doctor Dr. Taghaddos guessed the wrong illness. First visit he said I might kidney stones and asked me to get an ultrasound done which he filled out the forms wrong. I had to go back to get the form fixed. Then a few months later I had the same symptoms and he said it is gal bladder issue which is wrong again. Both times he made me worry and I even quit my recent new job thinking I had gal bladder issues which cause my abdomen and back pain. He did not even exam me physically or check anything. I went to another family doctor a few days later in North York and she was way more thorough by doing a full physical exam on me. She told me it was just normal back pain, abdomen pain where I only need to go for physiotherapy, massages and do exercises etc to help relieve the pain. There was nothing wrong internal like no gal bladder, no kidney stones etc. Now I feel much better.

Do not go to this clinic & trust the male doctor's diagnosis here. The male doctor here is not thorough at all, only does quick chat or examination etc. He will guess your diagnosis wrong most likely because he is doing such a rush job. Go to a real family doctor that doesn't do a rush job or go to emergency at Markham Stouffville Hospital instead. The doctors at emergency is much better and will do a blood test on you to rule out potential issues or at least do a thorough physical exam on you.

I agree with all the bad and negative feedback. I had the same bad experience as everyone else giving these reviews here.

I was refused service although i was appointed by an emergency doctor the night of the issue. I aim to make a complaint as my condition gotten worse potential law suits.

This place has many doctors and dr khan and dr sharifian ate the best ones who take the time to help u, amd provide u with a proper and effective diagnosis and treatment. Dr Taghaddos is the worse posisble doctor their is there and does not deserve to be a doctor everyrime i go to the clinic and he is there i need to leave and come back as he does not give proper diagnosis or treatment and he always just says go to family doctor or gices robotic repetitive solutions to everyone. Everytime i seen dr taghaddos and he said i was good i had to go back to dr kham or dr sharifian for proper treatment. I would really like to apprecoate dr khan and dr sharifian for being amazimg doctors and helping the community.

Best Urgent Care Clinic. Very good Doctors working hard to take care of patience. They are very busy but they give excellent care and attention to patience. Dr Sharifien Babak and Dr Nader Taghaddos are extremely caring and very. Knowledgeable.

No wait time, more importantly the staff (nurse, intake and doctors) treated patients with compassion, dignity and kindness. If I ever need urgent care again would make the trek here.

Great urgent care! Met my needs always. Have been coming here for the past 3 years. Staff members very friendly and took the time to listen before prescribing something.

Worst experience ever! This child was screaming and crying in pain and the nurses were simply watching and having small talk! Worst emergency room ever!

Horrible doctor Taghaddos. Please call the clinic before you go so you can avoid this guy! Gave me literally 30 seconds to speak, cut me off and told me to come back in 3 days if I am still in pain. All I needed was an x ray req for a suspected broken wrist. Not my first time breaking a wrist either. Never asked any medical questions or even how it happened!

I have never written a bad review on here before but I really feel like I need to share my one and only experience at this clinic. I went here because I had fallen and needed x-rays to make sure nothing was broken. To my surprise, the male doc working at the time told me nothing was broken just by looking at me and said I didn't need x-rays. I had to push him to get them and as he wrote out the paper for them, told me to be careful because x-rays cause cancer.
I have never felt more patronized and uncomfortable by a "medical professional" before.

This place was terrible. Dr babak sharifian is a creep, I did not feel comfortable having him as a doctor. I would not recommend women and children coming for check ups here.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had in my life. This doctor literally gave me 2 seconds of his time for my eye and threw me out. If you want to choose a profession in health care, you should be passionate about it. There is stark difference between a medical professional who went to med school because they truly care about people and their health verses someone that does it for a paycheque.

Professional staff. Nurse was excellent. The doctor was very helpful. Did my ear irrigation. 15 minutes in and out. God bless this doctor

There’s many negative reviews on here but from my experience I was looked after very well with Dr. Babak Sharifian. I have never had such patient centred care and continuity of care until I came across this doctor. After not having a GP for almost 3 years, I had a very detailed general check up. He listened to my every concern and my long list of family history. He sent me for blood test and ECG. He followed up with additional blood tests and ultrasounds. Once that came back abnormal, he told me I would have to see a specialist. He promised me to rush my referral and I was able to talk to my specialist within a week.

If you need care, please go here and request to see Dr. Babak Sharifian. The other doctor… Dr. Taghaddos will NOT give you the time of day no matter what concern you have. I have seen him twice and both times he was with me for less than 3 minutes! I would have docked a star but I don’t want to because 5 stars reflects Dr. Sharifian’s beside manner and knowledge in medicine.

I guess there is no option for a 0 star as opposed to 1 star. Horrible service. Not only have I experienced it on myself but also overhearing a family waiting to pass consultation.
I went there 2 times. First to have my symptoms assessed which they were, although it was done in 5 minutes and the first doctor (BABAK SHARIFLAN) was brushing me off but I guess he seemed more polite than the last one. I got a requisition form to go get an exam done and I had to come back for the results.
I called this place for 3 days in different times and no one ever picked up the phone call, I also emailed. So I had to call the other place to find out if my results were faxed or not.
I went there yesterday and I saw 4 receptionists taking and chilling and doing nothing at all because there was no lineup (which no one critiques that as long as they do their duties which is pick up the phone and or reply to emails) I did confronted them and ask why is it that they don’t answer the phone if they seem to have time to talk to each other. The phone was blinking red and I’m guessing other people were trying to call. They had no way of explaining themselves, obviously.
The second doctor (the worst) NADER TAGHADOS didn’t even know what was the reason for me to visit the clinic and read the results in 2 minutes and referred me immediately to someone else AGAIN. When asked a question his answer was: NO.
I was this close to ask why they chose to be in the medicine field. My father is a doctor and he would never provide such a horrible experience to someone who is a little scared or trying to figure out their symptoms. CLEARLY THIS PLACE FAILED TO DO ITS MAIN JOB, THEY COULD DEFINITELY WORK AT A FAST FOOD ENVIRONMENT SINCE THEY SEEM TO BE IN A HUGE RUSH TO GET THE NEXT PATIENT OR TO COLLECT THE NEXT “PAYMENT”.

It is sad to see how this clinic has gone down hill over the years. I would suggest to avoid it by all means. It seems the clinic's main purpose is only to train students and new admin and nursing staff.

There is no sense of or respect for privacy. As soon as you enter and speak to the receptionist, expect to announce to everyone in the waiting room why you need to see a doctor. After you go into a room, explain your issue once again to the nurse and then repeat it a third time to the doctor. What is the point of this. Clearly no one is looking at the notes.

Another point on privacy. Their rooms are separated by only a curtain so be prepared to hear the details of other people's health issues as well as others hearing your own. Don't expect any special consideration for kids either, they'll hear all the issues that adults have to deal with regardless how descriptive or disgusting the details might be.

The doctors are always in a rush for je ne sais quoi. Be ready to speak fast and to be interrupted when you do. If you don't get all your points out right quickly, they'll be walking out the room before you know it, leaving you feel unheard and disrespected.

In short, don't come here. Good luck.

It seems that every time my children are sick it is at a time where the regular doctors office is closed, or in the regular doctor is not available

I have been to this clinic many times over the past few years, and every single time I am blown away with the service we receive. The doctors and nurses are competent, respectful and fast.

Your visit can only be so short when the waiting room is full of people. I always see that doctors are working as safely and quickly as possible to see patients.

Mild cuts, very bad flu, strep throat, ear infections and others have all been detected and treated for my children at this clinic.

They deserve more funding to support the amount of patients that come through this office.

Dr Neetan Alikhan is very Misbehave and Rude with Women Patients. I Strongly Suggest That No One Go There for Any Treatment or Assessment. Worst place and Not Safe Environment for Patients, Rude Aggressive and uncomfortable.

Terrible place. They hardly looked at my kid. They think a swab for strep is "check up" enough. Sent us home with trivial advice for a common cold. They said return of things don't get better, went back and was sent home with more trivial b.s. I knew they were wrong, took him to the ER a few days later and my 15 month old ended up having bronchitis and pneumonia.

I had a really good experience today. I walked in, greeted so nicely with a girl with green highlights. I was in a crunch because my kids needed to get picked up from school. I asked how long (I was in no rush at all BC I know how busy walks in are), she was so nice to say it won't be long at all though she couldn't give an exact time, her first response wasn't rude like most places who say " oh, I dont know, just sit down). " So she was right! Signed in, got called in shortly after, the dr. Though I forget his name was so positive and I could hear how he was trying to just keep everyone happy. Got my prescription and left. I like this location a lot.

I went in as I missed several days if my medication and was having withdrawal symptoms, including suicidal thoughts. My regular pharmacy closed for the long weekend so I needed a new script to take to a 24hr pharmacy. Once I told them i had been throwing up from COVID they told me to leave, they won't see me because I've had covid too soon ago to be seen. They refused to help a suicidal person. All I could think about as I left was finding responsible homes for my cats because I can't do this any longer.

Doctor Sharifian (Med school in Caribbean, no MCAT required) diagnosed my mother with pneumonia based on listening to her chest. Sent her for x-rays for further diagnosis and received those xrays back. Instead of letting us know that she actually suffered from Congestive Heart Failure. Simply releasing paperwork to my father who is an elderly senior. His paperwork also indicated that she hasn't been to a hospital in 90 days when she was just released post op within the last week. What kind of oath do these people take to care for patients? This urgent care centre is a complete disaster and sad it's the only option for residents. You're a horrible doctor.

We waited in line, provided health card to receptionist and were told to wait in the waiting room. We waited for over an hour and a half, luckily my son started feeling better so we decided to leave. When we went to tell the receptionist that he was feeling better and we were leaving, we found out that he wasn't registered, which explained why I noticed that people who arrived after us had already been seen. Someone really dropped the ball. What if he had gotten worse instead of better?

I went there twice for walk-in but they were not opening the door for me even though I saw 2 patients were already in the family room and they closed it at 8 pm on weekdays but when I went there it was 6: 30 I was trying to call them but they were not receiving it by purpose they don’t care about patients they only care about money highly not recommended please do not waste your time on this unprofessional clinic: (

My cousin came to this clinic as a out of country patient. We were charged $200 for the first visit. A ct scan was issued. The ct was done and we had to pay $200 just for the results. Another visit cost us $200, a brace was recommended which cost $2000 to $3000. The insurance did not want to cover this brace so we outsourced the same brace at a much cheaper rate than Dr. Rens’s. During this time Dr. Ren kept calling to pressure us into buying the brace from him with our credit card. Today oct 1st we went back to tell him he did not sign the insurance paper. He said he would have to charge us for another visit to get the form signed, the very same form that he forgot to sign in the first visit.

Those who are out of country patients, make sure you remind the attending doctor to sign any forms you may need before they forget. They will take advantage of it and ask you to pay for another visit just to sign the forms you needed signed in the first place. Avoid over paying these greedy doctors.

Came here at 7: 30pm on a Wednesday evening when it is supposed to close at 8pm. It’s already closed with two patients in the waiting area. I was speaking to another patient who told me they changed the rules and always do this now because they want to leave on time. He said sometimes they close from 7pm. I can appreciate staff wanting to leave on time but advertise the right time. Some people are really sick and travel far. This place should not be called urgent care clinic.

This place should NOT be call an 'Urgent Care Center'. I went on Tuesday as my ear had bled badly on my Pellow that night as I accidentally pocked a Q-tip after a shower. I saw Dr. Taghaddos. Not sure if the 'Dr' should be in front of his name. This guy looked at my ear for about 3 SECONDS, and said it ear wax! I tried to say my pillow has a lot of blood and he did NOT want to listen. He said EAR WAX, put olive oil or miniral oil and come back next week and he will flush it out. WHAT! I tried to tell him that my ear and jaw area is hurting and I think its getting infected. I could not finish as he left the room. When I Walking out the room the young guy that escorted me in said bye, and the doctor was standing there and I said, 'doctor I have blood' I could not even finish the sentence and he said this in an angry voice " I AM NOT TELL YOU AGAIN, IT'S EAR WAX". Thanks to God I got an appointment with another walk in clinic and that doctor said there is a lot of dried blood and gave me the appropriate antibiotic drops. I am adding a picture of my pillow. I don't know what the owners of this place are hiring or doing but this will NOT be my last choice EVER! I told the other doctor what happened and he was surprised. Good luck if anyone ever goes! What the other reviews are saying is correct. They just want you health card number. I am planning to complain to the health department also. I guess he does not know the difference between blood and ear wax!

Went here for a sports injury. I don't usually go to this urgent care clinic but my usual clinic was closed. The injury is pretty severe as I can't walk, drive, or sleep. My entire hamstring is bruised, black and blue from a strain. The first visit to get my requisition for imaging, the doctor mocked me when I explained what happened.

Me: I was running trying to catch a ball when I stepped in a hole and.
Doctor (interrupting and mocking) : You fell in a hole buddy? !?

For my second visit, to get my results, another doctor was backing out of the room as I asked questions about symptoms I was having. I wanted to make sure that they are consistent with the diagnosis.

The "if it continues in 4-6 weeks you can follow up with your doctor" answer is very annoying since I have not fully explained my symptoms. I don't want to wait a month and a half to find out that something has gone undiagnosed because the doctor was not listening or didn't hear the entire story.

I must have spent less than 5 min total with both doctors. Neither doctor has physically seen how my hamstring looks, listened to the full list of symptoms I've been having, or shown any empathy.

More, if the results of my ultrasound were negative for tears etc. I'd have loved to simply have received a phone call. Like I said, it hurts to drive, and so travelling to the clinic is onerous. I don't see why I needed to come for a second visit just to be rushed out.

Physical activity is a part of my job, and how I manage mental health. I can't afford such a flippant diagnosis, so I will be getting a third opinion from a doctor who will hopefully listen to the whole story.

I was at least able to get my requisition for imaging. Front end staff was great, facility is in decent shape and clean.

Pure gross experience. My mother went to get an X-ray of her injured foot, and went to this clinic after to get results. It was a busy clinic, and she went to the desk to ask about how long it would possibly be. The nice secretary was going to let her know there wasn’t a wait time but a rude employee who wasn’t even involved started directly yelling at her and screaming about how there was no wait times. She continued to yell even after my mother asked her not to yell and mentioned it was rude. Never letting her go to this trash clinic. The employee should be fired, they yelled at a pregnant women ahead in line saying they didn’t care she was in pain and to “do whatever you want”. This person should not be allowed to work in the medical field if you don’t even give a care about your patients. The employee was a medium hight, white, brown-haired women. Fire her. Never go to this clinic.

Waited for a follow up while I heard 3 other patients, prior to me in line, receive their check up, then follow up, as I still had to wait for my own. Walked out of the room after waiting a whole half hour to receive my strep results as it seemed the staff were more concerned with complaining about disorganization than checking up on a patient that should have been dismissed long ago. Absolute mess of a clinic and should only be visited if the only option (which it seems to be amidst the covid disaster).

I went here two days ago in regards of a back injury i had during work, The Doctor never did a general examination, prescribed me pills to take and sent me on my way. I highly recommend going to a family doctor as they would take better care of you

*Update* A week prior to the bad experience I went to my family doctor to properly evaluate my back injury and found out that I’ve sprained my back and was unable to return to work for 6 weeks.

If you need help, Markham Stouffville Urgent Care Clinic is the place to go! The reception ALWAYS provides me with accurate/honest information. They never fail to be compassionate with me and the doctors, no matter the circumstances, will always be there to provide the best medical care possible!

The negative reviews are from peevish people who clearly think this clinic is meant to only serve them! Anyone with an actual chronic condition understands how much this clinic has to deal with, yet they still strive to provide the best care to their ability!

If you are in need of medical care, this clinic is the right choice!

I do not intent to give any star to it but this is the lowest rating available. This place is an absolute waste of time and taxpayers' money. After a long wait, the doctor (I hope they really are) come to show up a minute and you are out armed with whatever professional advice (take Tynenol, will get better soon, take a X ray.) they give you.

They turned my girlfriend away several times citing that her health card was expired. It has been expired for less than a week and in order to be seen I had to pull up the government of Ontario law which states that expired health cards are still valid until September 30 2022. Receptionist stated “many patients show us this, I don’t know what this is”. I stated that this is the law and we ended up being seen a few minutes later. I would like to hear a response from the owners of this clinic because I believe I have grounds to report this to government of Ontario, as it appears several other patients were incorrectly charged as well.

Im not sure how after so many negative reviews about Dr's/Nurses at this clinic that the same Dr/Nurses are still practicing at the clinic. Im disgusted to be a tax payer and know that this is where my hard earned money goes too. My experience at this clinic each and every time has been way below par at best. Dr's at this clinic have no empathy/sympathy and treat you like a second class citizen which has absoulutley no place in our health care system. To think you go here to get better and walk out feeling worse because of how rudely you are treated. Get your act together at this clinic because sooner or later a real urgent matter will happen here and it will be on your clock

We've been to this clinic numerous times for things that can be dealt with by them only to be sent to the ER after providing our health card and waiting for 1 hour each time we visited. I firmly believe this clinic just collects money by swiping our health cards and then sending people off to the hospital without actually dealing with the problem. I will be filing a complaint about their practices to the Ministry of health and the college of doctors.

Went in for an allergic reaction from a wasp sting, saw Dr. Taghaddos and he just tried rushing me out. I got a bad, very painful rash on my hand that’s travelling up my arm from the sting (sting was 2 days ago) and he insisted the rash was “getting better” when he hadn’t even looked at the photos I had of my hand from before (and he would’ve clearly seen the rash has been getting worse). I then showed him the pictures and he still insisted it’s “getting better” but said he’d prescribe me antibiotics. Way to just rush me out the door. And the best part is they weren’t even busy… so I’m currently going to another walk in cause that was a big waste of time.

Seen him a few times at this clinic and each time he is worse than time before. Doesnt take time with his patient and rushes you out of room in less than 5 mins. He doesnt even invesigate your health issue, and doesnt let you explain fully about how your feeling. Will not come back here and will advise everyone else not too as well Disgusting Dr.

It is very important that you take note of your patients comments about you, under every review you keep writing that you regret, how about you change your pattern and at least attend to pple rather than walk in, say whatever you feel like rather than let the patient tell you the actual problem…. Even if you have treated similar cases, not every one’s situation is the same …. If you dnt want to see patients pls close the clinic. Too many bad reviews

Im only giving one star cuz i have to in order tk make a review. This place a trash avoid this place they do not help you. They ignore your call they ignore your knock. This place is doesnt care abt your heath.
