Dr. Loo is the best, takes her time with each visit to explain any concerns Pancha might have and provides detailed instructions for everything. Very attentive staff that follows up with every visit. Thank you.

My go-to vet for my two cats and also my mom's two cats. The doctors are great and knows their stuff, and their technicians are also amazing! I can tell that the techs are very caring to animals as one time one of my cat got some bad mouse trap glue stuck on her belly and I took her in to make sure it was harmless, and the tech was lecturing me on how the rat glue is inhumane, almost to the point where it looked like she was upset at me, until she realized that it really wasn't my house that had the mouse trap glue but somewhere else as I also thought it was inhumane. You can really tell that they deeply care about all animals and that's a sign of a good vet clinic!

Been going to this Clinic for about 10 years, since my golden doodle was young. Staff is always so kind and accommodating. My golden doodle Elena has gotten multiple procedures done here with no complications. The Veterinarians are very knowledgeable and actually care about your furry loved ones. Would recommend to anyone in the Markham area.

I recently had the pleasure of bringing my puppy to Dr. Irene Lui and her team, and I cannot express enough how impressed I am with their exceptional level of care and outstanding customer service. From the moment I walked through their doors, I felt welcomed and knew that my furry friend was in great hands.

First and foremost, the professionalism displayed by the entire staff was truly commendable. They demonstrated an extensive knowledge and expertise in the field, instilling in me a sense of confidence that my puppy was receiving top-notch care. The veterinarians and technicians were not only skilled but also took the time to thoroughly address all my concerns and answer every single question I had, no matter how small or trivial it may have seemed.

The staff are so friendly and patient. They are approachable and are able to answer all your questions with detail. Our dog is shy, but they did everything they could to make him comfortable. Would recommend 10/10

The staff is so friendly! I forgot my dogs medications two hours away from my location and they were able to contact my vet and get me a few doses to help us out! We did have to wait til close to the end of the day to pick up when ready but my dog was able to get a few doses of her medication.

Recently, we visited for an appointment and were scheduled with another doctor. I wasn't aware we'd be switching doctors, not a huge deal, but would've been nice to know. The vet assistant and doctor we had made me feel worried about my dog's well-being just so they can get testing done.

I also asked a lot of questions about things I was concerned with, and was never given a direct answer. Instead, I was looked at like I should have known these things already. The solution they provided was to spend more money. In fact, they have constantly pressured me into spaying my dog. I had told them multiple times I understand the health benefits for it but my partner and I were not sure yet. One of the strategies the doctor had to get me to re-consider was to talk to my dog saying, "you need to get spayed so you don't end up with cancer! " in that cutesy voice you do to a dog. I was utterly shocked by this.

On top of that, pricing for each exam with vaccination had changed, unbeknownst to be.

Giving 2-stars because the front desk folks are nice. This location is way overpriced with the only motivation was to generate numbers.

I wouldn't recommend this place to friends/colleagues.

Always a pleasure coming here. My usually shy and anxious cat always comes back home happy and calm.

As my 14 year old dog got sick and reached the end stage of her life, I am very grateful to have found Dr Leung at the Markham Vet Clinic as well as the supporting staff. Dr. Leung is one of the most caring Vets that I have come across, and she was very thorough in her treatment as well as her communication with me - clearly and patiently explained her conditions and the various treatment plans and options. She even sent videos in real-time to show my dog during treatment, and efficiently overcome any communication barrier during Covid protocols.

Everything in Ontario has been open for months now. It’s time you unlocked your door and opened up! Stop this text / phone to hand off your pet - not allowing customers into your facility. Ridiculous! And with all of this great personalized service we get to pay 50% more than 2 months ago. Well Done!

I do not think this clinic has exceptionally higher price but if I have to go again I would go somewhere else.

My cat was brought there for a second opinion because I want make the best decision for my cat’s condition. I don’t want to go over a long story but at the end of our appointment, Dr. Firth said “It is up to you, your cat is going to die anyway. ” As soon as I heard this, my heart was so sour and I couldn’t believe this would come out from a doctor.

My cat passed away right beside me last year. I gave her a funeral and with all her family by her side. I treat her like my family and not just an “animal”.

This review is not intended to do any harm to clinic, rather, the purpose is to give my story and experience to other pet owners. Maybe consider to find a more compassionate doctors to help your furry friends.

We visited for the annual vaccination of your cat. The appointment was a bit late due to the earlier appointment extending into ours.
The staff was very polite, courteous and professional. The vet explained to us in detail the health of our cat, and we were very much satisfied with the experience.
I would certainly recommend it.

They are like family here. I know that my little fur baby will be taken care of as if she's their very own baby. And my little kitty enjoys her trips too!

I am very dissatisfied with the Markham vet clinic. They are extremely over priced and I feel like they are always trying to rip off their clients.

I called to book an emergency appointment and they were not very accommodating and the next available appointment is in July.

When I expressed over the phone that this information isn’t very helpful, they then called my sister in law and told her hey can accommodate however they will charge after hour prices of $150!

Took my 3 months old puppy for the first visit and they charged me 200+. Gave a 3 months old puppy Rabies vaccine. Gave him unnecessary medicines etc and charged again. Charged us for fecal test even though we did not bring sample.until now no one followed up on where is the sample. It's a sales org where every person in that clinic is responsible for selling.even after all this, they gave me a 30 min pitch and sad stories to buy pet insurance. Duped and will never go again. Also they had a 1 dollar health check promotion and planned on duping me on that front as well. I had to justify my way through to get that promotion. Even after that 1 dollar, my bill is 200+

It was our first visit with my 3 year old dog with an ear infection. The staff was very friendly and accommodating with our drop in and was very detailed in communicating their procedures.

Disappointed they do not take in Aves (birds) shouldnt be only caring for cats and dogs but all species as well isnt that what veterinary school is for? If you care for all animals and have the knowledge for them you should be able to take them in.

Fantastic first visit, super helpful staff and informative vet. They were patient with me and all my questions and helped me get comfortable with being a new pet owner.

They advised rather than told me on what all could be required and provided me with options along the way.

Since the time I got my puppy Leo, I have been going there and we have been treated with nothing but respect and so much of love towards Leo. The doctors are very professional and give the right suggestions for him. Anytime I have a question or something is bothering Leo, I have the freedom to call Markham vet clinic and I know that I will get the right advice! Thank you to the whole team, you have made us feel like a family! ️

A little over a month ago, I had to make a very hard decision to help my beloved Kobee (Sheltie) move on due to his natural aging health condition. He would have been 15 this June. It is never easy to make this tough decision for a member of the family.

From my initial phone call to the clinic to Kobee’s last breath, the level of professionalism and service that I’ve (and Kobee) received from the staff members of this clinic has been impeccable. Genuine. Loving. Caring. A special thank you to Lorraine, lovely vet technician, who has taken care of our family with kids’ gloves. All the little things that Lorraine and team have done, from offering a print of Kobee’s paw to a clipping of the fur, and the sympathy card that arrived in the mail shortly after, made the difficult times a little brighter.

My dog, Pepper and I love the Markham Veterinary Clinic. All the people there are warm and friendly. I trust them completely with my dog’s health issues. He is a big part of my family and I would never go anywhere else!

Expensive! Too much care may cause unnecessary expense. I feel that always max profit each visit! 3 visits total cost me $1500 for my healthy puppy, cost incl vaccine, neuter, medicine. If you dont care the budget, this is a good vet clinic.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. We feel confident that our puppy is getting the very best care.
